  • Ellie Cocks

You don’t have to go far nowadays to find someone that has heard of Ellie Cocks. The London-bred DJ/Producer has been an impacting figure in the UK scene at a grass-roots level and has scaled to dizzy new heights in recent years. An artist with a tastefully diverse musical background raised on a staple diet of Motown, soul, jazz, hip hop and everything in between. Ellie allows her soulful roots to subtly fragrant her work in a way that gives her an unprecedented musical identity. You could describe her sound as stripped-back and weighty, with tireless emphasis on rolling, dubby, heavyset grooves. Ellie’s distinct acoustic signature has earned her a seamlessly growing amount of support at many levels within the industry, from ravers to bookers and promoters alike; her charismatic energy and passion have found her consistently championed. • Green Velvet

Curtis Alan Jones has a laundry list of monikers he has gone by since his first appearance in the dance music scene in 1991. However, he is best known as Green Velvet and Cajmere. Inspired by the house music craze in the 80s, Jones picked himself up a keyboard, 4-track, and drum machine to try his hand at making music. It turned out he had a knack for it and in 1991, under Cajmere, he began releasing music. In 1992, he started his own label, Cajual Records, and released “Brighter Days”, a collaboration with superstar dance music singer, Dajae. The song hit number 2 on  the Billboard Dance Music Charts. Modern-day publications like Rolling Stone and MixMag have included the single on their lists detailing the best house tracks to date. In ‘95, under the name Green Velvet and on his new label Relief Records, Jones released another single “Flash” that too, skyrocketed to the top of the charts. He continued to produce bangers, putting out albums under the name Green Velvet.

  • Skream

London-based producer/DJ Skream (Ollie Jones) played a vital role in the development and popularity of dubstep during the 2000s. Following early collaborations with fellow genre pioneers Benga and Loefah, he released one of dubstep's most easily recognizable tracks, "Midnight Request Line," in 2005. His tracks and remixes helped shift the genre from being a darker, more minimalist form of club music to something more melodic and accessible, paving the way for its mainstream popularity by the beginning of the 2010s. Skream's biggest commercial success was his involvement as part of dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man (with Benga and Artwork), whose self-titled debut album reached number one on the U.K. dance chart. However, while primarily associated with dubstep, Skream has never limited himself to one genre, and much of his work since the mid-2010s has explored house and techno. ~ AllMusic

  • Sonny Fodera

Australian DJ and producer Sonny Fodera cut his teeth on straightforward house sounds before evolving to include elements of pop and other strains of electronic music. He merged four-on-the-floor bangers with EDM-flavored snare rolls and drops on his 2019 release Rise. Frequently FlyingBased out of Melbourne, Fodera began making music as a hip-hop producer in his teens, but his muse turned to house when he heard Derrick Carter's booming dance tracks. In his early twenties, Fodera was working as a DJ and making tracks of his own, debuting with the It's Time EP in 2013 on house maven Cajmere's Cajual Records label. A proper full-length, Moving Forward, was released later that year, and the more collaborative After Parties & Aeroplanes arrived the next year featuring appearances from Ari Lourdes, Low Steppa, Doorly, and many others. ~ AllMusic
