2021 has been a year with its fair share of ups and downs, as we enter into year two of COVID-19. What better way to close out the year than with some of your favorite local and international acts, both alternative and mainstream?
That’s the plan with Countdown in the Nocturnland, which will be taking place in Ocean Park. The event, which is organized by the team from Creamfields Hong Kong, is their first outdoor music event since 2019. This is also Ocean Park’s first ever music festival.
Mainstream headliners include BEAUZ from the US, Pink Panda from the UK, and Yåko from Hong Kong, who are listed among the world’s Top 100 DJs. The three acts have millions of listens to their name with their productions and are sure to bring a great deal of energy to the event.
In the meantime, representing the Hong Kong alternative scene will be Yeti and Friends, along with Wonton Bass. Alexmalism, Xiaolin, Changa, DJ Freckles, and Arthur Yeti himself will be fronting Yeti and Friends. While with Wonton Bass, we have DJ Fu, Lovely, Dr. Thunder, and Enry. Expect to hear genres ranging from techno, electro, to UK garage, grime, and DnB.
Keep your eyes peeled for other surprises, since everyone deserves to close out a year like 2021 with a bang and not a whimper. We’ll be selling tickets right here on Electric Soul, as well as featuring interviews with some of the alternative acts involved in what’s coming up.
