Arthur Bray is one of the Hong Kong/Shanghai/London-based collective Yeti Out, the 30-year-old has worn plenty of hats – model, DJ, editor… the list goes on. This flexibility is something he’s emphasised for Yeti Out, which started as a party-promoting music collective that has now branched out into everything from art shows, a record label and a creative agency. And of course, more parties. Well-known DJs on the Hong Kong and Shanghai party circuit, Arthur and his twin brother Tom are pushing the envelope for underground music in Asia. They’re helping genres such as grime, garage, Afrobeat, bass music, house and techno gain momentum in a city that’s probably better known for its EDM or pop-filled nightclubs than anything else. Right now, they’re setting their sights on local events such as Sonar and Art Basel in March, while concurrently working on an audiovisual set for their record label, Silk Road Sounds. Sunsiaré, birthed Jean-François Amadei, is no new face to the East-Asia scene. A figure whose tastes have manifested themselves by way of the Hanoi based Savage Club - whose early days saw a slew of talent pass through the Vietnamese capital and prompted a resurgence of local electronic artists. Ani Phoebe is a DJ from NYC who is currently based in Hong Kong by way of Rio de Janeiro. She founded Bad Times Disco, an online record shop in Hong Kong, and runs a monthly show called Parallel Worlds on The Lot Radio. She comes from digging tradition and favors lesser-known 80s and 90s records from unexpected corners and crates. One of Ani Phoebe’s areas of experience is the downtempo, cosmic disco, and synth-pop realms, being a resident DJ of the renowned underground music festival Cosmic Gathering (DE) and having performed at experimental stages on Nation of Gondwana (DE) and Atlas Electronic (MR). At the same time, her breadth also extends to heavy dancefloors and electronic clubs, performing sets that expand on 90s progressive house to 2000s Eurodance, digging for rare versions of nostalgic numbers. Weaving through all her sets are emotional, often female vocals, and synthesized sounds in all of their diversity and power. A strong emerging DJ on the global scene, Ani Phoebe has recently toured Brazil, the US, and Europe in 2022.

Born and raised in Hong Kong,Arun has been in love with house music since his early teenage years, probably brought about from listening to his dad's collection of disco and all sorts of retro bits from his impeccable record collection. DJ Fu has played in many cities across the globe including London, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Manchester in world class venues such at Matter, Ministry of Sound, The End as well as at various promotions including Marky and Friends, Mixmag, Metropolis, Urban Nerds, Ape, One Nation. Fu is one of the few Drum & Bass DJ’s of recent times who has managed to be recognised purely for his talent on the decks. After winning a DJ competition for Source, DJ Fu won a residency at Oxford’s most prestigious drum and bass night, following in the footsteps of Total Science, Baron and DJ Lee who have all held residencies there.

As the co-founder and 1 of the 2 main sourcers for Bad Times Disco, he curates rare Asian groove records, dance singles, and only understands pure quality. Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. Having been a drummer and member of a local band in his formative years, he eventually sought refuge in electronic music; cultivating a sound that can best be described as fluid, and with an emphasis on the hypnotic spectrum of techno. He perceives sets as flowing journeys, which requires time, and an element of patience to achieve. His music project - Cipher, is a metaphor for his musical direction and vision – 'experiencing' parties that verge on the ritualistic, to which point they have been described as otherworldly. Artists both locally and internationally continue to be invited to express their various forms of deep, experimental and meditative sounds.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, JFÜNG started his journey in electronic music & djing in 2014, and after years of traveling around and exploring music selection & production, the underground scenes & music festivals from multiple cities like Los Angeles, Taipei, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and more deeply influenced him. In the summer of 2021, JFÜNG curated DARK METAZ, an audio-visual-journey experience. This underground bass-music rave collective showcases talents with their darker sounds and visuals, including a resident radio show on FMBelowground. JFÜNG is obsessed with deep, dark, bass-heavy rhythms, and his live sets always take the listener on a journey of electronic music. Joe Delon is a DJ, label owner, radio host, and writer based in Lisbon. Joe’s sets draw on the fundamentals of dance music’s past – the snap of a disco break, the sleaze of a Chicago bassline, the funk of electro, and the bittersweet touch of Italo – and connect them to its vivid present, creating moments of pure pop catharsis along the way. Licaxxx is a DJ and music producer. Having made her DJ-ing debut in 2010, she appeared at Boiler Room’s Tokyo event in 2016 before going on to perform at Fuji Rock and a host of European nightclub events. Licaxxx is also the organiser of TCR (Tokyo Community Radio), a video stream radio station inspired by Gilles Peterson and featuring the best of the city’s DJ talent.

Hailing from Montreal, Maara has made her mark on the dance music scene since her 2021 breakout EP 'Ultimate Reward' on NAFF recordings. Maara has continued to build a name for herself, releasing her subsequent EP on Sonido Isla 'Potion Activated', which features 'The Forbidden Plum', nominated for Best Song of 2021 by Resident Advisor. Her most recent release on Radiant Love 'Goddess Within' celebrates queerness with its hot, euphoric energy. In addition to her solo releases, Maara has contributed to various international compilations and continues to bless the scene by bringing a playful atmosphere to dance floor bangers. Her mixes and DJ sets cover high energy progressive, trance, electro, break beat lit energy.

