First blowing a gale as a forerunner of the new wave of Melbourne dance producers, Tornado Wallace’s distinct and perceptive electronics now find him in a constant rotation of both hemispheres, spending most of the year based in Berlin. From formative house beginnings, the ESP Institute initiation Thinking Allowed proved Tornado Wallace as a force to be reckoned with - the driving groove and Will Powers stargazing quickly matched by an EP of eco-electro burners on Beats In Space. This two timing continued for another round with ESP issuing the elegant Circadia, while Beats In Space got their churning acid two-tracker Kangaroo Ground/Ferntree Gully. In tandem, krautback duo Coober Pedy University Band was formed with Otologic’s Tom Moore, who he’d previously stirred up trouble with as fractions of C Grade and Animals Dancing - two long standing parties of undeniable impact on their hometown. Boys’ Shorts sound is a blend of everything they love to mix in their DJ sets, from disco to breaks and slow techno to acid. ̸BIOGRAPHY Music Lover For some DJs, music will forever be in the foreground of their mind; every free moment is spent searching for new music or conceiving ways to blend new discoveries. Italian born Budino is one of these DJs, hers is a constant quest for fresh material to weave in her sets – sets that exist in clubbers minds as glorious psychedelic tapestries sewn from dark trance-inducing beats, tribal percussion and rich cosmic textures. Given this dedication and dexterity it’s unsurprising that praise is heaped so readily on Budino’s sets. After moving to Berlin and playing throughout the city since the age of eighteen, she was soon co-running the party series Oscillator at the now defunct and much lamented iconic club Griessmühle, along with its sister vinyl only label. She soon became a mainstay behind the decks at the infamous institution of queer hedonism that is Cocktail d’Amore and has since held a residency there for many years. With a diligence to seek out the perfect music for every moment, Budino has spent many years honing her craft creating unique edits that breathe versatility into the music she has dug deep to find. This often means when you hear her play, it may well be the only moment ever in which will you ever hear that version. However, a handful of these edits have seen the light of day on New York vinyl label JustWhatTheWorldNeeds. Budino has also been responsible for curating the fourth edition of Love International festival’s compilation series ‘The Sound of Love International’’. It reflects her interpretation of the ideal soundtrack for an endless and idyllic day into the night on the beaches of Tisno on the Adriatic coast, nodding to her comprehensive taste as a selector. With her enthusiasm, devotion and impeccable ear for music, Budino continues to go from strength to strength as a DJ and has plenty more of her passion to share with dance floors around the world.

Based between Athens and London, Lee Adams is a multi-media artist, DJ and curator who has worked extensively with sound, film and visual installations, from re-scoring a lost David Toop soundscape for conceptual artist John Latham, to collaborating with noise violinist Mia Zabelka on the touring project Rotten Sun. Working under the name Choronzon he plays brutal, expansive and cinematic dj sets fusing elements of techno, noise, experimental electronics and body music for clubs, galleries and festivals across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. In addition to his nineteen year residency at the helm of Kaos London Lee has made guest appearances for the CTM Festival at Tresor, Khidi, Forte Festival, Champ Libre, Macadam, Balenciaga at Rex Club Paris, Gegen Berlin, Astron Bar for Fasma Festival Athens and Exist, the first electronic music festival in Ramallah, Palestine. He curated and performed at The Boiler Room: Kaos London edition and has completed a four year residency on Rinse FM. He has created podcasts for New Brvtalism, Phormix, Root Radio (Istanbul) and Mindless (Morocco). He runs Khemia Records and also curates the Kaos London Podcast series. After a couple of releases under various different monikers, the work attracted the ears of deep house label Paper Recordings based in Manchester and the creature that is Crazy P was born. We won’t bore you all with and year by year history of what happened next and how we ended up with a name like Crazy P as rumour and speculation are far more interesting than the truth. Their first four albums ‘A Nice Hot Bath With’(1999), ‘The Wicked Is Music’ (2002), and ’24 Psychedelic Freakout’ (2003), and ‘A Night On Earth’ (2004), coupled with the addition of live band members Tim Davies, Matt Klose, and the vocals of the inimitable Danielle Moore saw Crazy P gain acclaim, record sales, DJ gigs, and most pertinently, live shows, across the world. Equally at home on huge outdoor festival stages in Australia or basement sweatboxes in East London, Crazy P have made their name with a unerring combination of lushly structured songs and live power, whilst never forgetting their roots on the dance floors of the late 90s’ house, disco, and soul clubs. 