British-American Douglas Black has spent the majority of his life abroad, and his eclectic life-experiences are reflected in his acute taste in music and a reputation as one of Hong Kong’s most versatile DJs. With musical influences including a wide range of artists such as Way Out West, Shiloh, James Zabiela, Underworld, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Infected Mushroom, BT, and Envotion, Douglas’s sets journey through genre and time while keeping a driving, soulful edge. Douglas is also a co-founder of Electric Mirage, a musical event project designed to bring people together with music to inspire hope and self-expression in Hong Kong.

Teng’s ascent into the pantheon of top tier DJs began in the underground rave scene of 1990’s Sydney. He has been drawing influences from far and wide ever since, delving into disco, funk, breaks, house and techno digesting these diverse sounds and pushing them back to dance floors with his signature mixing style. Continually searching for the next sound to progress his style, Teng still scours genres from around the world, adding the best of the best to his leviathan repertoire. Once Teng started delving into the art of mixing, his reputation shot through Sydney. Embraced by both club owners and punters alike for his uncanny ability to connect with crowds, Teng played parties in the city’s most popular clubs, eventually earning himself residencies at influential club nights Plastic and Sublime.

    Female, funky and Eurasian: if anybody embodies the future of music in the 21st century, it’s Hong Kong-born, internationally renowned producer, label boss, composer, photographer’s muse and DJ, Janette Slack. Taking Asia’s dance music scene to the next level with her high-heeled sonic canvases that mix everything from sensual house and progressive, to electro- and ghetto funk, spiced with swing mash-ups, and overlaid with lavish rock riffs, cinematic stabs and soaring a cappella vocals. The first female winner of London’s prestigious Denon DJousts competition, she has also won Pink Armada European Female DJ competition, beating out a field of 200. Celebrity collaborations have meanwhile come thick and fast, among them with D. Ramirez, the Preset Warriors, Javone Prince, Kickflip, Fabian, Some DJ and MC Tuhin Chisti. Slack has also appeared on Sky 1’s Gadget Geeks show, test-driving DJ equipment; on BBC 1’s Secret Service; and in Richard Curtis’ latest film, About Time.
