FJAAK, the Berlin-based duo of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own.

Mixing a tasteful selection of melodic and uplifting house and techno his forte lays in his ability to read crowds and continually feed off their reaction to guide his sets towards their appeal. Always pushing the envelope just enough to experiment with blends of sounds and tones to offer something different each set and give the crowd something special.

Born and raised in South Africa, Jay Bhana has been thriving in the entertainment industry for well over a decade as a Club & Event DJ. Jay has been involved with some of the most prestigious events held across South Africa and is now based in Sydney, Australia where he has very quickly worked his way up the ranks. Due to his experience & technical ability, Jay continues to rock crowds at regular bookings in Sydney’s hottest venues. As a Producer, Jay has several successful releases available online through Beatport/iTunes/Traxsource. His tracks are also supported by several internationally renowned DJs. Jateen takes things deep with sounds reminiscent of the sun rising at your first illegal rave.

Laura King hails from the Southern shores of Australia, where she’s performed at an array of festivals, events and club shows across the country. Add to that her first international festival and it’s easy to see why this unique young lady is proving to be a crowd favourite wherever she goes. Combining influences from early tribal techno, hard trance and acid, Laura’s music creates a nostalgic yet innovative performance and the uproar of a good old classic dance party.

Spain-based producer Eric Estornel initially reserved the name Maceo Plex for his festival-friendly house productions before gradually taking the project into a darker, more introspective direction. After establishing himself in the techno world for his work as Maetrik beginning in the early 2000s, and exploring more abstract electro and IDM as Mariel Ito around the middle of the decade, he began releasing some of his most accessible tracks under the Maceo Plex handle starting in 2009. Over the course of the following decade, the project evolved from deep, sexy house with prominent Chicago and Detroit influences (such as on debut full-length Life Index) to a significantly more dramatic sound (particularly the ambitious Solar). In addition to releasing singles and full-lengths on well-regarded labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Kompakt, and Minus, Maceo Plex has mixed volumes of the DJ-Kicks and Fabric series. ~ AllMusic