2008 saw Crazy P sign with 2020 Vision – a natural fit for the band with their their roots in early house and techno, and an eye to the future of both. ‘Stop Space Return’ (2008) was the superb first fruit of this new label hook up, with the album’s title track becoming something of an anthem for both DJs and as part of the band’s live show. Dar Disku is a label celebrating music from across Arabia. Founded by Mazen AlMaskati and Vish Matre in 2019; the label encompasses all things High NRG, New Beat, Strange and Pure. Growing up less than a mile apart in Bahrain with a shared fascination with discovering new music, the duo quickly bonded over digging for unheard rarities and burning mixtapes to show friends and strangers, and till today, this remains changed. Darshan Jesrani’s recording project “Metro Area” (together with partner Morgan Geist) has left an indelible mark on the dance music landscape. Known for its forward-looking, freestyle recombination of influences, Metro Area’s work revolves around experiments with classic production styles and the songwriting focus of disco, new-wave/synth-pop and R&B. Metro Area has injected much needed doses of funk, sensuality, mood and space back into the loop-based and seldom-subtle world of underground dance. Their 2002 debut album elicited superlative responses from The New York Times to The Onion, from web-logs to the Wire. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a life long student of the tenets of House Music. The year 2020 found her at the top of her game after a debut European tour during August 2019, her name was popping up on top bills on a weekly basis in NYC. Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant lighting up dancefloors all over; in particular, garnering attention in the queer party scene. This mixes well with her ethos: using her influence to create space for marginalized groups to express & organize themselves. In 2016 she said goodbye to her hometown to recharge musically in Berlin and acquire new skills in producing. Now, 5 years later, she is not only completely at home in Berlin, but more importantly in her sound. She had her first gig in 2001, and from then on there was no turning back. Making music – that's what she always wanted to do. From the very start, being a passive listener at the club was not enough for her. So she found her first mentor. Over the years, she has continued to grow. Today, as Donna, she steps up to the DJ booth in her most authentic form. When DJing, Donna follows her intuition, letting herself be guided by the atmosphere in the club. There is rarely a planned set, but what the tracks always have in common is their pulsating energy, their drive. It can be groovy and melodic, but also darker and harder. Donna feels every track she plays one hundred percent. From house to techno, to 90s groove, Detroit sound, acid, breakbeats, electro and IDM, it is all there – depending on what mood she perceives in the club and what resonates best with the moment. As a child of the 90s, she is influenced by the sound of those years. Her residencies in different clubs, her bookings and release tours as well as her own radio show have also had a lasting effect on her. Her love for synthesizers and hardware comes through loud and clear as well. She finds inspiration everywhere and relies completely on her keen intuition. For Donna, being able to DJ music is still a privilege today, and you can feel it. It sometimes almost feels magical when the tracks blend seamlessly together and people dance endlessly. ̸BIOGRAPHY With individuality and experimentation at her core, Ellie Stokes is very much her own DJ. Having immersed herself in Bristol’s music scene since arriving in the late 00s, she could reasonably be considered a product of the city’s unique creative culture. Let’s sidestep tired ideas about trip hop and D&B for a second and focus on the West Country capital as a hotbed of broadminded experimentation, with a community ethos and supportive framework that encourages talent to shine through. Stokes was already working within the music industry when she started to channel her passion into DJing – she was working at vital independent venue The Love Inn, one of the hubs of Bristol’s underground music culture, where she’s now the booking agent and venue manager. When the female / non-binary Mix Nights DJ course began (helmed by leading lights such as Danielle and Daisy Moon), Stokes found the right nurturing environment to discover her instinct for selecting and spinning, initiating a career which has grown exponentially ever since. New York-born DJ and Lot Radio resident Gabrielle Kwarteng is on a steady, slow-burning rise upward. Her guest shows won her a Mixcloud Online Radio Award and a regular slot, which garnered her a loyal following and led to bookings across NY and beyond. Gabrielle Kwarteng’s journey so far is one of passion, dedication and the occasional strike of fate. Born and raised in New York, Kwarteng’s name has recently risen in prominence throughout a challenging time for dance music and club culture. A DJ, radio host and curator, her sets have recently enchanted Panorama Bar in Berlin (four times in less than twelve months, no less), equally vital club spaces such as NYC’s Nowadays and Manchester’s own White Hotel, as well as a span of festivals including Love International, Glastonbury, Melt and Dekmantel Selectors. Listening to Kwarteng, whether in a cavernous rave hall, a sweat-soaked underground club or making intimate selections on the radio, is an experience that feels at once familiar but always energizing. Outside her front door, in a thriving neighborhood of diverse American experiences, entire sounds and scenes expanded and exploded as pop-culture began to mutate in new ways, both online and off. Crossing to Manhattan for school, the tempo changed entirely as rock, hip hop and experimental music filled Kwarteng’s ears while she studied intensely. Her academic focus was paramount, but Kwarteng couldn’t help but drift back towards the beat. First, from sciences to arts, where, at an esteemed upstate New York university, her dedication to trawling music blogs rendered Kwarteng the de facto DJ for house parties. She also began broadcasting on college radio; her daybreak show was a particular hit with professors arriving to work early to mark before lectures. Bouncing back to New York, Kwarteng continued to present a show on