Eric Powell started DJing in Manchester, his hometown, in what was to become known as the Summer of Love. He went on to DJ at all of Manchester’s most important clubs including the world famous Hacienda. It was not long before Eric became one of the UKs most sought after guest DJs and in 1994 he took on residencies at the Zap Club in Brighton, at a night called Protection and the Red Club. Both these nights have won awards and much respect throughout the UK. Eric Powell owns and runs for Bush Records, one of the most recognisable and sought after dance labels in the world today.His techno set this March at The Greenwood in Sydney was said to be one of the best DJ sets ever delivered at that venue. Eric has a deep love of dance music and that come across in his passion for House and Techno. This summer Eric went viral featured on a clip from BBC’s and Pete Tong’s Essential Mix, 80,0000 views – so far.

Hailing from Milan, as a punter from the early ages of 16, Etwas got a taste for sound and scene, picking up his firstdrum machine and 17 and then took up DJing’ shortly after. In the decade that British-born producer, promoter and DJ Gav Whitehouse has called Melbourne home, he has become a driving force in shaping the city’s infamous electronic music scene, with his adopted home as is his inspiration and muse. Getting his hands on his first pair of turntables in the late 90s in the north of England, like most fledgling DJs, Gav first cut his teeth on harder styles. Always ready to go one better, DJing alone was not enough. His first ever event, Rotation which he ran for 4 years would eventually become the official afterparty for hard house juggernaut Goodgreef in Preston. He later packed up and imported the event, along with himself, to Melbourne.
