With roots from Taiwan and Japan, Yoshi Nori cut his teeth as a DJ in Chicago around 2003. Not only was he heavily influenced by raw Chicago house sound, combination of minimal side of neo-Detroit, and renaissance of early 2000 post-punk movement shaped as foundation for his ever unpredictable DJ sets. Starting 2020 Yoshi Nori has launched a brand new label "禁 Jin". This project aims to not only introduce Taipei's local talents but also connect with secret gems in Asia's fast-rising production field while providing an injection of colorful international producer juice that can morph the various local elements into an unpredictable futuristic 4/4 sound, in a way foreshadowing what Asia is moving towards.

A regular inside the DJ booth of Pawnshop, Taipei - Gemnital used to live in Berlin and study to be a sound artist. Gemnital, who grew up inthe 90s, embarked on a musical journey ranging fromHip-Hop and R&B to rock, jazz, experimental music,exploring the realms of psychedelic, funk, and disco. As time went on, he delved deeper into various genres but eventually circled back to Mandarin golden melodies. During his studies in Leipzig, Germany, he found himself immersed in underground warehouse parties held in ruins and forests. Later in Berlin, he discovered his true self in a multitude of clubs and queer parties, mastering the art of creating and maintaining energy and ambiance within different spaces. Now back in Taipei, he is a regular DJ at Pawnshop and a regular member of the popular queer party "Hakone Hotspring" and "Homepleasure". On the dance floor, he aims to play without boundaries, seamlessly blending familiar and unfamiliar tracks picked from his diverse musical experiences, creating an atmosphere of pure dancefloor bliss. Recently, he has been exploring the intersection of Techno and House, seeking speed and exhilaration from genres like Hardgroove, and strives to craft sets that take the listeners on a captivating journey with well-defined peaks and transitions. Beyond his DJ persona, Gemnital is deeply involved in sound research and the field of sound art. He is a university lecturer and critic in the realm of sound art, and his personal sound walks and installation works have been showcased at art festivals such as Berlin's 48 Stunden Neukölln.

Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT and Nowadays, Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Tresor, About Blank, Output, Griessmuehle, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant lighting up dancefloors all over; in particular, garnering attention in the queer party scene. This mixes well with her ethos: using her influence to create space for marginalized groups to express & organize themselves. Over the past year, DJ FFAN has been showing his strong presence in the underground club scene of Seoul, while playing liaison role between Seoul and overseas dance music scene. He has been hosting various party series including The Monkey Business, Dub Plate and Anger Management Disco Club, and making it very successful with a lot of great guests from Asia, Europe and North America, such as Chida, Eric Duncan, Justin Van Der Volgen, The Backwoods, Tiago, Gonno, Hugo Capablanca. FFAN is the son of DJ Lee Jin, who is the Korea’s very first club DJ, which means he’s making special geneology as the only second generation DJ in Korea. In 2009, FFAN started DJing as a resident DJ of Club Via. Then he made his mark by becoming a member of Lad Monkeys and Disco Experience. In 2010, he started hosting a party series called ‘The Monkey Business’, and raised himself as a next generation DJ of Korea’s Disco & House music scene. He’s known for captivating people on the dancefloors by multifarious sounds and storytelling, mainly based on Dub Disco, House and Techno. Born and raised in Paris, Gigi moved to New York in her teens after being awarded a dance scholarship at the NYC Ballet and Alvin Ailey where she studied and practiced dance at the highest level before moving onward to her current residence of London where she continues to make waves with her unique approach to Music, Sound, Dance and Art. It wasn’t long until she became a firm fixture of South-London’s close-nit music scene, taking part in organising parties in DIY spaces and DJing regularly across the city (with regular appearances at London’s revered ‘Make Me’ parties). Listing Donato Dozzy, Bjork, Function, Neel, Aleksi Perrälä, Pierre Henry, E. Satie and Suzanne Ciani to name a few among her musical influences, Gigi is as creative in the studio as she is on the decks. Hamburg native Helena Hauff is an in-demand DJ as well as an acclaimed producer of gritty, hard-edged electro-techno. After all, what other DJ can lay claim to the title of Miss Teen Filipina Hawaii? How many, after moving to New York by way of San Francisco in the early ’00s, can say that they helped to rejuvenate the city’s then-stale nightlife via her residency at one of the best parties ever held in a hole-in-the-wall gay bar, the Mad Clams affair? How many have tasted stardom as one of the original members of the scene-making dance-music collective Hercules and Love Affair? Exactly one, and it’s Kim Ann. Mogwaa is one of South Korea's shining stars. Iranian born but California based Artist/DJ Mozhgan has been honing her dark arts on the decks for quite some time. Mozhgan is a sonic alchemist who’s musical languages traverse between mysterious planes and wondrous vortexes. Entering its fifth year More Rice has become one of the key names in South East Asian Underground Dance Music. As a DJ and Producer Sarayu is considered as an integral player in Bangkok’s growing underground house and techno scene. His UK driven sound has taken all over the world playing venues and festivals such as Zukunft, Silbergold, Village Underground, Fabric and Feel Festival. He can be seen playing regularly at some of Bangkok’s key parties and venues such as Never Normal, De Commune, Karma, Transport and Wonderfruit Festival. Under quarantine in 2020 Sarayu released his first track on a VA compilation “Harvest Vol. 1”, under his own imprint. In 2021 he released his debut EP “Pridi 303” again, on More Rice, remixed by MR. Ho. As well as, opening More Rice Record Store, a hotspot for music lovers and vinyl diggers all over the world and launching Bangkok Community Radio. Early 2023 Sarayu released his latestl EP “Intelligent Jump Rope Music” scheduled for release on Boiled Wonderland Records, keep an eye out for more remixes and releases over the course of this year.