the burgeoning online radio station The Lot. In 2017, she was presented with the Mixcloud Online Radio Award for Best Eclectic Show, an early and completely unexpected acknowledgement of an instinct for music that traversed genre expectations. In parallel, Kwarteng played each and every Saturday night in the majestic ballroom of the SoHo Grand, amassing vinyl for a residency that helped define the uptown musical scene with her own downtown sensibilities. Now based in Europe, Kwarteng continues to criss-cross not only genres, but continents. Overcoming her inherent introversion to nervously approach Giles Peterson at a record store in Paris proved fortuitous; so impressed was the storied DJ by Kwarteng’s show on local station Le Mellotron, he invited her to appear at his own festival, Worldwide. Galen founded Sunset Sound System by setting up a generator and speakers at a park in Berkeley, California every Sunday to spin records he didn’t get a chance to play anywhere else. Word spread and soon crowds into the thousands we’re dancing and picnicking while watching the sun set behind the San Francisco skyline. Today, Sunset Sound System is on the move with incredible boat and outdoor parties as well as the annual internationally acclaimed Sunset Campout Festival. Galen developed his signature sound through these weekly jams and as well as his technically proficient yet fluid dj style. The psychedelic music scene of 90s San Francisco provided a launching point to his extensive vinyl collection that spans many genres from classic disco to post-punk to roots reggae and modern house music. His sets can travel a diverse range yet maintain a conscious groove of cohesiveness, always appropriate to the time and place. They are thoughtful, yet never pre-planned, with artfully-timed track selections that spark any dance floor, appealing to the old school just as much as the new. Having worked in event management for 10 years, Gin is keenly aware of how this area has a huge potential for activism and community wellbeing within the context of prioritising the lives, experiences and culture of marginalised people. It is for this reason she is both excited and revitalised by the prospects of being part of real change through UK Black Pride, an organisation she both admires and respects. Born in Mexico and raised in Bermuda, both countries where homosexuality is stigmatised and until recently criminalised, Gin has first hand experience of the harmful effects at the intersections of homophobia and misogyny. Whilst she has found a home in London, she nonetheless has experienced major push backs in her working environments; she is keenly aware of the myriad issues, both overt and subtle, that affect Black and Brown queer people within bureaucratic systems that actively disengage marginalised people from achieving not just as individuals, but as a community. Behind that name hides Dan, a Swiss-Vietnamese guy who in 2006 began playing live acts mixing beats, house and techno in his hometown of Lausanne, Switzerland with two friends. They quickly made a name for themselves were invited to play in some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals around the country such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo, and Motel Campoto name a few. His deep immersion in the Swiss party scene eventually brought him to Saigon in 2012, and in 2013, he opened The Observatory. After more than a decade spent building an enviable reputation for herself in the clubs of Paris, Jennifer Cardini has become an international concern. Jonathan Kusuma is a musician, producer and DJ based in Singapore and Jakarta. Running his label and Parties Dekadenz in Jakarta, a resident DJ in Headquarters and Tuff Club in Singapore. His main releases have been under the influential music labels I’m a Cliché (Paris) (Automatone EP, 2016) and Cocktail d’Amore (Berlin) (Black Magic EP, 2016), Cocktail d’Amore 10 Anniversary Compilation 2019. Kusuma has also been released by various internationally respected labels, such as Correspondant (Berlin)'s compilations (2016 and 2017), Ene Records (Japan), Power Station (Melbourne). His second release on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy, Journeys In Love came out ijn September with a remix from Joe Goddard and the Super Drama boys. His first release on Phantasy Coarse came out in early 2019 with a remix from NYC mainstay Justin Cudmore with support from Sven Väth, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers and DJ Boring. Releases are lined up for late this year and early 2020. His debut E.P. “Flux/Bang” was released on his own imprint in 2017 with early support from the Black Madonna, featuring it in her “New Names of 2017” mix featured on Pete Tongs show on Radio 1. As the new Millennium dawned Robertson moved on ,releasing several singles for Bugged Out, with whom he has had a long and fruitful relationship. Michelle has been an active advocate for supporting and promoting marginalised and underrepresented artists in the music scene, since her humble early years. She was the founder and Chief Editor of esteemed but now defunct female-run, female-focused music blog www.lipstickdisco.co.uk. She is also the promoter of Bi-Monthly female-focused queer girl party Fèmmme Fraîche at London’s prestigious queer hot-spot Dalston Superstore; which as well as offering a safespace and fun-filled party for queer wmxn, Fèmmme Fraîche also showcases female, female identified and non-binary House and Techno DJ’s, visual artists and performers; with Michelle as resident and guest DJ’s such as Honey Dijon, Peach, Rroxymore, Louisahhh, India Jordan, DJ Heather, Joyce Muniz, Nightwave, DJ Paulette, Smokin Jo, Alinka, Hannah Holland, Lauren Flax, CCL, Kate Simko and Jaguar as well as local, grass-roots