Born in 1975, Fresh Funky S started hopping around Paris with a bag of beats when he became owner of his first set of decks, in 1997. A hint of House, a pinch of Funk, liberally sprinkled with Techno, he's managed to hold on to his unique style throughout the years, a rhythm that enchants the floor. During the time of his first sets at the Dépanneur and the Pigalles he also paced the numerous Flyman parties, before moving on to Les Bains Douches, the Delaville Café, the Batofar Terrace and the Léopard, the Troisième Lieu or Yono. Starting in 2005, he took his style abroad. First he spinned records at Voda in San Francisco, but it is in Hong Kong that he and his style are most comfortable. There he has performed at Club Magazine in 2007, as well as at Mint and at Cliq in 2008. He has performed at Linq in 2009, at YUMLA in 2010 and 2011, at Midnight, Bassment, Drop, Pulp, OPA (Paris) in 2012 and 2013, and will continue to do so in 2014.

Hugo first discovered underground house and techno when he worked as an event photographer in 2010. The bold and mesmerizing tunes he heard at legendary venues Yumla and Bassment piqued his interest in the art of DJing. With his photography on hiatus since 2017, Hugo now plays consistent, well-curated sets to diverse audiences. Hugo's taste in 4/4 dance music can best be described as “very deep”, but he also enjoys experimenting with hip hop and indie rock – the two genres he grew up with - when the moment is right. Arriving at each gig with an external hard drive worth of uncompressed music, there are always the right tunes at Hugo's disposal, for a bar session, club night or beach party. JayMe may not be a familiar name globally, but try mentioning it to any credible DJ in HK, and you will be met with wide opened eyes and a big grin. Cuz he’s one of the most respected figure in the local scene. He grew up in the 70’s witnessing the disco boom first hand. He kept his love collecting records and going to parties for more than 30 years. Began DJing from 2013 alongside his medical career, earning the title “the Disco Doctor”. Started his own Loft style private club in 2015 called Acadana (literally means Party without a care) which has become the most cherished place amongst all underground DJs. Dabbled into Techno territory in 2017 playing at Teknival, Social Room etc. 2018 saw him did several unforgettable gigs at 宀club, the rising star of HK’s scene. Adam was a pioneer of the 1990s breakbeat movement in Hong Kong, and later evolved into one of the most influential DJs in the city’s techno scene. A long-standing music journalist, AKW has a love of music that stretches back decades, and this shows in his mixsets which combine everything from throbbing electro, soaring house and hard techno. As the team’s media strategist and public-relations manager, AKW has laid out the plan for PUSH’s domination of the local dance music scene – and has big ideas in mind for the future.

Born and raised in Hong Kong,Arun has been in love with house music since his early teenage years, probably brought about from listening to his dad's collection of disco and all sorts of retro bits from his impeccable record collection. After picking up a pair of low-torque turntables at the age of 16, it wasn't long before his mixing skills got him a first residency at a small bar in the city. He now stays between Hong Kong and London, making and playing the music he loves.

DJ Fu has played in many cities across the globe including London, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Manchester in world class venues such at Matter, Ministry of Sound, The End as well as at various promotions including Marky and Friends, Mixmag, Metropolis, Urban Nerds, Ape, One Nation. Fu is one of the few Drum & Bass DJ’s of recent times who has managed to be recognised purely for his talent on the decks. One of Hong Kong's biggest underground tastemakers in the bass music scene and part of the award-winning Unchained crew, Just Bee's immediately recognisable style has seen her rocking decks from warehouses to the rooftops all across the city. Whether she's crafting inviting house vibes at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, or high-energy all-night sets at Oil Club and Oma, Just Bee remains a master selector across genres, playing at some of the hottest festivals and venues including Outlook Festival, Clockenflap, Social Room, Mihn and Popiniays.

A regular on the regional underground and festival circuit, Mengzy always packs a punch with diverse influences and plenty of bass weight - no matter what genres her eclectic sets journey across. TAKU HIRAYAMA (Junktion) Taku Hirayama, or simply known as Taku, is a Japanese DJ based in Asia. Exploring DJing at the turn of this century, Taku cultivated a wide range of music selection with many chances of musical meeting across the globe in past years. Leaving the shores of southern Japan, Taku relocated himself from Fukuoka to Hong Kong over a decade ago. There he launched his own platform "Junktion”. A venture for inviting credible names in the industry and like-minded artists, also exposing hidden talents to global audience.

