First debuting in 2014, Los Angeles bass producer Tsuruda is a classically trained musician who blends experimental hip-hop with avant-garde electronics. Today, he stands at the upper echelon of bass music culture with one of the most impressive bodies of work in independent electronic music. Tsuruda has self-released four full-length projects — ‘drumsand,’ ‘madness,’ ‘rawflavor’ and ‘RIP’ — in addition to his two-part compilation series, ‘Internet Slaps Vol. 1’ and ‘Internet Slaps Vol. 2.’ His discography includes singles on labels like Team Supreme, Darker Than Wax and 1985 Music, plus remixes for Noisia, The Glitch Mob and more.

With early co-signs from Skream and Rusko, a feature on Diplo’s ‘Blow Your Head’ compilation, and the launch of a bubbling new SMOG event series in LA, John Dadzie, professionally known as 12th Planet, quickly became known as one of the first ambassadors of dubstep in the US. As the sound began to spread, he helped navigate its uncharted territories with tracks like the breakout “68” single, released on his newly launched SMOG label, and collaborations alongside Skrillex and Kill the Noise (“Burst”, followed by the Grammy winning “Right on Time”). In the following years, 12th Planet became a household name within the global dance music circuit with official releases on Interscope, Mad Decent, Monstercat, and OWSLA, as well as support on Skrillex’s Mothership Tours, and stops at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC, HARD, and Ultra.

One of dance music’s brightest stars, 27-year old Berlin based producer and live act Ben Böhmer has had another monumental year. His debut album ‘Breathing’, released on Anjunadeep at the end of 2019, has since attained over 25 million streams, drawing admirers from across the Electronic music spectrum; including Boris Brejcha, who remixed the title track and pronounced Ben as his ‘Breakthrough Artist of 2020’. A string of other singles and remixes released across the year have seen Ben become a mainstay in the flagship Electronic playlists and Beatport 100, as he sets his sights on his second album, due out towards the end of 2021.

Charlotte de Witte’s a Belgian born DJ whose surge on the scene has resulted in her being one of the most sought-after names in electronic music today. Highlight performances across the continents, Mixmag & DJ Mag covers, high-ranking positions in the charts & lists, and owner of one of the strongest social media profiles in music today, confirm her status as nouveaux techno royalty. Acclaimed accolades such as Best Techno at the DJ Awards in 2019 and a high profile residency at BBC Radio 1 are honoring validations of de Witte’s hard work. However it’s her everlasting pursuit to push her boundaries and those of electronic music, that drives her.

Claude VonStroke created a small underground record label called Dirtybird in 2005 and grew it into a full-fledged events, clothing and music brand over the last 15 years. During this time, he has also managed to release 4 artist albums and some of the most iconic house music tracks of the last two decades. Most people know Claude VonStroke for his smiling DJ persona touring every major city, festival, and basement after-party around the world. But Claude has also influenced the very fabric of the dance community, A&Ring an impeccable roster of acts like Justin Martin, Fisher, Shiba San, Catz n Dogz, Riva Starr, Tim Green, Breach, Eats Everything, Walker & Royce, Shadow Child, and countless others. French dance music producer, Quentin Dombres or professionally known as Dombresky has been producing music for nearly a decade and a half now. It took years for Dombresky to find his way out of local markets in France and onto the global level but that breakthrough occurred when he produced an official remix for A-Trak’s “We All Fall Down”. From there, Dombresky’s career started to explode; connecting the dots with fellow Frenchman Tchami. The two created “Freakin” which debuted on Tchami’s EP. With that success, the two would collaborate again, when Dombresky released singles “Wait” and “Utopia” on Tchami’s label ‘Confession’.

Enrico Sangiuliano is a name you will have noted if you have been anywhere in the electronic music scene for the last few years. Starting out as a sound engineer in Italy, he started to produce electronic music in the ’90s. Italy was his playground, with the illegal rave scene exploding, this was where he made his first break. Gerd Janson runs the Running Back label, and DJs around the world under the name Gerd Janson. Gerd Janson is running the German label Running Back together with Thorsten Scheu (aka Glance). As many kids who have grown up in the early 90s in the South West of Germany, Gerd Janson was a regular guest at Mannheim’s legendary Milk Club. Although this venue was most popular for putting jungle on the map in Germany, Gerd always used to wait eagerly for the early morning hours when the pace slowed down and US styled house was the ruling sound. In the following years, his deep love for house and disco music was fed in Frankfurt’s Wild Pitch Club by Heiko MSO and Ata. In 1998, Gerd Janson finally had his first DJ residency at Darmstadt’s Café Kesselhaus.

