    Studio Adventure and former Kobala boss TOK from Hanoi is down to give us a taste of his Hanoian dance floor sensibilities, taking in anything from disco to house and techno, and honed through years of playing to - and managing - the capital’s wildest party freaks. TOK will be flanked by our city’s disco/house queen Maraphoria, eclectic groove specialist MyHero of Singapore’s Mugic crew, and our very own wunderboy park:ING throwing down his permanently energized twisted disco-house visions.
    What it all adds up to is a party-perfect melange of different styles - tethered together by a groove designed for keeping things moving into the new day. Get up and get down.

      Originally from Lyon, he moved to Asia a few years ago and is now based in Hanoi. Inspired by a decade spent all around Europe exploring the different clubs and parties, he has developed a real talent to play an eclectic mixture of house, techno and world music over the years. This brought him to mix regularly in several venues and different parties in Hanoi lately Savage, Birdcage, Quest Festival, HRC, Le Soleil, Kobala.... Expect to be surprised by his ability to change the rhythm of the night by throwing solid tracks on the dance floor.

    • Maraphoria

      Maraphoria is one of Saigon’s party starters in the local DJ community. She has a varied sound that has influences from all sorts of genres: Hip Hop, Disco, House and R&B. Born in the Philippines but grew up in Vietnam, she has been strongly influenced by DJs in the local community and experiments with her favorites to create her own sound. Recently she has been exploring the sound of House and adding flavors of Bass, Groove and UK Garage.

      Music has the power to alter emotions. MyHero a.k.a. Jordan Bates believes this power of music is best served hot, without limitation or rules. Growing up in 80’s suburbia, MyHero’s taste for electronic music was fueled by Düsseldorf, Chicago, Essex, New York City and Detroit mixed with queer club culture. Kraftwerk, Salsoul Orchestra, Talking Heads, Mr. Fingers, Klein & MBO, The ORB and Adonis are all the roots of MyHero’s house. As an active member of the Mugic collective of deejays and party promoters based in Singapore, MyHero continues his more than 15 years of playing lounges, clubs and parties in the US and across Asia. Can he do it for 15 more? Music also has the power to propel.

      Bringing diversity to the decks as an avid dancer, organizer and DJ, Park Lee (Giang Bac) is a Vietnamese-mixed Korean who grew up in Ho Chi Minh City. Having spent some years away, Park was only inspired to start DJ-ing once he had relocated back to his home, where he found himself developing alongside the city’s burgeoning music scene.Park started off through playing at small house parties, and quickly grew into a regular in the local scene. This led him to begin organizing events with friends, most notably the GenderFunk party series in Saigon, a breakthrough collective and pioneer in creating safe spaces for local Queer artists and community, and their own brand of creativity, musical diversity and live performance since 2018.