Active in the music and fashion business for more than a decade, Simone de Kunovich is associated with some of Milan’s most iconic parties and clubs. His eclectic selection and unconventional taste made him one of the key figures in the local scene as well as an active Dj internationally, with gigs in Berlin, Tel Aviv, Bangkok, New York, Paris, London and more. The upcoming year is gonna see him releasing a series of EPs inspired by his studies of 60/70s European cinema on Superconscious Records, the Australian label managed by Fantastic Man and Francis Inferno Orchestra.

It’s hard to pin Sivanesh’s style down. Crafting and developing his own brand of sultry off-kilter house and groovy heads-down techno through his long-standing residency at CÉ LA VI Singapore, his sound goes above and beyond current genres and trends. At its 5th year now, the residency sees him taking charge of the world-renowned main room, playing extended DJ-sets every Sunday night. Apart from this residency, Sivanesh is a regular fixture at some of the region’s most respected venues, with regular dates at The Headquarters and Kilo Lounge in Singapore. Co-founder of Sivilian Affairs and music director for Potato Head and Kilo in Singapore, Sivanesh also holds a monthly residency on AAJA Radio in London every third Monday of the month. Friends for almost 2 decades, the two Joshuas formed Space Afrika after years of listening to music together, sequestered by harsh Northern winters. Heavily inspired by the industrial architecture of Northwest England and notions of travel, their sonic framework evokes images of rust and disintegrating concrete, and sensations of movement and redemption — exuding a distorted analogue soul offering escape into their overcast skies. Originally from Hawaii & Taiwan, now Brooklyn based DJ/producer Timo Lee. She plays regularly in NYC, the curator of all vinyl sessions at Good Bar & label boss of Chomp! Chomp! Her style is eclectic to keep your finger tapping & head bobbing. Timo Lee emerged her background in Honolulu and Taipei. From early childhood, Timo has kept her ear to the speaker, fingers tapping to the rhythm. A child of the 90’s, she was weaned on rave culture’s pulsing electronic beats. As the 2000’s progressed, her tastes evolved as she embraced underground disco, house, electronica. Timo hosted a weekly three-hour radio show for 8 years on KTUH Honolulu, and played with numerous talented DJs including DJ Harvey, Bonobo, James Murphy, Thomas Bullock, DJ Garth, Tiger and Woods, Daniele Baldelli, Tim Sweeney and more at thirtyninehotel. She was the booker for the club for 6 years and very involved with shaping the local dance scene in Hawaii for the past decade. Timo relocated to Brooklyn NY in 2014, flying back and forth from NYC to Honolulu for her bar, Bevy, a popular nightspot in Kaka’ako. She is spending most of her time here in NYC, playing regularly at Good Room, The Lot Radio and numerous nightclubs in the city. She is a long-standing member in the Brooklyn dance music community and is the curator behind "Wax the Van" - a weekly all vinyl listening session at Good Bar, also label boss of Chomp! Chomp! First blowing a gale as a forerunner of the new wave of Melbourne dance producers, Tornado Wallace’s distinct and perceptive electronics now find him in a constant rotation of both hemispheres, spending most of the year based in Berlin. From formative house beginnings, the ESP Institute initiation Thinking Allowed proved Tornado Wallace as a force to be reckoned with - the driving groove and Will Powers stargazing quickly matched by an EP of eco-electro burners on Beats In Space. This two timing continued for another round with ESP issuing the elegant Circadia, while Beats In Space got their churning acid two-tracker Kangaroo Ground/Ferntree Gully. In tandem, krautback duo Coober Pedy University Band was formed with Otologic’s Tom Moore, who he’d previously stirred up trouble with as fractions of C Grade and Animals Dancing - two long standing parties of undeniable impact on their hometown.
