A regular inside the DJ booth of Pawnshop, Taipei - Gemnital used to live in Berlin and study to be a sound artist. Gemnital, who grew up inthe 90s, embarked on a musical journey ranging fromHip-Hop and R&B to rock, jazz, experimental music,exploring the realms of psychedelic, funk, and disco. As time went on, he delved deeper into various genres but eventually circled back to Mandarin golden melodies. During his studies in Leipzig, Germany, he found himself immersed in underground warehouse parties held in ruins and forests. Later in Berlin, he discovered his true self in a multitude of clubs and queer parties, mastering the art of creating and maintaining energy and ambiance within different spaces. Now back in Taipei, he is a regular DJ at Pawnshop and a regular member of the popular queer party "Hakone Hotspring" and "Homepleasure". On the dance floor, he aims to play without boundaries, seamlessly blending familiar and unfamiliar tracks picked from his diverse musical experiences, creating an atmosphere of pure dancefloor bliss. Recently, he has been exploring the intersection of Techno and House, seeking speed and exhilaration from genres like Hardgroove, and strives to craft sets that take the listeners on a captivating journey with well-defined peaks and transitions. Beyond his DJ persona, Gemnital is deeply involved in sound research and the field of sound art. He is a university lecturer and critic in the realm of sound art, and his personal sound walks and installation works have been showcased at art festivals such as Berlin's 48 Stunden Neukölln.

̸BIOGRAPHY TOSKA is the DJ pseudonym for Ting-Wei Hsu and roughly translates to “a vague restlessness, mental throes, yearning”… Twelve years ago, TOSKA began his relationship with underground electronic music. At that time, he embraced a wide variety of genres, including drum & bass, tribal, breakbeat and other forms of experimental music such as, ambient, dark techno, dub techno, industrial, and minimal. In 2014, TOSKA began performing at Taipei’s KORNER. In 2015, he was appointed as one of KORNER’s resident DJs, and has guest DJed in Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hangzhou and SMOKE MACHINE’s 2018 Organik Festival in Hualian.

Al Burro (London) first got interested in electronica back in 1994 when he first heard Jeff Mills’ Transmission 1. Drawn to the futuristic soundscape, he and a friend bought their first set of belt-driven decks back in 1995 and this began a longstanding affair with techno. After annoying the neighbours for a couple of years, they decided to branch out and start annoying people at private parties and smaller venues, and annoy them they did. But, with practice and time came a more well-rounded sound; after which, he took a 5-year sabbatical from DJing and took his turn on the dance floors around the world. Al Burro is equally at home in industrial warehouses as in ambient pastures. He is a firm believer in variations on a common theme: It's about the mood not the genre. Grace Dahl is a Techno DJ and producer from Amsterdam with a mixed heritage of Finnish and Hungarian descent. The Vault Sessions resident plays a refined selection of styles, with a focus on hypnotic yet powerful Techno that showcases dominant percussion and draws inspiration from both old school and hard groove influences. Her deep-rooted love and passion for music can be traced back to her parents, who organised electronic music events in Budapest during the 90s. Influenced by her parents' musically driven upbringing, she ambitiously embarked on her career when she was a mere 18 years young. Fast forward to present day, Grace is currently at the forefront of the thriving scene in The Netherlands and is swiftly accelerating within international circuit. She has been showcasing her craft at various renowned events around Europe with a jam packed 2023 schedule, playing at the likes of Awakenings, Vault Sessions, FUSE, Sziget Festival, RSO, Rotterdam Rave, Soenda Festival, Intercell and By the Creek, among others. It didn’t take her long to take the next step within her career as she head towards her journey into production four years ago, which rapidly led to her track “Vermilion Empire” being released on Amelie Lens’ label, EXHALE in 2020 and her latest tracks being released on Voxnox, Deestricted, IMF and ANTIDOTE. Venezuelan born Berlin based Hyperaktivist it's been shaking the scene in and outside Berlin with her characteristic energetic sets, oscillating between faster Techno and House with big influence in the 90's and old school tracks. She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age. There, she co-founded SOLO, the first club dedicated exclusively to electronic music in her hometown. Now she continues that labor in Berlin with not one but two vital community-focused club nights. Her first called Mess, Mindful Electronic Sonic Selections, a forward thinking club night happening at OHM which have a focus on femme and queer artist from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it's dedicated to the celebration of diversity and supporting DIY club culture around the world. Her newest Mala Junta, which she co-founded along with Dj Tool and that counts with D.dan, Yazzus and Why Be as residents, is considered one of Berlin’s fiercest underground queer-techno parties, with a focus on inclusivity, Mala Junta approaches the faster, groovier edges of dance music with an open mind and a relentless spirit. Hyperaktivist have directly influenced a shift in the scene in Berlin, not only through introducing her Tribal euphoric fresh sounds, with great influence in her roots from Latin America and the Caribbean coast where she grew up, but also by constantly nurturing and pushing up her community and advocating political values of equality & diversity at the forefront of her projects. Active in the music and fashion business for more than a decade, Simone de Kunovich is associated with some of Milan’s most iconic parties and clubs. His eclectic selection and unconventional taste made him one of the key figures in the local scene as well as an active Dj internationally, with gigs in Berlin, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, New York, Paris, London and more. The upcoming year is gonna see him releasing a series of EPs inspired by his studies of 60/70s European cinema on Superconscious Records, the Australian label managed by Fantastic Man and Francis Inferno Orchestra.

