Festival season is back, albeit slowly but surely, in Serbia with EXIT 2.0. Happening from 8 to 11 July at the iconic Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, EXIT Festival is marking their return with four days packed full of house and techno acts.

One of the major international festivals to be taking place in 2021 globally, EXIT 2.0 will also be celebrating their 20th anniversary. The theme is simple, yet apt; celebrate life. And there’s nothing more exciting then heading to an 18th century fortress to get back into the scene. This festival is not just packed full of renowned artists and enchanting summer getaway, but its also a return to normalcy for music lovers.

Headlining the star-studded festival is DJ Snake, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Tyga, Paul Kalkbrenner, Robin Schulz, Boris Brejcha, Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, Solomun, Artbat, and Jonas Blue. Filling up the rest of the lineup is the likes of Flegma (live), Farrago, Honey Dijon, Hot Since 82, Satori (live), Juliana Huxtable, Mud Factory, Nemesis, First Flame, Space Motion, and Imaginarium (live), with many more to be announced.

For those travelling in, you can also book travel packages, with accommodation for all price ranges here. Hostels, private rooms, and hotels are still available. For those who bought their Exit tickets in 2020, they will automatically be valid for the 2021 festival.

With the music industry suffering so many losses and difficulties in the past year or so, ravers and artists alike are ready to head back to the dance floor. EXIT has also released a mini-documentary that explores the effects of lockdown and social distancing on young people’s mental health, inspired by the team when they discovered that depression increase by a shocking 700%. You can watch “EXIT the Pandemic: Dance To Freedom” below to see how the organizers have survived the past 15 months whilst striving towards the freedom and bright future that has always been the festival’s motto.

EXIT Festival will also be giving international visitors a shot to get vaccinated as part of their COVID  safety measures.

Other health and safety measures are also put into place to ensure the safety of all festival-goers, crew and artists. For those traveling from overseas into Serbia, depending on your country of departure you might have to show proof of a PCR test or vaccination certificate.

EXIT 2.0 is happening on 8 to 11 July 2021 at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. Tickets start from € 124, and is available online.
