Rifain’s sound is powered by an experimentalism that twists and turns through varied genres with a consistency that cloaks it in its own unique nature. Di Linh is a young artist from Vietnam. Since she began the musical path, she has been making her mark by the diverse and colorful music selection. She is a part of Hanoi Underground Movement (HUM) and resident DJ at Savage. Till this day, Di Linh often plays in familiar places like Savage, Kobala, Smack Dab,... through local events HUM, Snug, SBD, This is, Guinguette, Unuzual and Quest, Duality, Recess, Studio Adventure, Epizode Festival. Besides, her name also appears the same night with well-known artists such as Lauer, Red Rack’em, Local Suicide, Haruka, Omer, Curses and many more around the world in Epizode. And the highlight of her music career was her performance in HUM Showcase (Epizode) with Marco Yanes, which also mentioned in the official review from Data Transmission. Each space gives her different inspirations, Di Linh is always looking and developing herself to give the audiences a fresh feeling, while still retaining her own unique color. It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the dance music scene wherever he has laid down roots. His approach to a dance floor is as simple as it is intuitive and elegant: nothing that can make a room shudder with joy is barred from his selections.As the founder of Hong Kong’s Cliche Records, he was one of the first in that city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that shifted the understanding of what could be danced to there. He went on to create the magnetic Homesick and Fragrant Harbour labels, before suddenly setting his sights on Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established the dance mecca Savage where he runs the monthly queer night Snug. And on top of all that, he found time to curate the coveted Equation festival, now entering its second year..

Anh Vy is one of the youngest Djs in the Saigon underground scene and one of The Observatory’s newest residents. He's recognised by the versatility and flexibility in music. He was one of the resident DJs of former Upper Saigon. As time goes by, he is making himself into an interesting and promising piece of Saigon’s underground scene as an artist and a contributor with his very own uniqueness.

As one of the emerging DJs from the new Serbian scene, having moved to Hanoi, Dusan has been flirting with many genres trying to find the right balance between minimal and acid house, deep and dub techno all the way to electro and breakbeat. Leaning on the authenticity of the organic sound, he builds his sets always feeling the crowd and the space. He currently hosts a show on DSTRACKTD platform named Flux.

Saigon brewed Khoi Mai, and after traveling near and far, he relocated to his home country in 2018. Quickly becoming one of the key players in Hanoi as part of the Savage crew, he recently moved back to Saigon, where he is now the newest resident of The Observatory. Khoi presents a fun and light-hearted attitude to dance music with eclectic selections and a dreamy, percussive sound. Moving smoothly between genres, Khoi puts his personality and influences to use on any dance floor he’s put in control of, with constant grooves, surprises and delights.

Miya is by many measures a key component of the Asian electronic music scene. She played an integral role in the early game-changing agency that was Cliché Asia in Hong Kong before becoming the Co-founder and resident DJ of Savage Club in Hanoi. Always one to set her dance floors on fire, Miya masterfully blends rare and refined music from across space and time - from long lost disco gems to bass-driven futurism - delivering a sonic experience that is built for relentless movement throughout a night. Her sound is a diverse blend of the styles that first and foremost make her dance. Her sets are as unpredictable as they are captivating. The energy she generates behind the decks radiates out of her and will take you into a deep-diving cruise through her energized sounds. Bringing diversity to the decks as an avid dancer, organizer and DJ, Park Lee (Giang Bac) is a Vietnamese-mixed Korean who grew up in Ho Chi Minh City. Having spent some years away, Park was only inspired to start DJ-ing once he had relocated back to his home, where he found himself developing alongside the city’s burgeoning music scene.Park started off through playing at small house parties, and quickly grew into a regular in the local scene. This led him to begin organizing events with friends, most notably the GenderFunk party series in Saigon, a breakthrough collective and pioneer in creating safe spaces for local Queer artists and community, and their own brand of creativity, musical diversity and live performance since 2018.

Carrying a solid background in Serbian scene by appearing in the local reference EXIT festival and being resident DJ for Club Tunnel Novi Sad, Techa always brings his powerful and colorful music by selecting old school techno, house and electro tracks. He tries to take the audience on a new intergalactic journey every time.

Growing up in Moscow influenced by hip hop and old school love songs, Zwi finds his personal style resulting in a timeless sound that is as grimy as it is sensual. Expect a face-scrunching blend of dark and groovy from an avid digger showcasing introspective house, UKG, techno and electro. Zwi is resident DJ at Hanoi-based Savage and pushing the local party scene through METRØ.

A selector drawn to dubby-electro tech and bass heavy house, he also weaves between minimal and upbeat. Co-founder of club night METRØ, he has recently featured alongside Dr. Rubenstein, Prosumer and Answer Code Request and most recently Barker at Savage, one of South East Asia’s most well known clubs. He’s also played at other credible events such as Studio Adventure in Hanoi and Jai Thep Festival in Thailand.

A veteran of the UK's jungle and soundsystem scene, with various releases and countless events under his belt Humb is a long term resident of Vietnam having run venues and parties in the city for many years. The development of the Hanoi scene has influenced his production style heavily, pushing him to attack new styles and to look backwards to the roots of electronic music. His sets favour high energy sounds and percussive tracks paired with a fast mixing style designed to whip dancefloors into a frenzy.

