Angolan born, AST has been travelling the world, performing the finest selection of African music: afrojazz, afrofunk, afrobeat, afrotech, afrodisco, tweaked with minimal downtempo electronic, 100% vinyl, enhancing the magical power and brightness of African roots. expect to dance to pumping music non-stop, bringing up the more organic African styles as well as upbeat electronic flavoured rhythms. AST is a former DJ/events promoter aka as ‘borrowed vinyl’ with London's DJ collective ‘red, gold & green’ alongside Mr swing easy and dubplate pearl, purveyors of the finest Jamaican music, with a touch of soul… AST collaborated with several artists from Portugal, Thailand, France, Brazil, in order to create a more organic and entrancing performance, joining guitars, congas, tablas and synths with the aim of pushing two different projects forward: ‘africandubpushers’ and ‘na mamba’.

Johnny Hiller has been riding the waves of the international club scene since the early 90s through creating reputable and forward thinking parties, including the London/Tokyo based Lasermagnetic & Hong Kong based Otaku Sound System. Being associated with the underground balearic/disco revival in London, Johnny has been invited to play clubs including Fabric in London, Club Air in Tokyo, Cookies in Berlin, Nouveau Casino in Paris amongst others. Whilst DJ’ing for the best part of the last 2 decades, he has released music on his own imprint 'Spacemachine Recordings'. Johnny’s latest venture is The Music Room at Potato Head, an audiophile and vinyl only space that has put Hong Kong on the map for representing good music culture.
