It’s about that time 2020 sees itself out. It wouldn’t be an overstep if we said that the majority of the population will be happy to see this past year come to a close. Between a global pandemic, killer bees, massive human rights violations, and an election that provoked clinical anxiety in almost everyone, 2020 has overstayed its welcome...and then some.

The year started with promise like any other year, full of resolutions and events to look forward to. As the days went by, we saw our social calendars getting a little less full and our crafting (and drinking) skills a little more honed. It only seems fair to send 2020 into the ether with one final shebang.

Although a majority of North American venues are still closed and people are still practicing self-isolation, if we’ve learned anything from 2020, it's that we don’t need to physically be together to get together for a good time. From drive-in performances, pod concerts, and a never ending stream of livestreams, we’ve found a way to connect through music.

If you’re ready to kiss/kick this past year goodbye/riddance, check out this list of New Year’s Eve events happening this December 31st!

Throughout the evening, prizes will be given out for the highest step counts and craziest dance moves. Presented by beatboxer and producer SK Shlomo, featured artists include Felix Buxton (a.k.a. Basement Jaxx), Arielle Free, and Beardyman. Let Rave to the Moon be your last good deed of 2020.

Tomorrowland 31.12.2020

Tomorrowland, one of Europe’s most outlandish and spectacular festivals, is going virtual for New Year’s Eve. With IRL production and stages that transport you to another world, we can only fathom what they will be able to create digitally. With a lineup that can’t be beat, featuring Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Camelphat, Diplo, Martin Garrix, and so many more unreal artists, at 8pm on December 31st (yes, they are adapting to every timezone in the world), you’ll enter the digital entertainment venue NOAZ for a festival you won’t forget. In NOAZ, you’ll find 4 different stages: Melodia, Atmosphere, Planaxis and Pulse that will recreate some of past Tomorrowland’s most iconic themes. Expect 25 different international acts, 4 stages, and a countdown.
