In 2015, Aïsha Devi released her debut album, ‘Of Matter And Spirit’, a significant sonic statement rich in political and philosophical subtext. 2018 saw the release of Devi’s sophomore album, ‘DNA Feelings’, an acclaimed record addressing the impact of sound on an atomic level. While she currently uses music as her primary medium of expression, Devi’s practice is fundamentally interdisciplinary - she studied graphic design and collaborates with visual and performance artists as well as making her own interventions within the art world. A well traveled person from having lived in Japan, Korea and the USA as a teenager Enyang emigrated to Berlin in her twenties to tap into a new scene and sound unique to the city. Since then she has been intimately involved in the experimental music scene having performed at CTM festival in January of 2021. Serendipity found Enyang in Berlin and it was this city that transformed her passion for music and took her on a new path, one which would expose her to some of the most cutting edge artists of the world. Having worked intimately with the releases of some of the most experimental artists of our time, Enyang’s own musical sensibility and need for experimentation aligns closely with the roster of her impressive clientele. Driven by a need to express the inherent beauty within the unusual, different or other she uses recordings of her own body’s movements and functions to create a unique sound palette. These recordings become the musical apparatus Enyang uses to compose her tracks. 27-year-old Ida Engberg started DJing hip hop and soul aged 14 after a boyfriend showed her how to mix, but she says “I had absolutely no plans on becoming a DJ, I just saw it as a new way to listen to and interact with music and I loved it!” But fate had other plans – while at a friend’s bar aged 18 his regular DJ called in sick. Ida talked her way onto the decks on the proviso that if it wasn’t working after half an hour she’d get off again – by the time she’d finished playing she’d secured her first weekly residence. “I was probably a terrible DJ” she says modestly, “but he loved the music so he booked me every Friday. At this time I was playing lounge music, ambient and soulful house.”,Ida honed her mixing skills and bagged her second residency through more fortuitous timing – working as a host at a big nightclub, Spy Bar, she stepped in for the errant resident DJ who’d had a skinful and promptly disappeared, leaving the dancefloor in silence. The owner immediately changed her job description to DJ, and put her in the main room, kicking off her DJ career proper. “I guess it was there it really started” says Ida. “I was playing house, tribal and electro and I really loved every second of it! Over the past several years, Juana has made her mark in DC as one of only a handful of techno DJs, as a member of the founding squad of the Sequence collective, led by Ron Jackson.  In June 2020, Mathame launch ‘Never Give Up’ remixes and invite worldwide class artist to remake their incredible single such as Diplo, Lost Frequencies, ZHU, Adriatique and Vril. Following this, Mathame return the favor with a remix of ZHU’s September single, “Risky Business.” 
 In October 2020, the two brothers dropped out their “Far, Here, Nowhere” Essential Mix for BBCR1, then the mix got nominated as the Essential Mix of the year.

For over a decade, Max Gardner has dedicated himself to techno. He's a constant presence in the Bay Area scene, playing clubs and warehouse parties, hosting his own events, and producing his own hammerhead machine music, performing all-hardware live sets solo and in collaboration. In 2011, Gardner co-founded Direct To Earth, a party and event series. Through his work with DTE, Gardner has hosted, promoted, and DJed beside some of the world's most well-regarded techno talents — in dirty warehouses, hazy afterparties, and top-tier clubs. His DJ sets run through the gamut of techno in its purest forms, inspired by the heavy, synth-forward sounds of Detroit and Berlin classics and new-school players from the Netherlands, Latin America, and the U.S. Midwest. He focuses on driving rhythms and intricate, long-form mixing — hypnotic blends that provide just the right amount of subtlety to whipped-up dancers. Gardner has also been producing his own material for years, and in 2018, he released his first 12", an EP entitled "Broken Knives & Pinkies" on Bay Area imprint Excise. Besides his solo productions, Gardner also collaborates with San Francisco hardware technician Marc Kelechava as Transpose, an all-hardware techno duo whose debut performance tore the roof off a MUTEK San Francisco afterparty. As a record collector, DJ, promoter and producer, Craig has been passionately involved in underground music culture for over 30 years. When asked “What do you spin?” Minneapolis artist, Craig Lambert (aka Focus) has always answered “Records.” Craig started collecting records over 40 years ago and has spent nearly three decades passionately sharing those records and his love of music with dance floors across the Midwest. Through hundreds of club, lounge, and warehouse appearances, Craig and his crew, The Disco Devils, have carved a unique niche in the crowded, competitive DJ culture. With his simple “2 turntables and a mixer” approach to DJing and his vast knowledge of music history, Craig is able to seamlessly weave the old with the new, creating cohesive sets spanning multiple genres and generations. With a “focus” on the roots of modern dance music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, Craig’s collection of 12” singles is world class. Before each gig he spends hours browsing his archives, pulling hundreds of potential candidates for the upcoming session. He ultimately whittles the selections down to a few crates of records that will allow him to create a unique musical experience, custom tailored to each event. Music production, a study that began for him over twenty years ago, has now moved to the forefront with live performances and releases under the moniker “MMC” (aka Midnight Music Club). Craig’s timeless yet distinctly “old school” sound is reminiscent of early Chicago and Detroit pioneers, with a blend of deep house, techno and electro that is uniquely his own. 2017 saw the vinyl release of his first published work on Chicago’s “Descendants of the Deep” label. In 2018 he is honored with a forthcoming solo EP on Headphoniq, another highly regarded Chicago publisher where he is label mates with some of the most respected producers in underground dance music history.