DJ’s. ̸BIOGRAPHY Midland is a DJ, Producer and Record label owner from London. Through his productions, DJ sets and record labels, Midland's output comes across as unassuming and surprising in equal measure, at once subtle, refined and totally raucous. As a Producer Midland’s style has nimbly evolved from one record to the next. From his debut release with Pearson Sound (aka Ramadanman) “Your Words Matter” via “Trace” to his most recent EP “The Alchemy of Circumstance” he has explored a vast range of styles whilst managing to keep a core sound that is truly his own. In 2013 he started his label “Graded" to focus on releasing his own music, “Archive 01”, “Drumtrak” and “Blush” all followed. This was followed by the arrival of another label, ReGraded, in which he explored the art of sampling with “Double Feature” and culminating with the release of “Final Credits” a sleeper hit that went on to be voted Mixmags song of the year in 2016. His label InterGraded was launched in 2018 focussed on releasing music by new or emerging artists. He has remixed, amongst others, Dua Lipa, The Chemical Brothers, St Vincent and Darkstar. He helped with production on Jessie Wares “Save A Kiss” alongside James Ford. It is arguable however that he has made his biggest impact with the other side of his craft: DJing. Delivering his kaleidoscopic taste with a mixing technique that nods as much to his British lineage as it does to a smoother European style, he has distinguished himself with an ability to switch styles in a way that always feels totally natural. From the carpeted dance floors at Free Rotation, via regular slots at Berlin’s “Berghain” and “Panorama Bar”, Offenbachs’ “Robert Johnson”, Glastonbury’s “NYC Downlow”, San Francisco’s “Honey Soundsystem”, London’s “Fabric”, “Horse Meat Disco” and "Chapter 10" or any of his “All Night Long” sets at “Phonox” he is able to play in a way that shows a deep understanding of the space and what is needed to bring it alive. In the words of Resident Advisor “there’s a perfect record for every moment, and he usually has it”. His recorded mixes have become word of mouth favourites and in 2016 he won “Essential Mix of the Year” for his entry into the series. In 2017 he recorded “Fabriclive94”, described by Pitchfork as “one of the year's best” and earned compilation of the year from Mixmag who featured him as their first cover of 2018. Fact Magazine said of the mix "Quietly, and without much fanfare, Midland has grown into one of the world’s best DJs. Fabriclive 94 is a testament to what makes him so great”. In addition to regular performances in all important clubs in Zagreb, he played as a guest in Berlin, London, Paris and entire EX-YU region. In the recent years, besides monthly residence at Masters club, Mimi has shut himself in the studio and devoted to production.

Under alias MLCH hides Florian Mélinette, co-founder of FuFu and Hong Kong based Dj. Music lover from his boyhood, this french guy spend most of his time digging in order to drop the secret weapons and classics, switching from Chicago House to Deep atmosphere without forgetting some funky/disco tunes. He play with passion and a desire to get a whole club bouncing. He already played alongside international artists such as Move D, Jayda G, Christopher Rau, Pablo Valentino, Trus'me, Soichi Terada, Jus-Ed, Lay-Far, Crackazat, Sameed,... Mogwaa is one of South Korea's shining stars. A producer with a vast repertoire of styles under his belt, he takes rhythmic cues from a wide palette, including jazz-funk, Latin percussion and dreamwave. His debut release on Peggy Gou's label, for instance, featured funky electro and sparkling Balearic house fit for Ibiza sunsets.

As a radio DJ who started out covering for Sinden’s Kiss FM show in 2010, Moxie has gone on to hold down The Residency and INDJ’s We Trust slots on BBC Radio 1 and continues to have one of the longest standing residencies on NTS. Her weekly show is a staple for the latest in underground house, techno and beyond, peppered with her engaging and charismatic radio chat - hosting guests from some of dance music’s leading artistic forces including Jeff Mills, Midland, Four Tet, Honey Dijon and more. This lead to her being featured in Time Out’s article of London’s 10 best radio shows, and a main focus in Mixmag’s piece about the Rise of The Selector. She’s also provided online mixes for some of the best series around – with Essential Mix, Resident Advisor, Truants, FACT, Solid Steel, and Triple J to name but a few. Alongside her illustrious radio and DJ career, Moxie has established herself as a promoter and label founder with On Loop. Started in 2016, the party has rapidly gained momentum, welcoming artists such as Matthew Herbert, Josey Rebelle, Leon Vynehall, K-Hand and Joy Orbison, in venues across Europe and the UK. Iranian born but California based Artist/DJ Mozhgan has been honing her dark arts on the decks for quite some time. In 2011 she started "We Are Monsters," a party to develop her passion for contemporary, dark, and mysterious dance floor sounds. Mozhgan is a sonic alchemist who’s musical languages traverse between mysterious planes and wondrous vortexes. Her singular technique focuses on uncanny juxtapositions of sound that seamlessly unify and project spiritual light, creating luminous pronunciations that voyage deep into the shadowy spaces of the subconscious. DJ, speaker, contemporary trained dancer and founder of B.A.D. Hailing from south-east London via Bath, NIKS is a DJ, speaker and contemporary trained dancer as well as the founder of the newly formed Black Artist Database (B.A.D), formerly known as Black Bandcamp. A versatile digger and avid thinker, NIKS’ name and face has risen to the forefront of the electronic music industry as a driving force and powerhouse.