Through a selection of high-level grooves and top-shelf energy, Vence’s sets deliver a lush blend of bass-heavy rollers combined with euphoric electronica. Raised in The Hague on the coast of the Netherlands, Vence was exploring dancefloors and collecting music as a youngling well before he took up DJing. With a move to North Africa, he quickly became part of the vibrant Tunisian music scene, playing for the influential ‘Downtown Vibes’ collective, the mesmerizing Tunisian ‘Woodstock Festival’ and many clubs such as ‘Wax Bar’, ‘Yuka’ and ‘Habibi’. Vence is currently based in Hong Kong. Though you might catch his jazzier side playing vinyl sets at the Mandarin Oriental, he has found a true home with the minimal stronghold ‘Interlude’, where his sound has been given a platform for opening doors and minds alike. Towering over the decks with a smile, Vence intends to make otherworldly sounds feel familiar and bring listeners together in sonic moments that briefly make us whole.

Ani Phoebe is a DJ from NYC who is currently based in Hong Kong by way of Rio de Janeiro. She founded Bad Times Disco, an online record shop in Hong Kong, and runs a monthly show called Parallel Worlds on The Lot Radio. She comes from digging tradition and favors lesser-known 80s and 90s records from unexpected corners and crates. One of Ani Phoebe’s areas of experience is the downtempo, cosmic disco, and synth-pop realms, being a resident DJ of the renowned underground music festival Cosmic Gathering (DE) and having performed at experimental stages on Nation of Gondwana (DE) and Atlas Electronic (MR). At the same time, her breadth also extends to heavy dancefloors and electronic clubs, performing sets that expand on 90s progressive house to 2000s Eurodance, digging for rare versions of nostalgic numbers. Weaving through all her sets are emotional, often female vocals, and synthesized sounds in all of their diversity and power. A strong emerging DJ on the global scene, Ani Phoebe has recently toured Brazil, the US, and Europe in 2022.

Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. A torrent of new influences then led meta on a meandering path of esoteric techno. At present, meta avoids sitting in any one pocket; contented more with crossing over and exploring genre mutations. By embracing every personal musical imprint, he tries best to convey these broad elements onto the dance floor. Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his unique style of blending techno, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility of enjoying the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-minded and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more. He has also performed at a renowned experimental venue in Tokyo, KGR Tokyo, and has contributed a podcast mix to C-Kay’s Coma Hole series.

After her debut on Lovefingers’ ESP Institute, Powder’s cosmic rhythms found a home on Samo DJ’s Born Free & Discodromo’s CockTail d’Amore Music, pushing her tribal-inspired, hypnotic sound further into a surreal house, techno and psychedelic disco territory. She recently ushered in a brand new mix series for Beats in Space, a further testament to her DJ skills and sensibilities. Beyond her work as a music creator, Powder’s DJing backs up her production style with many influences. As a selector, she has notably eclectic tastes, which run the gamut from house to no wave to Japanese synthpop, utilizing extended loops and subtle blends to create a genre-defying, transcendent experience.

Rifain’s sound is powered by an experimentalism that twists and turns through varied genres with a consistency that cloaks it in its own unique nature. Mei grew up near the vibrant megacity Chengdu in the lush Western China Sichuan Basin. At the age of 9, she began to learn the traditional Chinese Erhu, a genuinely mysterious folk instrument, two-stringed, played with a bow and made from carved wood and snakeskin, sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or the Chinese two-stringed fiddle. Inspired by her passion for the electronic music scene of Chengdu’s hyped underground, Mei started to fuse traditional Chinese folk music with minimalistic techno tunes.

Woonjii is a veteran crate digger based in Hong Kong. Shortly after debuting for Entropy_Disorder at 宀 Mihn Club in 2021, Woonjii continues to play hybrid DJ sets on digital and/or vinyl records for those seeking off-limit experience. Woonjii’s DJing journey began with club debut for Entropy Disorder at 宀 Club in 2021. Her experimental style has continuously attracted a group of followers who like to discover off-limit experiences on the untamed dance floor. She then quickly became the go-to DJ for adventurous organizers looking for edgier sounds. Woonjii has acquired rare collections of techno and experimental records, mostly released after 2000 after the record store she always hung out in an industrial building closed down in 2019-2020. While she spent past years sorting such rare items, she continues digging many up-and-coming dance floor grooves.

Yadin plays a jumble of spooky noise, wonky disco, voguey house, b-boy electro and loose-limbed techno from his favourite labels like Osare!, Discos Capablanca, Atrophy and more so if these words sound interesting to you there is a good chance that you will dance rather than stare.