Mike Parker’s experimental and ritualistic approach sets him apart from the rest and in a time of over-saturation he is still one of those few artists whose sound you can spot in a heartbeat. For 20 plus years, he has perfected a unique interpretation of techno, instantly recognisable to contemporary audiences, which has earned him a legendary global status inspiring the likes of Donato Dozzy and many of his peers for decades now. Mike first stepped onto the scene in ‘97 with two fiery EP’s that would set the tone for his future musical endeavours. The following year would see the birth of his label Geophone which became the outlet for his long-running series of 12” records and debut album which all played a pivotal role in establishing his sonic persona. Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and after earning his stripes in the US Parker’s productions would cross the Atlantic and find themselves on some of Europe’s most established labels. Over the past ten years, the likes of Tresor, Semantica and Spazio Disponibile have all played host to a number of his EP’s while his second studio album found a home with the mighty Prologue back in 2013 to much acclaim. In 2019 he will relight the fire with his Geophone imprint and continue to leave his mark on techno by doing so. As a DJ, Parker rose through the mid-1990s as a mainstay in the US’s emerging warehouse party scene. His hypnotic, abstract and hard-hitting approach to performing earned him a highly respected reputation and further increased his devoted following. His wealth of experience in the booth has been acquired with regular performances across North America, Europe and Asia making Parker a well-seasoned underground veteran. From his humble beginnings to the present-day Mike Parker has amassed an impressive list of credentials paving his own lane with a unique style that breathes innovation yet honours the true values of techno. And after 20 years in the game, Mike is still a dominant figure that continues to carve his own niche in the ever-expanding world of electronic music.

Growing up in Miami, he had been involved in various parts of the music industry, from working at Flamingo Record Pool (run by Bill Kelly of WMC Fame), to playing guitar for the band "Life In Sodom" (80’s Synth/Goth Band). His interest in both House & Industrial music inspired him to make his move to the Windy City, and as far as timing, it couldn't have been any better. Bill quickly became involved in the night scene with residency at clubs like Shelter Nightclub, Crobar, & Smart Bar. Bill is a key figure in Chicago’s second wave of House & Techno producers. He’s considered an big influence by Dj's like Black Madonna, Kink, Axel Boman, & Matrixxman. His styles vary from current Detroit Techno & Chicago Acid, to rare House & Italo Disco tracks. Currently he frequents clubs like Panorama Bar in Berlin, and holds a weekly residency, as well as a monthly in Miami.