One of Belgium’s most acclaimed DJ, Nosedrip from Ostend. As a Dj, Nosedrip sets moods like no-one else and leaves dancefloors gasping for breath everywhere he goes. An amazing selector who has been regularly playing all over Europe with a remarked appearance at Dekmantel festival last year. In the space of just a few years, Nosedrip made a name for himself with the persistence and focus of a kid that wants to prove all his bullies wrong. From running a regular ambient show on his Mixcloud-page, which has a staggering 30.000+ followers, he went on to launch Stroom.tv. The platform caused quite some waves in the online radio community because of its unique mixture of oddball playlists and distinctive aesthetics. In 2016, his radio show moved to NTS and Stroom.tv turned into a record label focusing on heritage, with Ziggy spitting out killer archival releases from the likes of Alain Neffe, Jan Van den broeke, Vazz and Latvian avant-gardists NSRD.

̸BIOGRAPHY Not An Animal is a label born from the party debris left uncleaned from London’s infamous Bad Passion parties, as ran by Chris Stoker and Andy Bainbridge who's side projects include Machete Savane, Ess O Ess & Latrec . As Chris and Andy’s energy was being devoted more and more to their musical endeavours (Chris - Ess O Ess with Jamie Blanco / Andy - Machete Savane with Saul Richards & more recently Latrec with Ali Colling) it became both a logical and inevitable step that they would eventually see the birth of their own record label, to showcase not only their own music but also that of the friends that they’ve made in over a decade of throwing and attending parties in various guises. It’s this collective nature which means that Not An Animal cannot be pinned down to one single sound, genre or style. The music is instead linked by a commonality of taste and approach from all of the artists involved. While you can draw some slight comparisons with the contributors (which include the aforementioned Ess O Ess and Machete Savane, as well as Man Power, Lauer, Roman Flugel, Chida, Suzanne Kraft, The Backwoods, Kuniyuki, Frank Butters, Justin Van Der Volgen, Discodromo, Tiago & Angophora ) it would be impossible to say that anything truly unites them further than an open aesthetic which is receptive to sounds as various as Techno, Disco, Rock, Balearica and good old fashioned House, and which doesn’t try to draw any distinction between any of them.

Grandmaster Flash called him 'a disgrace to hip hop' when he turned up for his first club date without slipmatts and needles. Harsh, right? He once played a gig at a hospice. He once played a Christmas party for some confused London cabbies in a greasy spoon under the A40 flyover. He once played a gig on an army barracks in Essex. Three men got naked. That bit was actually quite cool. ...anyway, the point of mentioning this malarky is that, years later, it feels like a complete DELIGHT for this London-based DJ to play music in more conventionally conventional places. As versatile as he is eclectic, you are as likely to be floating in outer space one moment as you are rooted to a beat the next. The man born Orpheu de Jong is a Red Light Radio co-founder celebrated for the breadth and depth of his taste and the passion with which he plays. Closely linked with the acclaimed Dekmantel crew for who he is in house designer, Orpheu is a big but back stage player on his native scene, and is now rightfully making a mark on the wider world.

It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the dance music scene wherever he has laid down roots. His approach to a dance floor is as simple as it is intuitive and elegant: nothing that can make a room shudder with joy is barred from his selections.As the founder of Hong Kong’s Cliche Records, he was one of the first in that city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that shifted the understanding of what could be danced to there. He went on to create the magnetic Homesick and Fragrant Harbour labels, before suddenly setting his sights on Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established the dance mecca Savage where he runs the monthly queer night Snug. And on top of all that, he found time to curate the coveted Equation festival, now entering its second year..

Later, stumbling around Berlin, his primitive attempts to emulate the sound of his newfound heroes accidentally land him a bona fide dance floor hit. A gradual but steady stream of EPs courtesy of Dutch dance music powerhouse Dekmantel have allowed his productions to blossom in richer, smoother directions. On 2015’s ‘In Gold’ EP, and throughout the following year’s ‘High Point on Low Ground’, halcyon hallmarks of house - euphoric piano lines, bubbling acid and luminescent keys - are shot through with Donaldson’s tough, distinctive percussion. It’s that same connection with Dekmantel that has encouraged Donaldson to quickly, impressively evolve as a DJ of some distinctive taste and talent. A memorable performance at Dekmantel’s flagship Amsterdam festival in 2015 captured open hearts, lost minds and aching feet. Since then, the sound of Palms Trax has been a fixture on their enormous main stage, drifting seamlessly between vintage house, esoteric disco and the various shades of a bubbling UK underground he has helped define. Occasional back-to-back performances with the likes of Hunee, Young Marco, Antal and Midland, all DJs regularly credited for their breadth of musical knowledge and sheer versatility, speak volumes for Donaldson’s DJing nous, which has lead him on an international trail; from South America to Australia, and from Panorama Bar to Concrete, Contact, De School, and Lux. Donaldson has also-amassed a patient, open-minded following with his cult monthly radio show, the decidedly less-than-culinary ‘Cooking with Palms Trax’, broadcast on Berlin Community Radio since 2015. On each show, Donaldson takes a deep, vinyl-led drive into his adopted history, fostering a level of trust and shared curiosity that has allowed him to helm all-night sets under the ‘Cooking with Palms Trax’ moniker. Into 2018, he’ll be holding down residencies in Boston, Glasgow and Bordeaux, as well as inviting like-minded DJs into his metaphorical kitchen, throughout a series of self-curated evenings into early mornings of music.