Snake charmer born and located in Thailand with Indian and Japanese roots. Co-founder of Siamese Twins record label focusing on psychedelic sounds rooted in Asia. Co-runs the Karma Klique collective known for raves at obscure locations. As a producer, he released on imprints such as 禁 JIN, Ute and Siamese Twins under his own name, Mogambo and Khun Fluff aliases. As well as periodic ambient albums on his own Extans Mantra imprint. Which led to sought-after collaborations with Full Circle, Yu Su, S.O.N.S, Marc Pinol, and Benedikt Frey. A household name across the region for over a decade playing spaced-out music in forests, warehouses, and castles.

Originally from Hawaii & Taiwan, now Brooklyn based DJ/producer Timo Lee. She plays regularly in NYC, the curator of all vinyl sessions at Good Bar & label boss of Chomp! Chomp! Her style is eclectic to keep your finger tapping & head bobbing. Timo Lee emerged her background in Honolulu and Taipei. From early childhood, Timo has kept her ear to the speaker, fingers tapping to the rhythm. A child of the 90’s, she was weaned on rave culture’s pulsing electronic beats. As the 2000’s progressed, her tastes evolved as she embraced underground disco, house, electronica. Timo hosted a weekly three-hour radio show for 8 years on KTUH Honolulu, and played with numerous talented DJs including DJ Harvey, Bonobo, James Murphy, Thomas Bullock, DJ Garth, Tiger and Woods, Daniele Baldelli, Tim Sweeney and more at thirtyninehotel. She was the booker for the club for 6 years and very involved with shaping the local dance scene in Hawaii for the past decade. Timo relocated to Brooklyn NY in 2014, flying back and forth from NYC to Honolulu for her bar, Bevy, a popular nightspot in Kaka’ako. She is spending most of her time here in NYC, playing regularly at Good Room, The Lot Radio and numerous nightclubs in the city. She is a long-standing member in the Brooklyn dance music community and is the curator behind "Wax the Van" - a weekly all vinyl listening session at Good Bar, also label boss of Chomp! Chomp! Records featuring various artists with underground dance music since 2020. This year marks 20 years of Timo’s DJ and music journey, her set is eclectic and diverse with a blend of different genres to keep you finger tapping and head bobbing, like she always says “Music needs to make you feel something within, there is no limitation on how and what you can do with it.”

UFO95 is an electronic music artist only performing live. In search of unknown sounds, UFO95 travels through different worlds and different eras. He finds his inspiration in the psychedelic rock from the 60s and 70s, and in the techno scene from the 90s or even the IDM scene, such as Aphex Twin... He also draws from the jungle and experimental scenes to propel a hypnotic, alienating and decidedly unique sound. Recently back in France, he confined himself out into the country side during the spring of 2020 and fired up UFO95, an Unidentified Fabulous Object of music. With roots from Taiwan and Japan, Yoshi Nori cut his teeth as a DJ in Chicago around 2003. Not only was he heavily influenced by raw Chicago house sound, combination of minimal side of neo-Detroit, and renaissance of early 2000 post-punk movement shaped as foundation for his ever unpredictable DJ sets. Starting 2020 Yoshi Nori has launched a brand new label "禁 Jin". This project aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.