Already one of the best-known eastern European techno/house DJs, Nastia’s star is firmly in the ascendancy globally. Her style is to an extent adaptable but she has a sound that is unmistakably her own. The last three years have been a whirlwind of gigs for Nastia. Her twilight techno, melancholic minimal, stripped-down ghetto funk and sustained house have been wowing crowds all around the world. Then there are their edits. Thom Yorke was so impressed by the duo’s versions of ‘Not The News’that he let them release the tracks on their own Polykicks label. Add to that their cheeky version of Rosalia –‘A Palé’,which caught the ear and the eye of the respected flamenco artist, as well as being a highlight of their live performances pre-lockdown. Then the world abruptly stopped, all their forthcoming gigs were cancelled and suddenly Overmono were able to fully commit their energy to their legendary Bromley studio. Real Girl is the moniker of Midwest-born and raised DJ and multi-media artist Josie Simon. Real Girl started DJ'ing at college in Ohio when the song-selectors that spun at the parties on campus all started to graduate, leaving a void that she felt compelled to fill. While house basements were Real Girl's preferred venue at the time, her DJ sets have been seen at above-ground college venues such as the Oberlin ‘Sco for events such as Queer Beers, at Oberlin music festival Pretty Fest (started by Sarah Snider ‘17) in 2018 and 2019, opening for Oberlin’s Solarity event in May of 2019, and as the mix-master for Oberlin’s slam poetry group OSLAM’s Grand Slam in Spring 2019. Her selections could also be heard for a semester in 2019 on 91.5 FM WOBC, Oberlin’s own college and community radio station, for her early Friday morning radio show TRANSMISSION. In the brief months between when she graduated and when the pandemic hit, her selections could be heard at DJ Lemz's DC party Sleaze, Slamdunkapher's Minneapolis party Purr, and the Janelovesu! single release party at New York's H0l0 Bar. She now runs a radio show on Verge.fm called Beat Conduit where you can hear a new Real Girl mix every first Friday of the month.

Generally billed just by her first name, Rebekah Teasdale is a DJ and producer from Birmingham, England who has been active since the mid-'90s. Like most figures of the Birmingham techno scene, her tracks are often hard, dark, and minimalist, with heavy pounding beats and gradual suspenseful development. An avid clubgoer since her youth, she began spinning records in 1996, at the age of 16. She spent several years as a model in order to provide financial support for her DJ career. She released an edit of the Mighty Dub Katz's house anthem "It's Just Another Groove" in 2004, but her first original productions, starting with 2007's "Toad in a Hole," were minimal tech-house. By the early 2010s, her sound had gotten darker and heavier, and she eventually caught the attention of Chris Liebing, who released Rebekah's Cycles EP on his CLR label in 2013. ~ AllMusic

In the studio or behind the decks, he brilliantly fuses different strains of ultra-modern techno and broken beat: eyes-down minimal lights up with modular sass, choppy kicks flirt with rolling grooves, and sharp sound design slices through earthy subs. It’s the kind of amphibious sound that can slip into otherworldly spaces while never truly leaving the dance floor. Rhyw turned heads with the heavyweight two-tracker ‘Biggest Bully’ in 2019, earning himself sets at Berghain, Berlin Atonal, Boiler Room Tokyo and Freerotation amongst others. Online and on-air, he’s guested on Hessle Audio’s Rinse FM show and Mixmag’s ‘In Session’ mix series, and contributed podcasts to Crack and FACT. Even when they leave the gate at full pelt, these sets showcase Rhyw’s subtle sense of intricacy, balancing airy atmospheres against tougher tackle. But whatever the energy level, there’s always an alien presence in Rhyw’s sound—a shapeshifter whose twin motives are to bewitch and disorientate the listener.

As far back as the early '90s, Ricardo Villalobos began building an impressive discography of 12" releases on respected dance labels like Playhouse and Perlon, and around the turn of the decade he was one of the most revered producers and DJs in dance music. In his youth, the Chilean-born Villalobos moved with his family to Germany in order to avoid the military dictatorship of Pinochet, and he eventually fell in with the country's fertile house community. A minimalist at heart, he trotted the globe to study percussion in order to apply his knowledge to his productions, which almost always sound remarkably expansive despite their simplicity. In addition to his own solo material, he has recorded with fellow expatriate Dandy Jack as Ric y Martin and with Luciano as Sense Club; additionally, he has taken part in Markus Nikolai's Hombre Ojo project. ~ AllMusic

