Jun 4 2023
6:00 - 12:00
66 Boat Quay Singapore
Mark your calendars, prepare your dancing shoes, and join us for an extraordinary night with Aquarian! Prepare to immerse yourself all night long in pulsating music and infectious energy as Aquarian guides you on a musical journey for an unforgettable experience that will captivate your senses.

Hybrid, mutated strains of rave music with influences from the sounds of London, Detroit, and Berlin – Aquarian makes raw, arresting, and immediate music aimed squarely at the dance floor.

His sound draws from both sides of the Atlantic, combining Drexcyian electro, old-school jungle, and UK grime with vertical singularity. The Canadian-born, Berlin-based artist broke out with a trio of records for UNO NYC in 2012 and has since released records through his own culinary-rave imprint, Hanger Management, while collaborating with Caen-based producer Deapmash as "AQXDM" on Bedouin Records and Houndstooth.

Recently, his high energy and eclectic mixing style has found its way into Berghain, De School, Tresor, and Unsound Festival, while his releases have drawn support from Aphex Twin, Nina Kraviz, Ben UFO, Objekt, Avalon Emerson, and more. 2019 brought his LP debut, "The Snake That Eats Itself," to Bedouin Records, expanding on his stylistic hallmarks to include industrial-flecked IDM, drone, and pop through a cinematic lens, while collaborating with acclaimed artist and researcher Sougwen Chung on a live A/V show.

  • Daryl Knows

̸BIOGRAPHY Daryl Knows is a bridger of genres – from amorous soul cuts and spry jittery electro, to frisky disco rarities and his uplifting house jaunts. It’s this versatility that’s made the veteran a figure in some of Singapore’s biggest festivals. Daryl’s gig portfolio in the local bar and club circuit is compatibly expansive, filled by his duties as a longstanding stalwart resident of Headquarters, Offtrack, and Singaporean international record label, Darker Than Wax. A key member since 2016, Daryl’s been instrumental in orchestrating some of the scene’s most beloved events on behalf of Darker Than Wax, including renowned courtyard bash, BREW, alongside the region-drawing Haw Par Thrilla spectacle with +65 promoters, Ice Cream Sundays. As a deeply-embedded advocate of electronic music within the community, Daryl has also participated in historical gigs that made national headlines, spanning the pandemic-combatting #SaveMusicSG campaign and The Last Mile which bid farewell to cultural and architectural icon, Golden Mile Complex. The seasoned tastemaker’s milestones and prospects, meanwhile, stretch beyond the Lion City. Daryl’s performance accolades have seen him support the international likes of Peggy Guo, DJ Boring, Jackmaster, Demuja, Lars Vegas (Dam Swindle), Dan Shake, Frits Wentink, Young Marco, Kornel Kovacs, Luca Lozano, Christopher Rau, Hidden Spheres and Max Graef to name a few. His career wholly embraces his love of sharing sounds to audiences from all walks of life, and this has been apparent in his international appearances in London, Tokyo, Melbourne, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Bali where he even played for Bestival. Daryl Knows is a true Singaporean soul with global appeal, and it shows every time he hits the decks. “I think I’ve matured a lot as a DJ after the pandemic,” says Daryl. Citing his myriad ongoing commitments in the scene as inspiration, he is now broadening his perspective and embracing the opportunity to listen, dig, and play music that he genuinely feels for. Even after all these years, it’s this tenacious drive to nourish this passion that spurs him on in his relentless DJ pursuits – no matter where in the world they take him. “I always like to have a conversation that flows between me and the audience,” he wraps up. And that is a dialogue that Daryl Knows best.

  • If you’d rather have gritty, underground vibes than over-the-top extravagance, Headquarters is your spot. This small, intimate space on the second storey of a shophouse is straight-up and simple with a DJ booth in a cage at one end of the room, a bar at the other, and a dance floor flanked by graffiti-strewn walls. This is for the deep house heads and the down-to-earth crews who just want to lose themselves in the music and dance until the sun comes up.
