Drawn to the futuristic soundscape, he and a friend bought their first set of belt-driven decks back in 1995 and this began a longstanding affair with techno. After annoying the neighbours for a couple of years, they decided to branch out and start annoying people at private parties and smaller venues, and annoy them they did. But, with practice and time came a more well-rounded sound; after which, he took a 5-year sabbatical from DJing and took his turn on the dance floors around the world. Al Burro is equally at home in industrial warehouses as in ambient pastures. He is a firm believer in variations on a common theme: It's about the mood not the genre. When next Al stopped travelling long enough to make owning musical equipment logistically possible, Al discovered a more mature sound. The Detroit Soul and Motown roots remained, but added to this was a drive for a more worldly sound and an appreciation of other forms of music including jazz, hip hop, swing, house and too many more to mention. Al cites as some of his influences: Gilles Peterson, Ninja Tunes, Mr Scruff, DJ Food, Jurassic 5, Radiohead, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Derrick May, UR and the list goes on.

A regular inside the DJ booth of Pawnshop, Taipei - Gemnital used to live in Berlin and study to be a sound artist. Gemnital, who grew up inthe 90s, embarked on a musical journey ranging fromHip-Hop and R&B to rock, jazz, experimental music,exploring the realms of psychedelic, funk, and disco. As time went on, he delved deeper into various genres but eventually circled back to Mandarin golden melodies. During his studies in Leipzig, Germany, he found himself immersed in underground warehouse parties held in ruins and forests. Later in Berlin, he discovered his true self in a multitude of clubs and queer parties, mastering the art of creating and maintaining energy and ambiance within different spaces. Now back in Taipei, he is a regular DJ at Pawnshop and a regular member of the popular queer party "Hakone Hotspring" and "Homepleasure". On the dance floor, he aims to play without boundaries, seamlessly blending familiar and unfamiliar tracks picked from his diverse musical experiences, creating an atmosphere of pure dancefloor bliss. Recently, he has been exploring the intersection of Techno and House, seeking speed and exhilaration from genres like Hardgroove, and strives to craft sets that take the listeners on a captivating journey with well-defined peaks and transitions. Beyond his DJ persona, Gemnital is deeply involved in sound research and the field of sound art. He is a university lecturer and critic in the realm of sound art, and his personal sound walks and installation works have been showcased at art festivals such as Berlin's 48 Stunden Neukölln.

With roots from Taiwan and Japan, Yoshi Nori cut his teeth as a DJ in Chicago around 2003. Not only was he heavily influenced by raw Chicago house sound, combination of minimal side of neo-Detroit, and renaissance of early 2000 post-punk movement shaped as foundation for his ever unpredictable DJ sets. Starting 2020 Yoshi Nori has launched a brand new label "禁 Jin". This project aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.

Jesse Chen is a fast rising talentuous Taiwanese Techno Dj. In the last years, he co- created P.A.B.P (Pleasure Always Bring Pain) with Sebastian Wu. Jesse is one of those who bring some freedom queerness, diversity and inclusivity in Taipei. ̸BIOGRAPHY Jing Lekker A pure creative, electronic live performer, Dj, composer and writer, European based, created in Taiwan. Discovering a passion for music from an early age whilst working in a jazz and classical music store in Taipei and collaborating on the LVI exhibition organised to raise awareness of vinyl alongside Jing Lekker's studies in graphic printing. In order to pursue her curiosity of music Jing Lekker realised she would have to leave her homeland and relocate to Europe. Following her life's natural path Jing Lekker cemented foundations through encounters along the way, shortly after arriving in Berlin Jing Lekker formed an electronic dream pop band "Polygothica" with close friend Dilijana. Jing Lekker is also part of the performance collective UNDO alongside Bifi Boy, Birds and Tapes, Dj Nytanata, Otto Oscar Hernandez Ruiz and visual artist Christian Starz, creating environments in various cities to host UNDO's experiments whilst also pursuing her solo music path which may be better described as a presenter of sound rather than being labelled a Dj or live performer. Active in the music and fashion business for more than a decade, Simone de Kunovich is associated with some of Milan’s most iconic parties and clubs. His eclectic selection and unconventional taste made him one of the key figures in the local scene as well as an active Dj internationally, with gigs in Berlin, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, New York, Paris, London and more. The upcoming year is gonna see him releasing a series of EPs inspired by his studies of 60/70s European cinema on Superconscious Records, the Australian label managed by Fantastic Man and Francis Inferno Orchestra.

