OMA is proudly one of Hong Kong's only dedicated club for underground house, Techno, Trance ,bass & break music , which boast more watts per square foot than any other venue you can imagine.
The rough cosiness in a petite but yet bombastic environment with a massive screen playing to your mind with crystal-clear (HD) psychedelic graphic patterns over few drinks is one of a kind experience not many clubs can offer.

The same spot has played host for over 12 years to a large and ever-loyal clientele and new customers alike in various guises, namely, Phi-b's, Yumla & then Midnight & Co.

OMA was born in 2014 to carry on the fine traditions it has inherited and had taken fun to the next level. It continued the no fuss, underground madness, where music and ONLY music matters with the best local and overseas DJs gracing the booth and letting the music to do the rest of the talking.

In the 6th year under this badge, OMA had invested heavily in upgrading the decoration (whilst maintaining the original New York and Detroit underground music loft culture) and in June 2019 we have further installed expensive new music systems & hardware to supplement the improved decoration. Precision Devices drivers (as used in Funktion-1 speakers) and best Lab Gruppen amplifiers and award winning mixers (Xone-96 & Midas Venice F16) were added to the booth stable together with dbx 4800 crossovers to up the music a few more notches. Come and feel the won’t regret your visit and maybe addicted to the sounds!

  • "A first of its kind for Jordan, Terrible Baby is a music and lounge bar, ideal for a night-cap. With stellar views and premium cocktails, no wonder it’s easily become the go-to spot in Kowloon. OR Much more than just a hotel bar, Terrible Baby is a melange of three distinctive concepts: a bar, rooftop garden, and music room located in the heart of Jordan. This is ground zero for Hong Kong’s edgy alt crowd: a place where hip young things come to mingle over espresso martinis on an expansive terrace, to playlists spun by homegrown producers and DJs."

  • Social Room is a loft-style, multi-functional flexible 2100 sq. ft. event space in Central, Hong Kong, ideally located next to the Central Escalator. We serve light lunch from M-F and have regular resident DJs playing until late on weekends. From the crew behind Bassment, one of Hong Kong's most beloved spaces for underground music, comes a new concept designed to expand and enhance the underground experience. The Social Room, perched above the Stanley St. market in Central, has two distinct but conjoined areas: a relaxed bar area with seating, harking back to the outdoor terrace at Bassment; and a large dancefloor area with a raised stage and DJ booth. With an improved soundsystem, double the floor space, and a third floor view, we will continue to bring the vibe of Bassment to Hong Kong in a brand new space. In addition to acting as a home for underground DJs and bands, the open space is also available to rent for corporate and private events, pop-up events, and art exhibitions. • Beneath The Pemberton in Sheung Wan lies Paper Street, a one-two combo of a sports lounge and fight club that is a ticket to a night of rousing social upheaval. Powered by Buzz Concepts, the minds behind VOLAR, MAXIMUS STUDIO & TIGER GROUP, this latest concept is meeting conventional with unconventional means by providing a personal boxing gym by day and another nighttime haunt of delights in the after-hours. An entrance of illusion, descend the staircase off Bonham Strand to be greeted by a cozy boxing ring, illuminated by alternating neon lights where personal boxing and Muay Thai training is offered during the day by none other than the All Star Fighting Champion, Tony “Thunder”. The gyms accommodations include 2 deluxe shower rooms, supplied with full amenities. But the real truth lies behind the lockers. Choose your locker wisely and use that boxer strength to reveal a consumer playground of cocktails, screens playing the latest sport, & good times abound. While the concept pays homage to cult classic Fight Club, the design gives way to the discerning patrons of Hong Kong nightlife, with luxurious finishes amongst wild surroundings. An eight-screen TV wall entertains all the sporting events while billiards and shuffleboard tables make for events of their own. Cocktails like the Rumble, a riotous mix of rum with passion & mint (HK$80 + 10%), swish alongside Japanese inspired snacks from the Gough Street Tiger Room. Never failing to keep the excitement alive, patrons can enjoy daily happy hour promotion of 30% off drinks from opening until 9PM with a special Tuesday deal of All You Can Wing – unlimited chicken wings and 2 standard drinks for just $200. Live acoustic sessions every Thursday from 7:30pm take the ring from rumble to humble, living to the theme of giving guests a night of contrasts. And what is a den of debauchery without a real fight? Friday and Saturday engorge the masculine with Fight Night from 10:30pm. Patrons of Paper Street are invited to let go of inhibitions and live with the total abandon of their daily monotony. Come, experience the unorthodox. Look for the vintage cinema board just off Bonham Strand.
