Beatport, the iconic platform shaping the dance music scene, commemorates its 20th anniversary with the launch of BPXX, a year-long celebration encapsulating the evolution of dance culture. The BPXX Capsule, a digital web experience, offers a journey from Beatport's inaugural track to recent advancements, symbolizing "Music Is Unstoppable."

Established in 2004, Beatport has evolved into a dance music behemoth, acquiring platforms like LabelRadar and Ampsuite, fostering community with initiatives like Beatport Next, Diversity + Parity Fund, and the recent acquisition of Ibiza Music Summit (IMS). The 20-year celebration commenced in 2023 with special experiences in Los Angeles and London, culminating in the full-scale launch of BPXX in 2024.

The BPXX Capsule, now accessible globally, narrates Beatport's development, from its inception to the integration of new platforms and technological advancements. Initiatives planned for 2024 include BPXX Int’l Women’s Month in March, spotlighting women in dance music, and BPXX Unstoppable Pride in June, acknowledging the LGBTQIA+ community's contributions to dance music.

Further, BPXX Unstoppable will be featured at IMS, celebrating Beatport's ecosystem and spotlighting those who have grown alongside the brand. The Beatport Awards, making a return after a hiatus since 2011, will honor scene members for their noteworthy work and releases.

CEO Robb McDaniels, reflecting on Beatport's legacy, emphasizes the platform's role as the dance music community's central nervous system and expresses gratitude to the artists, DJs, fans, and trailblazers shaping the culture. 

As part of BPXX, Beatport not only marks its digital presence but also plans physical events throughout 2024, promising continued progress through innovative solutions.
