宀’s Industrial Techno & Dark Wave lead by Nanogram is delighted to host an artists who is the spearheads of the modular synthesizers movement in China, Punx, along with Entropy allies, Yadin Moha, and Finsent. C
NANOGRAM
Nanogram was born in Hong Kong but grew up in New York, where he experienced the deeper end of electronic music. His first ever concert experience was a 4-man electronic music from Germany, called Kraftwerk, which has since set the foundation of his taste in techno music. He does not stop at Techno, but is also known to craft great sets incorporating 90s rave, acid, post-punk, new wave and industrial techno. He is heavily involved in pushing the development of Hong Kong underground electronic music scene. In June 2018, after 2 years of planning and construction, he and other like-minded people launched the opening of 宀 Club, currently the only underground music club in Hong Kong with acoustically tuned sound and professional club management. In addition, he and another co-founder and the collective's visual director, FMLIK, founded a new techno promotion brand - Entropy, with the aim of showcasing an eclectic pool of artists to Hong Kong and Asia-pacific region. Entropy hosts monthly artist spotlight at the one-and-only underground club, 宀 Club.

Finsent C (Cipher)

Finsent C is an artist native to Hong Kong, who has seen his sound evolve innumerably since his initial foray into DJing in 2009. Having been a drummer and member of a local band in his formative years, he eventually sought refuge in electronic music; cultivating a sound that can best be described as fluid, and with an emphasis on the hypnotic spectrum of techno. He perceives sets as flowing journeys, which requires time, and an element of patience to achieve. His music project - Cipher, is a metaphor for his musical direction and vision – 'experiencing' parties that verge on the ritualistic, to which point they have been described as otherworldly. Artists both locally and internationally continue to be invited to express their various forms of deep, experimental and meditative sounds.

Yadin Moha

Yadin plays a jumble of spooky noise, wonky disco, voguey house, b-boy electro and loose-limbed techno from his favourite labels like Osare!, Discos Capablanca, Atrophy and more so if these words sound interesting to you there is a good chance that you will dance rather than stare. While living in Singapore, he co-ran the notoriously decadent after-hours series Breakfast Club and later held a residency at Headquarters - where his off-kilter selections made him an ideal supporting act for visiting DJs like Black Merlin and Intergalactic Gary. Currently based in Hong Kong, he is now a resident of 宀 and their flagship industrial/ebm/techno night - Entropy 熵. He also co-runs RADIO HURUHARA, a mix series focused on the stranger side of electronic music.

The 100-capacity venue will bring a roster of leading international performers while nurturing local and regional talent. 宀 is the Chinese Radical 40 with a different pronunciation according countries. It has no literal meaning but can be likened to a roof or shelter. This is a place where you can express yourself freely. This place is for dancing. This is a place to learn. This is safe space where you will not be harassed, discriminated, criticised or harmed emotionally or physically. This is a place where all Races, Genders and Sexual identities are welcome. To safeguard this vision, there will be a no-photo policy applied inside the club. 宀 has been imagined by a group of music and audiophile enthusiasts who have chosen a Funktion-One soundsystem in a room carefully engineered by one of the region's leading experts in acoustics.
