November 11th 2023, the inaugural eel Festival will kick off at the Dome (圓頂劇場) in Xindian, New Taipei City. In this futuristic architectural nirvana, a multitude of artists, DJs, and singers will come together on dual indoor and outdoor stages to craft a uniquely immersive experience—shattering the confines of electronic music conventions. Beneath the collision of elements from new media and art installations, a realm of unprecedented innovation will be ignited.
The festival lineup comprises 16 artists from both local and international scenes, merging contemporary electronic and avant-pop music. Acts such as ABYSS X, Amnesia Scanner & Freeka Tet, Async Figure, Batu, Ben UFO, COUCOU CHLOE, Kode9, Lorenzo Senni, Meuko! Meuko!, Tzusing, and many more will take the stage. The voices of those at the forefront of the era serve as prophecies for the future classics yet to come.
Co-hosted by Taipei's cutting-edge club FINAL and event collective PURE G, eel Festival is dedicated to fostering a more diverse, open, and dynamically shifting youth culture, providing a haven for every restless soul. As spirits of adventure, immense pulse, and unprecedented disruptive sounds converge, the foundations of prior understanding crumble, and the boundaries of a new world come into view.