A love for SUBwoofers and elecTRONICS has brought us Subtronics. Growing up in Philadelphia, PA, Jesse Kardon, AKA Subtronics, had a passion for his drum set and Radiohead. While in high school, he discovered electronic music and became enamored with the scene. Fusing his unique blend of cutting-edge sound design with hard-hitting bass, Subtronics seeks to push the envelope with sound engineering. On the live front, he has built a rabid following with his high-energy sets and advanced mixing skills. When his sell-out Cyclops Invasion Tour was cut short due to the global pandemic in 2020, Subtronics seized the opportunity to continue reaching new audiences. He became an official partner on Twitch, produced 3-dimensional XR/VR live-stream sets, dropped a Splice Sample Pack, pioneered socially distanced drive-in and pod events with Monster Energy as a sponsor, and launched his very own label, Cyclops Recordings, in December of 2020. Subtronics’ label is home to his last four EPs, as well as multiple releases featuring the next generation of bass music producers. Through his recordings, epic-length DJ sets, dozens of commercial mix albums, and label operations, Sven Väth is one German trance and techno's most popular proponents. Originally the lead singer of a dance-pop group named OFF, Väth hit the big time in 1986 when OFF's "Electrica Salsa (Baba Baba)" became a number three pop hit in their native country. The band later disintegrated, leaving Väth free to pursue his interest in the hard trance underground of Frankfurt. An Accident in ParadiseVäth became a DJ of note for his marathon sets, which sometimes approached 24 hours, and his 1992 co-founding of Harthouse Records. His own releases on the label included those by Barbarella, Astral Pilot, and Metal Masters with the help of his partner, Ralf Hildenbeutel. Blessed with an agreement connecting Harthouse and its subsidiaries to the American major label Warner Bros., Väth released Accident in Paradise, again with contributions from Hildenbeutel, as his first solo album.

The Glitch Mob – the Los Angeles-based trio comprising Justin Boreta, Ed Ma, and Joshua Mayer – continues their forward movement into 2014. Boreta, edIT, and Ooah came together around 2006, passing through various members until settling on this core trio of musicians. Willbeaux (Will Sheehan) is a dynamic producer and DJ inspired by the energy of the city where he lives, Denver, Colorado. The Bay Area native combines elements of house, trap, break beats and funk to create his own hypnotizing style of dance music — and you better believe Willbeaux is here to make you dance. Will's career began in 2018 when he was booked to play silent discos at local electronic and hip-hop venue Cervantes. Since then, he has been able to play around local denver venues includent, Herman's Hideaway, Syntax, Ophelia's and more. March 2019 Willbeaux dropped an EP titled Colorize, with features from noteworthy Denver musicians Grayson Erhard, Carlitta An and RJW of the band Dream Feed. In the start 2020 Willbeaux released a string of singles with his new uptempo sound. Each song stood out on its own and will feature a different vocalist and style, while maintaining a prioritized focus on getting listeners to dance.

ZHU is the mysterious Chinese-American artist behind the 2014 hit single “Faded”. His real name is Steven Zhu and he was born in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. Although he released his first single anonymously in 2014, it wasn’t until 2015 that ZHU revealed himself as the mastermind behind the project. Over the years, he has become one of the most prolific electronic music producers in the world. ZHU’s career began with his self-titled debut album in 2014. The album featured several hit singles such as “Faded”, “Stay Closer” and “Working for It”. Since then, he has released four more albums: Ringos Desert (2016), Generationwhy (2016), Stardustexhalemarrakechdreams (2017) and RINGOS BACK (2019). He has also collaborated with many notable artists such as Tame Impala, KAYTRANADA, Skrillex, and Nero. In 2015, ZHU was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his debut album. He won the award for Best Dance Recording at the 2016 Grammy Awards for his collaboration with Skrillex and they Boyz Noize on “Working For It”.