Born in the early 90s in Belgrade - the city with a strong rave culture. He considers music as a very important and integral part of his life. Janko spent a great amount of time collecting old and new records - a collection of smooth and delicate electronic gems with no restriction for style, mood or era. He nurtures a sound that is both distinctive and abstract. His musical palette encompasses a wide range of genres, moving seamlessly through - house, breaks, electro or techno . With a background in hip hop, soul, and R&B, KMG has been building his eclectic collection for over a decade, since life in the states. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to dance music. This has seen him dive deeply into House and Acid as well as taking inspiration from a wide range of music and mixing influences. Those sets are a clear indicator of the depth, thought and time that it has taken to create such experiences, whether it is in or out of the club. Joining to industry sound collective Cipher (Hong Kong) as regional DJ since 2019.

MadderModes is a British deep house and techno duo consisting of Nic Ford and Andy Harper. Now a transcontinental project - with production taking place between Manchester and Saigon - MadderModes’ first official release came in 2014 with a self released 12" under their own Shift Coordinate Points imprint. After that came their 2015 release on Millions Of Moments 'Green Corn Moon EP' which contained a track entitled 'Myth Of The Muses" which was included on Berghain resident Nick Hoppners RA mix and made its way into the playlist of Move D. In late 2015 came "Dark Dust EP" on Andre Kronert's Night Drive Music and in early 2016 the "Empirical Evidence EP" was released on Voodoo Down US records - “The mood is warm and ever so slightly psychedelic across all four tracks on the Empirical Evidence 12”, not least on the sublime opening cut “Corinthian Columns” with its cascading new age melodic lines and delicate drum machine patterns.”

Born in 91’, growing up surrounded by the vast open spaces of Vietnam's countryside, the gloomy yet energetic colors and sounds of nature flowed over into my music, creating adventures on the dance floors. As an active member of the Mugic collective of deejays and party promoters based in Singapore, MyHero continues his more than 15 years of playing lounges, clubs and parties in the US and across Asia. Nic Ford moved to Vietnam from the UK around 10 years ago, and has been running and featuring on lineups of parties throughout the region since then. He has been a resident of The Observatory since it first opened in 2013. Honing his skills since the mid-nineties, he held his first residency at Dry 201 in Manchester and is a voracious collector of a vast array of music. He’s also a highly acclaimed producer, being one half of MadderModes, a production outfit that has releases on a range of impressive labels including DRED, Voodoo Down Records and Millions of Moments.

Njuns started focus on DJing in Vietnam few years ago, and soon after joined the label and booking agency Cliché Records in Hong Kong. In 2017 he reconnected with Hanoi by joining the team behind Equation festival. Playing often in the city, he quickly became a resident DJ at the club Savage. He's also the founder of Pan d'Or festival in France. His musical spectrum goes from groovy techno to electro with some subtle house and breakbeat touches. Njuns has had the opportunity to play in other places like ://about blank in Berlin, Château Perché Festival in France, TAG in Chengdu, Mihn / Oma / Social Room in Hong Kong or Miller Night Bazaar Itaewon in Seoul. He also played alongside international names such as Objekt, UVB, Omar S, Discrete Circuit, Manuel Fisher, Oliver Deutschmann, Borrowed Identity, ATEQ (Giegling)or Bézier (Honey Soundsystem) to name a few.

Originally from Lyon France, He made his debuts in the Portuguese underground Scene in early 2017. Where he quickly got the attention for his colorful techno selections. Then Entered Hanoi Djs scene in the insane duo Funky 69. Bringing the most un expectable funk and soulful music sets, rare high energized tracks. In a year they grew their notoriety till the cities top clubs and events.

A dj career that spans over 11 years has seen him play in all the top clubs in his hometown of Dublin and also more recently in Hanoi where he is now based. Steve is also avid vinyl collector, club night promoter and familiar name on the Irish festival circuit. Expect to hear sounds across a broad sonic spectrum ranging from classic disco, old skool 90's house and African grooves, to retro italo bangers, acid techno and everything in between.

TaoFu is the freshest member of Atipik crew coming from Hanoi, Vietnam. Ume is the Japanese DJ originally from Osaka and currently based in Saigon. He began his path as a selector in the underground parties surrounding his hometown, He is a member of the Mogra Radio. His music is a delicate soundtrack to the “here and now”. It is difficult to attribute it to any single genre, it is a reflection of the moment in time, atmosphere and mood of music lovers around. His sets are always filled with rhythmic grooves, extravagance and echoes from different cultures and worlds.

Youssef The fresh faced Moroccan has been developing his style fast, always ready to throw down. Traveling through time and space, moods and cultures. He may begin with you in the far East and wrap up with the sounds of Berlin. Charismatic. His ear for intricate beats that move the room has helped vastly as he's been finding himself as a DJ, after offering huge support of the music scene in Vietnam with endeavors such as Sacred hill festival, HANYA NIGHT, and Electric Bazaar, as well as being instrumental in the growth of the collaborative outfit Sacred Sounds.

Born and raised in Hanoi in 90’s, his musical education began from a really young age, and he has always enjoyed the rhythm of it. He put himself seriously into digging and playing when he met ToK at Kobala, where they work together and share the decks every weekend. That’s where he got his nickname, "the Kobala Kid", as he represents the place, not only musically but through his personality too. Since then, he has been organising his own nights inviting the rising talents of the city, and playing in some of the best clubs and parties in town.
