Alberto Aldave and JayMe evoke the funkiness of 80’s Japan, where drinks and dancing can’t get lost in translation.
Alberto’s creative cocktails are accompanied by the sounds of Jimmy Mak AKA JayMe, one of the most respected figures in the local music scene. More commonly known as The Disco Doctor.
On the night, JayMe will be taking over Cassio’s ARS Knobbs with a deep dive into 80’s Japanese City Pop, a formerly obscure genre that has found a new groovy place in the post-pandemic world, turning Cassio into the house of a style that kept Roppongi up through the neon-soaked nights.