As one third of the team behind the Hessle Audio label, David Kennedy a.k.a. Pearson Sound has become more than synonymous with the cutting edge of UK dancefloor music. Beyond her work as a music creator, Powder’s DJing backs up her production style with many influences. Prosumer oscillates between these poles. That holds true for his productions, which are affected by references and historical vertexes, but never feel to be out of time or place. Roi Perez is a Berlin-based DJ, After a headstart playing records in 2011 as a local resident in Tel Aviv’s underground queer clubbing scene, he moved to Berlin in 2013 in order to continue his personal journey of establishing a coherent, creative and diverse musical language, skills, style and knowledge. Not so long after, he started playing to Berlin’s busiest dancefloors, including being invited to play at the notorious fetish club Lab. Oratory and Berghain’s Panorama Bar. In 2015 Roi started touring worldwide, performing in important clubs and destinations all across the globe. Roi’s long, eclectic sets offer a dynamic musical journey through genres and styles, where house and techno music are weaved together with disco and electro to create a hypnotizing, powerful yet playful musical experience. Roi is currently living in Berlin, working as a music selector in the local branch of London’s important music establishment Phonica Records.

Roshan Menon or Roshan is a DJ, photographer and the Founder / A&R of SaturdaySelects; an imprint specialising in music, events and independent radio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Having started DJ-ing back in 2017, Roshan is driven and inspired by the sounds of Moodymann, HUNEE, Louie Vega, LEFTO & Gilles Peterson and the way they control the crowd throughout their set He has opened and played alongside the likes of Soulection artists Jarreau Vandal, esta.,Joe Kay, Jael, The Whooligan, Yukibeb and other notable DJs such as Branko, Peggy Gou, Dixon, Bambounou, Cezaire & Yung Bae. A classically trained pianist and composer, she also studied music production at college before playing synths & guitars in indie bands, while discovering a wide range of electronic and club music. She soon fell in love with the London club scene and the art of DJing and never looked back. A regular DJ on the London club circuit and queer scene, notable appearances include playing London's The Cause on NYE, popular techno party Night Service, headlining the Big Dyke Energy stage at Body Movements Festival and their night at Venue MOT, as well as filming a livestream for Beatport as part of the Rising Stars series curated by Maya Jane Coles where she racked up over 20k viewers live on Twitch. With a self-produced debut techno EP (and neoclassical piano LP) in the works, her high-energy, dark and playful genre-bending sets are rooted in techno but also touch on electro, synthwave, industrial, acid and UK bass. In the summer she recorded her debut guest mix for Rinse FM and has since ventured into composing music for trailers, alongside spending the second half of 2022 honing her production skills and building up a vast and varied collection of original material. 2023 will see her return to DJing more regularly as she gears up for her debut releases.

The track quickly racked up support from Adidas Originals, which playlisted the song in its stores, as well as press outlets including Dazed Korea, The 405, Red Bull and Wonderland, who described Togni as "the DJ to watch". Togni is also a core member of INFERNO, a London-based club collective renowned for fusing club culture, performance art and techno which caught the attention of Dazed and I-D. They hold a residency at The Yard where she is also a resident DJ. Togni has performed in super-clubs like O2 Brixton Academy, Ministry Of Sound, Electric Brixton, Goa (Rome), Sala Cool (Madrid), Milk Club (Turin), Loftus Hall (Berlin), Lanificio 159 (Rome), Club Haus (Milan), Aistope Lounge (Tokyo) and many more. Although she has numerous gigs lined up at Destino Ibiza, Paris, EGG London and Five Miles (where she currently has a monthly residency), Elektrowerkz and in the Island of Mustique, Togni has been focusing her time in the studio. Samantha has currently finished her new EP “Brutus” and it’s already working on a next EP. She is also working on projects with renowned international producers Danny Passerella, Warboy and Hectic. She has tracks lined up to be released on Glauben Records, Industrial Techno United, LSA Live, Subwoofer Records and Loose Lips, for which she will also do a podcast mix. Togni’s work does not finish here, she is due to have more radio shows appearance on Threads Radio in July and Techno.FM in August. The last year alone has seen her releasing tracks on Skint Records, #internetghetto and also self releasing a series of tracks which gained the attention of 60.000 listeners on Spotify. Her latest EP “Trust Issues” caught the attention of Mixmag, which premiered it.

