A regular inside the DJ booth of Pawnshop, Taipei - Gemnital used to live in Berlin and study to be a sound artist. Gemnital, who grew up inthe 90s, embarked on a musical journey ranging fromHip-Hop and R&B to rock, jazz, experimental music,exploring the realms of psychedelic, funk, and disco. As time went on, he delved deeper into various genres but eventually circled back to Mandarin golden melodies. During his studies in Leipzig, Germany, he found himself immersed in underground warehouse parties held in ruins and forests. Later in Berlin, he discovered his true self in a multitude of clubs and queer parties, mastering the art of creating and maintaining energy and ambiance within different spaces. Now back in Taipei, he is a regular DJ at Pawnshop and a regular member of the popular queer party "Hakone Hotspring" and "Homepleasure". On the dance floor, he aims to play without boundaries, seamlessly blending familiar and unfamiliar tracks picked from his diverse musical experiences, creating an atmosphere of pure dancefloor bliss. Recently, he has been exploring the intersection of Techno and House, seeking speed and exhilaration from genres like Hardgroove, and strives to craft sets that take the listeners on a captivating journey with well-defined peaks and transitions. Beyond his DJ persona, Gemnital is deeply involved in sound research and the field of sound art. He is a university lecturer and critic in the realm of sound art, and his personal sound walks and installation works have been showcased at art festivals such as Berlin's 48 Stunden Neukölln.

Al Burro (London) first got interested in electronica back in 1994 when he first heard Jeff Mills’ Transmission 1. Drawn to the futuristic soundscape, he and a friend bought their first set of belt-driven decks back in 1995 and this began a longstanding affair with techno. After annoying the neighbours for a couple of years, they decided to branch out and start annoying people at private parties and smaller venues, and annoy them they did. But, with practice and time came a more well-rounded sound; after which, he took a 5-year sabbatical from DJing and took his turn on the dance floors around the world. Al Burro is equally at home in industrial warehouses as in ambient pastures. He is a firm believer in variations on a common theme: It's about the mood not the genre. Al cites as some of his influences: Gilles Peterson, Ninja Tunes, Mr Scruff, DJ Food, Jurassic 5, Radiohead, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Derrick May, UR and the list goes on.

Creating sonic bridges from the literal, perceivable world into mythical, imaginal realms is what Sardinian-born and Berlin-based DJ and Producer Claudio PRC might be best known for. Since appearing in the Italian deep techno scene in 2006, he has developed an immersive sound world inspired by a fascination with Detroit techno and electroacoustics. By studying Music and New Technologies, he gained sonic and tonal combination skills - this, paired with a conscious, philosophical approach, has led him to create a distinct sound. A sound that understands electronic music through a cyclical, cosmic lens. Instead of using extravertive elements, he enhances the overall experience through a wide-screen appeal, playing with spatial awareness through details and taking the audience on a journey into the all-or-nothing of sound. Following the first album “Inner State” on Prologue Music in 2012, Claudio released long players on Semantica Records and his co-founded label, TGP (The Gods Planet). An undeniably profound connection to the island of Sardinia is palpable in all of his works. It surfaces through the relationship with his home base collective Basstation in Cagliari or the appearance of oceanic references in his music like in his most recent, well-received EP “Challenger Deep” on the dutch label Delsin Records (2022). In 2020, Claudio founded 012, a platform for art and sound research. 012 is a canvas to live the unconstrained and interconnected nature of artistic vision. Next to being a label showcasing collaborative work, it is also a curated night held at several clubs across Europe. Kikelomo is a London born, Berlin based DJ, Radio Presenter and Boiler Room Host. She is currently hosting her own radio show 'Pass The Aux' on Cashmere Radio, showcasing the very best in UK and underground club music. Pushing for atmospheric, raw, rugged, and uncompromising sound, rife with nods to the Birmingham scene and Berlin’s brutalist 90s vibe, his sets are a display of momentum and tension building. It's this consistency in energy and precision in sound that have made Yonti a mainstay in his hometown, formerly holding residencies at the renowned club 'The Block' and infamous 'Pag TLV' nights, and presently a resident of Tel Aviv's newest hotspot 'Phi Garden', where he curates techno-focused nights, and runs a queer house-oriented event series called 'Gazoz'. Yonti's dedication to music and unwavering energy behind the decks has earned him a well-deserved reputation among electronic music enthusiasts.

With roots from Taiwan and Japan, Yoshi Nori cut his teeth as a DJ in Chicago around 2003. Not only was he heavily influenced by raw Chicago house sound, combination of minimal side of neo-Detroit, and renaissance of early 2000 post-punk movement shaped as foundation for his ever unpredictable DJ sets. Starting 2020 Yoshi Nori has launched a brand new label "禁 Jin". This project aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.
