The thrill of discovering something new—that’s something that we want to foster. Nobody wants to get caught into the tunnel vision of ever-narrowing music tastes.
In connecting music lovers with DJs, event organisers, and club owners, we want to give back to the scene. We want to support local talent, to connect new up-and-coming voices with the places that they can be heard, and the people that are interested in listening.
We want to provide for the scene to be more inclusive, regardless of gender, race, and sexual orientation—to be a place that celebrates plurality, and which embraces difference instead of rejects it. That’s what electronic music can offer, in creating spaces that unexpectedly bring people from all walks of life together—and if the connections that these spaces give rise to are sometimes too temporary, we want to find ways to make them lasting. The dance floor is, if nothing else, a place where connections are made.