Known for his vigorous techno sets, Marco’s DJ repertoire also includes house, minimal, and electro. Besides, he produces with modular synthesizers and plays modular live sets. As a co-founder of the established collective, Utopia Hong Kong, Marco and his teammates have successfully nurtured the city’s ever-evolving electronic music scene through an array of parties in Hong Kong and across Asia. In the meantime, Marco has been promoting heavier techno sounds through his event series concept TRI. Featuring deep and experimental sounds, TRI assembles a series of raves verging on the edge, exploring the possibility of contemporary techno. Marco has been DJing at various electronic music clubs including Mihn, Oma, and Social Room (Hong Kong), Oil (Shenzhen), Lantern (Beijing), Savage (Hanoi), Beton Brut (Korea) as well as music festivals like Sonar, Wonderfruit, Shi Fu Miz – Boiler Room and among others.

Crazed rhythms & sonic adventures. Mary Lake, an artist for whom expression and eclecticism is vital. With an international upbringing in Algeria, France and The Netherlands, she seeks a voice through her music, translating inner dynamics in both club and exploratory settings, towards a signature of frenetic yet inviting sets. As a club DJ, Mary serves unorthodox techno, electro and left-field electronics, while always and foremost persuading the crowd to dance. Starting her DJ career through London’s underground scene and NTS activities, she quickly became a familiar face in Amsterdam when returning in 2017, playing at events like Dekmantel and Lowlands festival. Berlin-based, Melbourne DJ Merve is full of gurgly synths and boinging rhythms, touching on old-school techno and trance with a decidedly modern approach.

Under alias MLCH hides Florian Mélinette, co-founder of FuFu and Hong Kong based Dj. Music lover from his boyhood, this french guy spend most of his time digging in order to drop the secret weapons and classics, switching from Chicago House to Deep atmosphere without forgetting some funky/disco tunes. He play with passion and a desire to get a whole club bouncing. He already played alongside international artists such as Move D, Jayda G, Christopher Rau, Pablo Valentino, Trus'me, Soichi Terada, Jus-Ed, Lay-Far, Crackazat, Sameed,... His favorite expression: " When the drummers change their beats, the dancers must also change their steps."

Mogwaa is one of South Korea's shining stars. A producer with a vast repertoire of styles under his belt, he takes rhythmic cues from a wide palette, including jazz-funk, Latin percussion and dreamwave. His debut release on Peggy Gou's label, for instance, featured funky electro and sparkling Balearic house fit for Ibiza sunsets.

Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his unique style of blending techno, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility of enjoying the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-minded and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more. He has also performed at a renowned experimental venue in Tokyo, KGR Tokyo, and has contributed a podcast mix to C-Kay’s Coma Hole series.

PINK PANDA have established themselves as a go to remixer and solid production outfit with a set of healthy international bookings and the incredible accolade of being No. 82 in 2020's DJ Mag Top 100. Enjoying global radio support of their music, the Pandas have remixed for chart toppers such as David Guetta, P!nk, Anne-Marie & Bruno Mars with their well respected and club ready sound proving popular. Their remix of Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s hit record ‘Finesse’ in particular enjoyed a five-week stint as No.1 in the Beatport Dance chart. Over the years they have found homes for their original productions with dance music juggernauts Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music, gaining radio play and millions of streams for each release. Live shows continue to be booked extensively on a global scale, with a full year-round Greater China calendar, regular international gigs in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and India, as well as a healthy European presence including the U.K.

SAM Futura spent the last decade shaping the sounds and scenes of South East Asia. Born in France, Sam moved to Hong Kong in 2014 where he helped build the community from the ground up through his collective and booking agency Cliché Records. Along with three friends, Sam diversified and expanded HK’s underground, bringing fresh sounds to the city and the region. In 2018 Sam moved to Hanoi, Vietnam, where he opened the legendary nightclub Savage and handled the artistic direction. The venue didn’t just shape the sound of Hanoi’s underground but acted as a playground for Sam to explore his sonic edges and an outlet for this discrete artist to experiment in intimate settings. Sam’s endlessly inspired by the artists he’s crossed paths with, his experiences playing alongside Roman Flügel, Gonno and nd_baumecker had a major impact on him and continue to inspire him today. SAM Futura mixes are sonic explorations of 90s house, rave nostalgia, and timeless energizing soul. Music is an outlet for this introspective artist to connect and communicate with listeners while sharing his mysterious and hedonistic side. Sam FUTURA’s played many powerhouse venues in the region - Zhao Dai in Beijing, Pawnshop in Taipei, The Observatory in Saigon as well as local festivals Equation, Karma Konkrete, and Sónar Hong Kong. In 2021 SAM Futura moved back to the Fragrant Harbour to share his love and years of experience of underground culture with 宀 club. .