Bézier’s productions walk the line between soft and hard, emotive and gritty. From their early interest in braindance and IDM, Bézier’s influences are wide-ranging, resulting in music that is as carefree as it is relentless. California-bred Robert Yang (they/he), also known as Bézier, is an American DJ and producer. While best known for being one of the earliest members of the queer San Francisco musical collective Honey Soundsystem, Yang also produces under multiple aliases and heads three blooming labels, Bodyzone, m-i-v (short for mémoire involontaire), and his most recent endeavor, Piece of Work. Bézier cut his teeth in the San Francisco scene for a decade, and now toggles between Berlin and SF, where he continues to expand his sound and vision into a cohesive yet dynamic mosaic. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT and Nowadays, Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Tresor, About Blank, Output, Griessmuehle, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout and Sustain-Release have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. Fiedel limitlessly undermines & overrides expectations. He's no average techno or house DJ. His sets build something new, while capturing the moment. Whether straight techno, banging 80's acid or electro funk: he always surprises. Contrast. Objection. Antithesis. This is how you might start an attempt to describe the world. A seemingly chaos of shapes and thoughts that don't belong to each other. An overall image to be found in life and in music. But that's not how Fiedel views things. Where others make distinctions, he sees connections, where others find emptiness, he finds rooms full of opportunities. Finding those harmonies, connections and contexts marks out his musical work. The synthesis of apparently opposing music, the interaction and the mix of styles and moods, without loosing the storyline, that makes out the characteristic Fiedel sound. Born and raised in Brandenburg, he finds access to the music through various artists and styles in the mid 1980s. He was influenced by artists of the old school hip hop like Mantronix and Egyptian Lover and the early works of Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. A very important influence was Monika Dietl’s radio show at Radio 4U in West-Berlin. Her show aroused the fascination and the longing for musical freedom and diversity, that was not possible in former Eastern Germany. Those impressions gave him a first feeling, a first vision of what should become alive later on. After the wall came down, the way was open to access a fresh scene, and with it came a whole spectrum of new and old music to discover. In the beginning of the 1990s, he started DJing in public as a regular at the Monday events at Subversiv. Shortly after he began his collaboration with his befriended Errorsmith under the name of MMM. They released several productions and play live shows. Since 2000 he is resident at OstGut and later on at Berghain. On the compilation Fünf he had his first solo release on the incorporated Ostgut Ton label, followed by contributions to the compilations Various (2013) and Ostgut Ton | Zehn (2015). In 2012 he eventually founded his own label Fiedelone, to give his own productions a more personal base. In spring 2014 he developed a live set, which he premiered at Berghain. March 2017 saw his first full Ostgut Ton release with the 12" Substance B, followed up by his contribution to the Berghain mixes series in January 2018.

̸BIOGRAPHY Montreal's Maara continues to make a splash for herself in the international dance music scene with her productions and mixes. Hailing from Montreal, Maara has made her mark on the dance music scene since her 2021 breakout EP 'Ultimate Reward' on NAFF recordings. Maara has continued to build a name for herself, releasing her subsequent EP on Sonido Isla 'Potion Activated', which features 'The Forbidden Plum', nominated for Best Song of 2021 by Resident Advisor. Her most recent release on Radiant Love 'Goddess Within' celebrates queerness with its hot, euphoric energy. In addition to her solo releases, Maara has contributed to various international compilations and continues to bless the scene by bringing a playful atmosphere to dance floor bangers. Her mixes and DJ sets cover high energy progressive, trance, electro, break beat lit energy.

Mama Snake first garnered attention as a DJ as part of Copenhagen's now-disbanded Apeiron Crew. She entered the techno scene with a fully formed sound: rattlesnake beats and emotional synths tied together by imperceptible mixing. Her watertight online mixes quickly earned her a following, and she's now busy balancing her life as a touring techno DJ with her job as a recently qualified surgeon.

Unrestrained by genre or tempo limitations he shifts gears between hypnotic slowmotion and breakneck 90’s rave so nimbly it induces an unexplained cerebral high. His sound has a rawness to it, shaped by years spent in the gabber scene and as a junglist in and around his terrestrial hometown Delft. Snake charmer born and located in Thailand with Indian and Japanese roots. Co-founder of Siamese Twins record label focusing on psychedelic sounds rooted in Asia. Co-runs the Karma Klique collective known for raves at obscure locations. As a producer, he released on imprints such as 禁 JIN, Ute and Siamese Twins under his own name, Mogambo and Khun Fluff aliases. As well as periodic ambient albums on his own Extans Mantra imprint. Which led to sought-after collaborations with Full Circle, Yu Su, S.O.N.S, Marc Pinol, and Benedikt Frey. A household name across the region for over a decade playing spaced-out music in forests, warehouses, and castles.

Sunsiaré, birthed Jean-François Amadei, is no new face to the East-Asia scene. A figure whose tastes have manifested themselves by way of the Hanoi based Savage Club - whose early days saw a slew of talent pass through the Vietnamese capital and prompted a resurgence of local electronic artists. JF is a natural-born record digger, whose knowledge of what makes a dance floor move goes beyond the last decade and whose diverse collection begs for sonic exploration. Playing alongside such artists as Berghain’s Roi Perez, Boris & Barker, as well as DJ heavyweights like Gonno and Cormac, Amadei is not unfamiliar to the art of the mix. JF, whose hands are also behind the Homesick, FGHB, and the newly launched labels 宀, gave way to creative minds like Powder, Mr. Ho, Marquis Hawkes, General Ludd, and LPZ. Both labels, whose outlets were dedicated to timeless reworks, can be seen riddled with Jf’s influences. New pastures have led Jean-Francois to the recently minted Hong Kong-based 宀 club in 2018, in which he holds the utmost weight of talent buying for the club's weekly programming of European imports, as well as local Hong Kongese as well as regional artists and DJs alike. A pillar for Hong Kong underground nightlife and a staple for any debaucherous dancer seeking audial refuge while in the city, 宀 has quickly become a backbone to an ever-blossoming dance floor community flourishing out of Asia and away from the Euro-centric grip of Dance Music’s recent past.