Entering its fifth year More Rice has become one of the key names in South East Asian Underground Dance Music. As a DJ and Producer Sarayu is considered as an integral player in Bangkok’s growing underground house and techno scene. His UK driven sound has taken all over the world playing venues and festivals such as Zukunft, Silbergold, Village Underground, Fabric and Feel Festival. He can be seen playing regularly at some of Bangkok’s key parties and venues such as Never Normal, De Commune, Karma, Transport and Wonderfruit Festival. Under quarantine in 2020 Sarayu released his first track on a VA compilation “Harvest Vol. 1”, under his own imprint. In 2021 he released his debut EP “Pridi 303” again, on More Rice, remixed by MR. Ho. As well as, opening More Rice Record Store, a hotspot for music lovers and vinyl diggers all over the world and launching Bangkok Community Radio. His own night ‘Stripped Down’ at the infamous Kapitel Bollwerk in Bern has recently seen Darren Emerson, Deetron, PBR Streetgang and Maxxi Soundsystem grace the decks and you can always guarantee a true melange of deep energetic house and techno with influences of disco, soul and jazz. ̸BIOGRAPHY Los Angeles Alexandre Mouracade's roots in the Los Angeles music scene span the better part of two decades not only as a musician and DJ, but also as the founder of the globally hyped party, "Making Shapes" and more recently as a charting producer under the moniker, Sonns and Split Secs with Travis Kirschbaum. Mouracade's roots reach as far back as the Southern California punk scene that gave rise to an equally as rich underground club world in the 90s. He studied jazz improvisation, music theory in college which led him into the world of synths, records and record production. Mouracade's music and DJ sets reflect his passion for digging deep and not sticking to a specific genre - but by finding those tracks that have a timelessness to fit any moment on the dance floor. ̸BIOGRAPHY TAAHLIAH is an artist, performer and DJ based in Glasgow, Scotland and London, England. TAAHLIAH is a DJ & Producer from Glasgow. After making her name in the underground queer club scenes of Berlin & Glasgow as a DJ and remixer, she took stage as a producer in 2021 when she started releasing on London label untitled (recs). 
 Her debut-EP "Angelica" (out May 28th) brings together TAAHLIAH's expansive production skills and range of influences, moving effortlessly between squeaky-clean hyperpop textures (Brave, Freefalling) and the jacking hard- dance sounds (FMH, Bourgeoisie, Transdimensional) which defined her much lauded Boiler Room debut earlier this year. 
 Throughout Angelica, the producer details a range of autobiographical experiences that have come to shape her as a person and an artist: from coming to terms with being trans (Brave), to coming from a working class background (Bourgeoisie); from breaking up (Tears) to falling in love (Freefalling). „The challenging sets he delivers are not always easy, but almost always ingenious“ Strange Sounds From Beyond Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ. He’s more than that of course, but as his essence, Ivkovic is someone with a particularly unique talent for selecting records and weaving them into a larger – and often unusually compelling – narrative. Born and raised in Belgrade, he first dabbled in DJing as a teenager in the mid ’80s, but it was only after leaving Yugoslavia (to study in Germany) and later coming back for a summertime visit that he truly immersed himself in the craft, taking up position behind the decks during a series of impromptu parties at a lakeside restaurant owned by his parents. From there, he spent much of the next two decades honing his skills while throwing events like Selected and Substance that played host to a cross-section of boundary-pushing DJs, long before it was fashionable to do so. Eventually, Ivkovic found his musical and spiritual home at Salon des Amateurs, an unassuming spot in Düsseldorf that’s gradually proven to be wildly influential, giving rise in recent years to otherworldly talents like Lena Willikens, Tolouse Low Trax, Jan Schulte and many others, including Ivkovic himself. With its small size, Salon des Amateurs provided something of an open platform, a place where true music lovers could experience DJs exploring sounds and genres that strayed far from traditional electronic dance music tropes. That same adventurous spirit has found its way into Ivkovic’s curation of Offen Music, a label he launched in 2015. TK (formerly TK Disko) cut his teeth in San Francisco’s fervent underground of the 90s, and created a healthy sonic catalogue under the name Split Secs with partner Sonns. He has played more events than one can count, and thoroughly detonated dance floors the world over. TAVISH was born and raised within the Los Angeles music scene, adeptly transmuting from hip-hop to house & techno and back again. He has produced a wealth of records under different monikers and also collaborated with Sonns for a 12” for LA’s own ESP Institute. Amsterdam based DJ and producer that also runs his Safe Trip label. There was a time when Marco Sterk a.k.a. Young Marco’s talents as a DJ and producer were among Amsterdam’s best-kept secrets. For well over a decade, he plied his trade, largely unheralded, on the city’s underground dance music scene. It was here, via several now infamous residencies, that he learnt his craft, gaining a reputation for ballsy, genre-defying eclecticism, playing sets that joined the dots between everything from tropical rhythms, afro gems and quirky Middle Eastern disco, to lost proto-house, throbbing techno and industrial-strength jack-tracks. These days, the Dutchman’s talents are widely known around the World. His position as a crate digger, record