Jesse Calosso spent the early years of his life in the Bronx. The bustling streets would always brim with many musical forms, from hip hop to reggaeton, house to salsa. Endlessly diverse and rich with culture and colour, those early experiences made an indelible mark which means that today, Calosso is stylistically impossible to pin down. He can do Chicago tinged house, driving techno drums and everything in between, all tied together with his love of dangerously infectious basslines. 

This diversity of sound and an unrestricted approach in the studio has quickly lead Calosso to the top. Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Loco Dice is a house DJ/producer with minimal leanings who is affiliated with labels including Four:Twenty Recordings, Ovum Recordings, Cocoon Recordings, M_nus, and Cadenza, as well as the label he founded with production partner Martin Buttrich, Desolat. Born Yassine Ben Achour in Tunisia, he began his career in the early '90s as a rap MC/DJ named Dice'C. As such, he experienced some modest success in his German homeland, for instance releasing the 12" EP Coming from D-Town (1996) on Flavour Records and opening for big-name rap/R&B performers such as Snoop Dogg and Usher. In time he switched from rap to house music and changed his name to Loco Dice in the process. He in turn secured a residency at the Düsseldorf club Tribehouse, where he met superstar producer/DJ Timo Maas, who signed him to his Four:Twenty Recordings label. ~ AllMusic

Marco Carola is a global ambassador of techno. From Napoli in the south of Italy, Marco was instrumental in the development of the electronic scene in the early 90s, he took the flourishing techno Napolitano scene to the rest of the world. Over twenty years later and Marco is still one of the most respected artists amongst the techno scene, widely regarded as one of the key factors in driving the genre towards worldwide recognition within electronic music. DJ/producer Prunk is working at his own pace, but this doesn’t mean he’s taking things slow. His label PIV, which he started in 2015, has been steadily releasing EP’s, like his own production ‘Sexy Brasil’ that was released on the imprint in the spring of 2016. Together with his sparring partner Chris Stussy, Prunk released the ‘Material’ EP on EWax in the winter of 2016 and the two also released ‘The Machine’ EP that came out on the notorious Nervous Records and EP’s on Moulton and Innercity Records. These EP’s caught the attention of vocalist Alex Mills, who you can hear on Miguel Campbell’s hit Something Special. Prunk and Mills hooked up in the studio with No Cure as a result. After a decade promoting and being resident at one of Leeds’ finest underground parties, Ray Mono is now stepping out of the shadows. That party, Mono_Cult, was inspired by endless seasons in Ibiza, specifically the afterparty carry ons at DC10 and Cocoon. They gave him a fine understanding of what it takes to work a crowd at many different times in the day, and now armed with that knowledge he is serving up his own unique take on house and tech in booths across Europe.

As far back as the early '90s, Ricardo Villalobos began building an impressive discography of 12" releases on respected dance labels like Playhouse and Perlon, and around the turn of the decade he was one of the most revered producers and DJs in dance music. In his youth, the Chilean-born Villalobos moved with his family to Germany in order to avoid the military dictatorship of Pinochet, and he eventually fell in with the country's fertile house community. A minimalist at heart, he trotted the globe to study percussion in order to apply his knowledge to his productions, which almost always sound remarkably expansive despite their simplicity.