̸BIOGRAPHY Co-Founder of More Rice Records, a record label focussed on giving exposure to Asian artists all over the world. Entering its fifth year More Rice has become one of the key names in South East Asian Underground Dance Music. As a DJ and Producer Sarayu is considered as an integral player in Bangkok’s growing underground house and techno scene. His UK driven sound has taken all over the world playing venues and festivals such as Zukunft, Silbergold, Village Underground, Fabric and Feel Festival. He can be seen playing regularly at some of Bangkok’s key parties and venues such as Never Normal, De Commune, Karma, Transport and Wonderfruit Festival. Under quarantine in 2020 Sarayu released his first track on a VA compilation “Harvest Vol. 1”, under his own imprint. In 2021 he released his debut EP “Pridi 303” again, on More Rice, remixed by MR. Ho. As well as, opening More Rice Record Store, a hotspot for music lovers and vinyl diggers all over the world and launching Bangkok Community Radio. Early 2023 Sarayu released his latestl EP “Intelligent Jump Rope Music” scheduled for release on Boiled Wonderland Records, keep an eye out for more remixes and releases over the course of this year.

TAKU HIRAYAMA (Junktion) Taku Hirayama, or simply known as Taku, is a Japanese DJ based in Asia. Exploring DJing at the turn of this century, Taku cultivated a wide range of music selection with many chances of musical meeting across the globe in past years. Leaving the shores of southern Japan, Taku relocated himself from Fukuoka to Hong Kong over a decade ago. There he launched his own platform "Junktion”. A venture for inviting credible names in the industry and like-minded artists, also exposing hidden talents to global audience.

Co-Founder & Resident DJ at Ice Cream Sundays Hailing from Manila, Toppings (Jake Camacho) is best known for his work as co-founder, resident DJ, and core team member of Singapore-based party collective, Ice Cream Sundays. A lifelong student of music history, his exposure to diverse musical styles and traditions shines through in his eclectic approach to DJing. Rooted in deep, soulful, and psychedelic house infused with jazz, disco, funk, balearic, and afrobeat, each of his sets delivers a tasty blend of percussive grooves, playful experimentation, and—at times—pure, uncut optimism. Equally at home in a beachside booth, an intimate dark room, or playing to large, sweaty crowds, he has plied his trade at clubs and music-focused venues all over the city, including Headquarters, TUFF CLUB, CÉ LA VI, Kilo, Offtrack, Tanjong Beach Club, and Potato Head, to name a few. He has built a reputation for tasteful and versatile selection along the way, so it's no surprise he has been called on to support high-caliber acts like AlunaGeorge, Henrik Schwarz, Chaos In The CBD, Soul Clap, Jasper James, Tornado Wallace, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Floyd Lavine, Lowheads, and Bosq. He has also been invited to play at some of Singapore's largest events, representing the Ice Cream Sundays crew at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, Neon Lights Festival, Garden Beats Festival, and IMI Festival. As a DJ/promoter, Toppings co-founded Ice Cream Sundays in 2016. Over the years, the collective has become a fixture in the local nightlife circuit, throwing some of Singapore's most memorable and sought after pop-up parties. They have sold out shows wherever they spring up—whether it's a 1920s theme park, a green enclave, or a stark industrial space—while collaborating with likeminded local and regional powerhouses such as Darker Than Wax, Shi Fu Miz, and Rainbow Disco Club. YONG YING is a Hong Kong-based techno dj who got on the decks in 2020 and has since obtained a reputation for playing dark, heavy and fast-paced hypnotic sound that liberates the mind. She also takes pleasure in presenting obscure and niche sonics to her audience. She aims to bring new, unusual sounds to the world, because she sees music as a important outlet amidst the mundanity of daily life. From Eaton Radio to Social Room to Mihn Club, the name YONG YING is steadily making its mark in Hong Kong's subversive scene.

Through his raves organised in warehouses, beaches and abandoned bunkers, Yunus is part of a generation of DJs and producers trained in Hong Kong. Based between Amsterdam & Hong Kong, co-founder of Transarctica label, Yunus has extensive experience with decks in all its formats. Following the label’s core mission to discover new sounds, linking a broad musical spectrum and a boundless vision of a cleverly mixed genre, ranging from bass UK, jungle, and Trance influence to “Balearics” rarities, his DJ sets blend into a distinct and eclectic selection. His production workflow is a balance between dance floor-relevant bass sound with experimental ways of making music, such as creative coding or generative art. With an alternative approach to DJing culture, resident DJ and A/V artist for different festivals, clubs, and sound systems, Yunus now focuses on developing Transarctica label. Yunus is also associated with Raito, an esteemed audiovisual design studio. Through Raito Studio, he has contributed to notable projects such as Waking Life, Dekmantel, and DGTL, creating immersive and visually stunning experiences that merge music, art, and technology.