collector and infamous party-starter now guarantees a packed schedule of gigs in Europe, North America and beyond. His passion for working a dancefloor with “strange music” and “unclassics” is renowned, and it’s this that makes his sets so special. This humid, off-kilter obsession with the inspired and unusual has become a hallmark of Marco’s music, too. Once a key part of the Rush Hour family – the legendary Amsterdam label releasing a number of his early singles – in 2011 he made his debut on Lovefingers’ highly regarded ESP Institute label. His first two EPs for the label set out his now-trademark style, and won support from the likes of Dixon and James Murphy, amongst others, along the way. It’s perhaps unsurprising that a string of remix requests followed, leading to now classic reworks for the likes of Heatsick, Joakim, Francis Bebey and Soft Rocks. His 2013 remix of Tony G’s “Dreams”, a killer chunk of blissful new age deep house, became one of the most in-demand and sought after records of that year. At the tail end of 2015, the best of these remixes were gathered together on Sorry For The Late Reply, the first release on Marco’s freshly minted Safe Trip imprint. 2014 saw the release of his most accomplished studio work to date, the superb debut album Biology on ESP Institute. Wonderfully picturesque, melodious, humid and glassy-eyed, it received rave reviews and confirmed his status as one of electronic music’s truly unique voices. The same year also saw the release of Clouds, a magical collaborative fulllength written and produced in a weekend with Italian ambient pioneer Gigi Masin and British artist Jonny Nash. Credited to Gaussian Curve and released by Amsterdam’s Music From Memory label, it was the unfeasibly beautiful sound of three like-minded musicians working towards a shared goal. In 2017, Marco is as busy as ever. He’ll be hitting the road April onwards with Gaussian Curve for a handful of live dates around the world in support of their second album The Distance, while his contribution to Dekmantel’s series of crate-digging compilations, Selectors, is due to hit in March. His own label – Safe Trip – will be picking up steam with a string of releases that explore electronic music in many different directions. ̸BIOGRAPHY Technology, Aliens, Detroit Hailing from the Rust Belt suburbs of Detroit, Chris Macom, aka Zen Zero, began his music journey through love of computers. Soon he was experimenting with building computers, exploring audio programs, and connecting random home audio equipment to his PC. Chris had early exposure to hip-hop and dance music from neighborhood friends, and DJs on local Detroit radio shows that would draw him to DJing as a teenager. Coming of age in the burgeoning Detroit rave scene of the late-90s, Chris was exposed to underground house and techno. Playing house parties, dances, and graduations allowed him to hone his DJ skills and nuances of playing for a crowd. Hours on his computer were spent learning the bare bones of audio production, and burning bootleg CDs of DJ mixes to fund his ever growing record collection. After high school, Chris started a record label and makeshift studio with a tight knit group of friends in a dilapidated ice cream truck warehouse. “Hodges” as it became known, was the home base for a stream of parties, a record label, and hours spent in the studio. Here, Chris learned proper recording and mixing from a close friend and business partner. At the same time, Chirs found himself playing an ever expanding amount of DJ gigs around Detroit, as well as serving as a DJ and hype man for local hip hop emcees. With the Detroit rave scene taking a pause in the early 2000s,Chris and his longtime friend started the first Detroit Techno blog and podcast to fill the void and keep themselves sane. During a dry period in Detroit party culture, they used this format to promote events around the city, promote new releases/artists, and interviewed increasingly bigger DJs. At one point it was one of the Top 10 Techno blogs in the world, featuring DJs such as the Detroit Techno Militia crew, Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale, and Dave Clarke. Eventually, being allowed Press access to the Movement festival allowed them to network further in the electronic music community. From here, Chris’s DJ career took off, and you could find him playing at Detroit dance clubs like TV Lounge, The Works, Grasshopper Underground, as well as Ann Arbor's famous Necto Lounge, playing with DJ’s T-1000, Delano Smith, Araab Muzik, Jay Daniel, Monty Luke, Todd Osborn, Tadd Mullinex, DJ Holographic, DJ Minx, and Norm Talley. Recently, Chris formed 5th DImension Detroit with some like minded DJs that encompasses a record label, series of parties, and a crew of DJs. 5th Dimension has thrown parties at Detroit hotspots like Marble Bar, Tangent Gallery, The High Dive, and The Magic Stick, as well as pop up events in Detroit’s Eastern Market and on the Riverfront. Chris has shared the stage with artists like Scan 7, Maceo Plex, Luke Hess, Boo Williams, Hiroko Yamamura, Derrick Carter, Dez Andres, Derek Plaislaiko, and Justin Cudmore. The 5th Dimension label has released Chris’s biggest track to date “Aliens In My Room”, getting international play and featured on the HATE youtube channel. They also recently released “Traveler’s Compilation”, reaching #1 album release on Beatport in the Techno Raw/Deep/Hypnotic genre, with his single “Next Train to Neptune” reaching respectively at #9 in the genre. Chris is currently in the Studio working on his next album and music video that he hopes will take him to an even higher level. As his name implies, he tries to traverse the Techno landscape with Zen and Stoic philosophies in an attempt to live clear minded and do what comes natural.