Richie Hawtin played an essential role in developing the sound of minimal techno, as well as spreading its popularity throughout the global club scene. Most famous for his experimental acid techno productions as Plastikman, including the classic albums Musik (1994) and Consumed (1998), he is equally well-regarded for his groundbreaking live sets and mix CDs (especially 1999's Decks, EFX & 909) which utilize cutting-edge DJ technology, fusing loops of techno records with additional synthesizers and drum machines. Initially based in Windsor, Ontario and connected with the techno scene in nearby Detroit, he co-founded the highly influential Plus 8 (and its harder sublabel Probe Records) along with John Acquaviva, later establishing Minus and relocating to Berlin during the early 2000s, just as minimal techno began receiving mainstream exposure. Russell has painstakingly cultivated a unique artistic expression that integrates and investigates themes around process, technological innovation, the archive, and decolonization. Their works have taken the form of vinyl records, digital audio releases, live A/V performances, and special archiving projects. Russell’s work has been featured in publications like the New Yorker, Resident Advisor, the East Bay Express, New York Dance Music zine Love Injection, and Bermuda’s national paper, The Royal Gazette. Their dynamic performances have helped them keep a busy tour scheduled, traveling as far and wide as Ukraine, France, Portugal, and the Netherlands to name a few. Through their work with modular synthesizers, Russell has been awarded grants and positions as a featured artist. In 2016, Russell began working with the Synthesizer Library in Portland, Oregon as an artist in residence. There they recorded, performed and held workshops for students. As an extension of this work, Russell’s expertise as an electronic musician was documented in the book Patch & Tweak by Kim Bjørn. This is an educational book about the development and implementation of modular synthesizers. In it Russell shares the intersections of their experiences as a Black, Queer, Trans immigrant in America and how that has informed their process as a musician. In 2019, Russell was awarded the Traveling Scholars Fellowship from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts to continue their work with modular synthesizers at the Synthesizer Library’s Prague, Czech Republic location. They would utilize this time to create over 30 compositions, some of which have been featured on NYC label Mr. Saturday Night and pioneering Berlin techno outfit, Tresor. Most recently, in 2021, Russell has worked as a featured artist, digitally archiving records from the collection of House Music pioneer, Frankie Knuckles, as part an installation created by Theaster Gates in a group show curated by renowned writer and curator, Antwan Sargent, titled “Social Works”. They have also featured on a digital and vinyl compilation celebrating the 30th anniversary of pioneering Techno organization, Tresor. Russell also works professionally as a recording, mix, and mastering engineer, an educator, and a consultant for special audio projects and films. After studying classical music in her youth, Sonja Moonear set aside the piano in favour of the turntables and bought a Roland R8. From that point on, participating in ever more ambitious projects, she was tapped by an international agency and started the road trip. Moonear slowly began collaborating with artists and friends like Luciano or Cosmic Chile Zürich, along with Dandy Jack as Junction SM. Stephan Bodzin has been a hugely influential figure within the global techno scene for years. After starting out by composing music for several prestigious European theatres, Stephan Bodzin soon fell in love with nocturnal club sounds and began producing his own brand of techno. ̸BIOGRAPHY Zoë Mc Pherson is a Berlin based multimedia artist, performer, researcher, sound designer, spatial sound shaper, DJ, curator and founder of SFX label & AV platform. Described as a "vanguard" by British publication Mixmag and "fearless" by Hyponik, Berlin-based Zoë Mc Pherson is a French-Irish multimedia artist whose practice absorbs elements of performance, sound design, installation art and DJing. Their breathless third album "Pitch Blender" is a tight set of cybernetic dancefloor experiments that flicker between the rave and the art space, and arrives courtesy of SFX, the boundary-pushing A/V-focused label Mc Pherson runs with their long-time collaborator Alessandra Leone. Since the release of their immersive 2018 debut album "String Figures" and its acclaimed 2020 follow-up "States of Fugue", Mc Pherson has performed across the world, appearing at Berlin's CTM Festival, Nyege Nyege in Jinja, Uganda, Freerotation in the UK, Meakusma in Belgium, Madrid's LEV, Amsterdam’s FIBER festival, Elevate Festival in Graz and Malmö's Inkonst. They've presented spatial sound installations at Berlin's world-famous MONOM (the world's first 4DSOUND system), Silent Green amongst others, and work alongside bULt, in Almaty, Kazakhstan's largest city, to invite musicians to perform and hold workshops at a brand new queer-owned club. A seasoned collaborator, Mc Pherson maintains an ongoing project with renowned French sound artist Jessica Ekomane. The two performed a special project at Berghain's Halle broadcast by ARTE TV, and their first recording was released on Ostgut Ton's "Fünfzehn + 1" compilation. On the other end of their creative spectrum, Carbon 96 finds Mc Pherson teaming up with US techno producer and DJ Ciarra Black, and the duo's effervescent debut "Carbonated" was released on Peder Mannerfelt Produktion earlier this year.
