Stelios Vassiloudis is a composer, producer and DJ hailing from Athens, Greece and active in electronic music since the early 2000’s. He has cultivated a sound of his own, one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms. Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing all over the globe as a DJ and live performer - performing at intimate underground bars in Beirut, festivals in Miami, after-hours in Tokyo, beaches in Goa and mega clubs in Argentina. His studio prowess and coveted productions cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he developed a formidable discography on esteemed labels such as Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, Constant Sound Darkroom Dubs and Balance, among others. Now, entering a new phase of his career, Stelios prepares to unveil his sophomore album, a collection of works that marks a departure from the narrow confines of the club music and represents the essence of what he’s all about – an album that merges the limitless possibilities of electronic music, his formidable training in composition and arranging and his diverse, formative influences. The outcome of his bold endeavour is a balanced compilation of grand compositions, paired with subtle, nuanced pieces that is set to engage and entice audiences across a broader spectrum.
