For this week’s radio, we invite our second Thai DJ to the feature! So, let’s welcome BUNNYMAN OF THAILAND for Electric Soul Radio #12!
 

The Thai artist began DJ-ing in 2011. Since then, he has played for events and festivals like Wonderfruit Festival, an annual arts festival held in Chonburi Province, Thailand. Into the 10th year of his career this year, we get up close and personal with the nature-loving DJ to know more about his music preferences, his favourite pastimes, and more!

1.Hello, BUNNYMAN! Welcome, and thank you for joining us. Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi, I am BUNNYMAN from Bangkok, Thailand.

I started playing in 2011. So far it's been 10 years. I’m a musician with a passion for rock music. But I'm open minded to music. I have come to know and love Electronic Music, but prefer to be in the underground scene more.

In the past, there were small projects with the project Sweed&Bunnyman. It is a pairing with a close senior friend. I also used to hold a small party called CODE - NAA. I like to play UK Bass, UK Techno, Techno, House.
 

2.What inspired the name ‘BUNNYMAN’?’
Nothing ^^
 

3.Aside from Techno and Bass, are there other genres you play?
House, Acid House, Funky House, Deep House.
 

4.What clubs or collectives in Thailand do you recommend to our readers?
Saveroom, 12x12, De commune.

In Thailand, there aren’t many clubs that will let you play underground music. What’s more, they must be followed by various promoters.

5.Which events or festivals were memorable for you?
In Thailand, it’d be ‘Wonderfruit (Festival)’. It had good vibes and good music.

6. What do you like to do when you're not a DJ?
Besides working, I like to go to the provinces, forests, waterfalls, the sea, as well as smoke marijuana and play with my dogs. Probably nothing more than this.

8.What are your favourite places in Thailand?
My house and the countryside, the forest, and sea.
