Sunsiaré, birthed Jean-François Amadei, is no new face to the East-#Asia scene. Playing alongside such artists as #Berghain’s Roi Perez, Boris & Barker, as well as DJ heavyweights like Gonno (JP) and Cormac, Amadei is not unfamiliar to the art of the mix. JF, whose hands are also behind the Homesick and FGHB labels, gave way to creative minds like Powder, Mr. Ho, Marquis Hawkes, General Ludd and LPZ. Both labels, whose outlets were dedicated to timeless reworks, can be seen riddled with Jf’s own influences.

DJ Misty Penguin started life when transwoman Beatrice sneaked inside the DJ booth of local underground mecca Acadana and fondled the decks. Her isolated presence as a trans person allowed her time to immerse herself into endless genres of music. Misty Penguin plays around with the Yin and the Yang in her, her sunny outlook and life attitude pushed her to become 'Yang' Misty, playing sensual positive grooves to jack your body and has DJed for opening and closing parties at Eaton HK and 宀 Gallery. Only when she relapse into 'Yin' Misty will she occasionally play an intense set at local techno stronghold OMA or others,

Under alias MLCH hides Florian Mélinette, co-founder of FuFu and Hong Kong based Dj. Music lover from his boyhood, this french guy spend most of his time digging in order to drop the secret weapons and classics, switching from Chicago House to Deep atmosphere without forgetting some funky/disco tunes. He play with passion and a desire to get a whole club bouncing. He already played alongside international artists such as Move D, Jayda G, Christopher Rau, Pablo Valentino, Trus'me, Soichi Terada, Jus-Ed, Lay-Far, Crackazat, Sameed,... His favorite expression: " When the drummers change their beats, the dancers must also change their steps."

Robert Yang is one of the original members of Honey Soundsystem and has released various records on Josh Cheon's Dark Entries label and Honey Soundsystem's flagship label. Over the course of the last few years, he has been perfecting live music performances. A multi-instrumentalist, Robert was trained in saxophone starting at age 10, before moving onto a Fender Telecaster after high school. After being exposed to Southern California rave culture in the late 90s, he moved onto DJing and collecting records. By the time he planted his roots in San Francisco in 2005, Robert had built an impressive analogue synth-based studio, which also serves as the creative hub for his riveting live performances.

Guido Balboa starts his music journey in Hong Kong. His style is highly influences by his roots that are based in the country of the Dolce Vita. As he is slowly introducing himself in the Hong Kong scene he is discovering everyday something more about the well known and the forgotten artists of his native country making his mission always more clear: Make Italo Disco Great Again.

Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his own unique style of blending techno, industrial and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility to enjoy the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-mined and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together, and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club, and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more. He has also performed at a renowned experimental venue in Tokyo, KGR Tokyo, and has contributed a podcast mix to C-Kay’s Coma Hole series.

One of Belgium’s most acclaimed DJ, Nosedrip from Ostend. As a Dj, Nosedrip sets moods like no-one else and leaves dancefloors gasping for breath everywhere he goes. An amazing selector who has been regularly playing all over Europe with a remarked appearance at Dekmantel festival last year. In the space of just a few years, Nosedrip made a name for himself with the persistence and focus of a kid that wants to prove all his bullies wrong. From running a regular ambient show on his Mixcloud-page, which has a staggering 30.000+ followers, he went on to launch Stroom.tv. The platform caused quite some waves in the online radio community because of its unique mixture of oddball playlists and distinctive aesthetics. In 2016, his radio show moved to NTS and Stroom.tv turned into a record label focusing on heritage, with Ziggy spitting out killer archival releases from the likes of Alain Neffe, Jan Van den broeke, Vazz and Latvian avant-gardists NSRD.

Some artists fully deserve their hype and Powder is definitely one of them. Momoko "Moko" Goto, better known in the DJ world as Powder, has successfully taken her neon charged creations out of the Tokyo underground and into the discerning worldwide house & techno public. After her debut on Lovefingers’ ESP Institute, Powder’s cosmic rhythms found a home on Samo DJ’s Born Free & Discodromo’s CockTail d’Amore Music, pushing her tribal-inspired, hypnotic sound further into a surreal house, techno and psychedelic disco territory. She recently ushered in a brand new mix series for Beats in Space, a further testament to her DJ skills and sensibilities. Beyond her work as a music creator, Powder’s DJing backs up her production style with many influences. As a selector, she has notably eclectic tastes, which run the gamut from house to no wave to Japanese synthpop, utilizing extended loops and subtle blends to create a genre-defying, transcendent experience.

Sharif Laffrey has been playing records and making music for 25 Long Hard years. Born in Detroit, Michigan - he's worked on the line checking camshafts for Chryslers & at Submerge for Mike Banks, (at the same time). Currently releasing music on his own label SPECIAL FORCES. Recent releases on ESP Institute, Discos Capablanca & Love on The Rocks.

Shhhhh is the excavation activity of traditional / world music and the redefinition of “world music”. He’s known to plays unknown and obscure tribal & traditional music blended with brand-new techno. Shhhhh has played in all majors festivals and underground parties in Asia and is a regular of Dommune (The Japanese Boiler Room).

Spacejams is Yohann Jamsandekar, who cut his teeth mixing music as part of Mumbai's infamous, long-running party crew Bhavishyavani. A current resident DJ for the Milkman party series which has seen him open for the likes of Optimo, Helena hauff and Stingray this year. His wide-ranging selections and mercurial mixing style lead to raucous, high-energy sets that can be relied on to ignite the dancefloor. To anyone familiar with his jacked-up taste in music this should come as little surprise. He could make you breakdance, brain dance or just end up giving you a good old fashioned body massage.

Growing up in New York, Stephen began his relationship with music playing ten years of jazz and classical trumpet, while enjoying a love for hip-hop on the side. After four years studying in Montreal discovering electronic and house music, Stephen made a move to Hong Kong. At home he started messing around with vinyl, and soon joined Cliché Records under the name Sweet Talk. Moving across many styles from house to ambient to disco to techno, Stephen brings his full energy every time to make the people boogie.

Teng has been playing music across a multitude of dance scenes originating in Australia across to Singapore and Hong Kong where he is now based. Teng’s ascent into the pantheon of Dj’s began in the underground rave scene of 90’s Sydney Australia. He has been drawing influences far and wide ever since, delving into various dance genres - digesting these diverse sounds and pushing them back to dance floors with his signature mixing style. Continually searching for the next sound, Teng still scours genres from around the world, adding uniqueness to his leviathan repertoire.

Yadin plays a jumble of spooky noise, wonky disco, voguey house, b-boy electro and loose-limbed techno from his favourite labels like Osare!, Discos Capablanca, Atrophy and more so if these words sound interesting to you there is a good chance that you will dance rather than stare. While living in Singapore, he co-ran the notoriously decadent after-hours series Breakfast Club and later held a residency at Headquarters - where his off-kilter selections made him an ideal supporting act for visiting DJs like Black Merlin and Intergalactic Gary. Currently based in Hong Kong, he is now a resident of 宀 and their flagship industrial/ebm/techno night - Entropy 熵. He also co-runs RADIO HURUHARA, a mix series focused on the stranger side of electronic music.

With roots from Taiwan and Japan, Yoshi Nori cut his teeth as a DJ in Chicago around 2003. Not only was he heavily influenced by raw Chicago house sound, combination of minimal side of neo-Detroit, and renaissance of early 2000 post-punk movement shaped as foundation for his ever unpredictable DJ sets. Starting 2020 Yoshi Nori has launched a brand new label "禁 Jin". This project aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.
