Claptone is a German DJ and producer duo which specializes in house and tech house genres. They are recognizable by their plague doctor-style golden mask, which serves to intrigue the public as well as keeping their identity hidden. Claptone first surfaced in 2011 with a series of digital singles on Shir Khan's Exploited label. These tracks were generally built around recognizable samples, such as a cover of "Light My Fire" or the haunting melody from Wu-Tang Clan's "C.R.E.A.M." Claptone soon became highly prolific as a remixer, with clients including house producers George Morel and Riva Starr as well as pop groups such as the Pet Shop Boys.

Paul Fisher, otherwise known as Fisher, is an Australian music producer born in Australia in November 1986. Fisher's musical genres include house and tech house. Before his music career he was a professional surfer. Fisher started out as one half of the DJ duo Cut Snake with surfer Leigh "Sedz" Sedley. The duo formed in 2012 and released the EP's Life's a Beach in 2015, Magic in 2016, and Action Burger in 2016. Paul Fisher released the single "Losing It" in 2018 which reached #26 in Belgium, #35 in Australia, and #60 in Ireland and in the UK. The song also reached #1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart. His single "You Little Beauty" was released in 2019 and reached #41 in Australia.
