An intimate underground joint (literally) at 133 Cecil Street, Cherry Discotheque embodies visual cues of the 80s aesthetics with its distinct retro-future vibe and grittiness.

We’re all about music and people. With our roots in #vinyloftheday and Singapore Community Radio, we have always believed in fostering and contributing to our growing community of music curators, lovers and creators. That’s why we are more than a record store, cafe or restaurant. We are a space for gigs, workshops, screenings and talks, too — we strive to connect the music community, bringing them together and providing them with the resources, knowledge and opportunities to create, curate and perform.

Somewhere is an evolving multi-use arts and events venue located in downtown Singapore that will host music gigs to celebrate the emerging sounds of the underground, as well as arts and cultural programmes that include exhibitions, talks, and screenings. This venue is also available for private and corporate hire.

Potato Head, the hospitality and entertainment group renowned for the internationally acclaimed ‘Potato Head Beach Club’ in Bali and the ‘Potato Head’ and ‘Potato Head Garage’ restaurants in Jakarta, opened its first venture outside Indonesia in June 2014, located in the heart of Chinatown in Singapore. Housed in one of the most iconic buildings on Keong Saik Road, this dynamic destination offers four venues within one building. Guests can combine the distinctively different restaurants and bars to create their perfect mix, or visit individually depending on the occasion, mood and time of day. Designed as Potato Head’s ‘home’ in Singapore, Potato Head Singapore has the intimate feel of a private house - the first floor is the kitchen – the dynamic burger restaurant Three Buns; the second its living room – a relaxed restaurant with table service; the third its private studio – a decadent drinking den; and the rooftop its garden – a tropical-paradise open-air bar. The different rooms of the house are a haven in the heart of the city, a retreat for Singapore’s creative crowd from the arts, fashion, film, music and design worlds.

One of Asia’s longest running annual dance music festival, ZoukOut, brings Asia’s best nightclub and the 4th ranked nightclub in the world, Zouk, to the great outdoors. The festival is also Asia’s largest dusk-to-dawn beach festival in the region. Programming for ZoukOut runs over 12 hours with the last night of the two-day festival ending only at 8:00am. This year marks the 17th edition for ZoukOut with an expected crowd of close to 30,000 fans expected to descent onto Siloso Beach, Sentosa in Singapore on the 8th & 9th of December 2017. As a pioneer of the dance scene in the region, ZoukOut has over the years spearheaded the festival and dance music scene by putting together world-class stage productions, immersive experiences and a promise of some of the world’s biggest names in dance music. Built on the “One World, One Music, One Tribe, One Dance” foundation that Zouk Singapore has been governed by throughout its 26 years of history, ZoukOut was created with the intention of gathering a community of music lovers beyond the limitations of an indoor space at one immersive and experiential festival.

Tucked away in Tanjong Pagar Road, Kilo Lounge is a hidden getaway from the hustle and bustle, a place for good vibes and even better music. Find us in a hidden back alley, step through our graffitied doors into a lush garden walkway, and navigate your way through a concrete tunnel into our dance floor. Choice Cuts is a lifestyle concept shop/cafe/bar that offers a relaxed DIY atmosphere to enjoy specialty coffee, craft beers, or to browse through the selection of vinyl records, Hip Hop inspired lifestyle products, accessories and an assortment of streetwear brands. Our specialty coffee comes in a hand-stamped takeaway cup and features our house beans called “Braziliana” or at times you can find us also featuring a guest blend from our favourite roasters from Singapore or around the region. We also have teas from T2, organic hot chocolate, spiced chai and matcha lattes. Regular and low-fat milk options are available as well as some non-dairy options like oat & soy. We serve pretty decent espresso-style coffee and all-day breakfast style food like our smoked salmon bagel, smashed avo toast, bratwurst sausages with the works, a breakfast parfait with yogurt, berries, chia seeds, and granola, to name a few. We also have some pretty amazing home-made items like our famous tiramisu, toasted bagels with hummus & tzatziki dips, banana bread, and our chunky deluxe cookies. Check out the rest of our menu. Every Friday evening we host pre-game drinking sessions with an eclectic selection of vinyl collectors showcasing their grooves in a night called, “Friday Selectors Present…” Every Saturday we feature a rotating roster of DJs curating their own nights. A few monthly live music nights (usually on Sundays) feature some of Singapore’s top jazz and funk bands and musicians. Look out for our series of events called, “Leaders Of The Nu -“ It’s also not uncommon to pop in on a Sunday Afternoon to discover an impromptu vinyl jam session as like-minded folks who congregate to hear an eclectic selection of vinyl records being played by friends of Choice Cuts while enjoying coffee, craft beers, natural wines, and spirits.

Canvas Singapore is a lifestyle and entertainment venue catering to the discerning and creative-minded; a place to come together to celebrate creativity and engage with the arts, culture and music.
