Agents Of Time is the project of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo. A revered three­man live act, DJs, masters of their sound in the studio and founders of the Obscura record label. Davide Squillace was born in Siena, central Italy, in 1977. Immediately after his birth, his family went back to its home town, restoring Davide to his own genuine background. The fermenting Partenopean culture particularly marked Davide’s personality, whose sensitiveness – some call it “feminine”- has always been displayed by his production’s qualities. Fancying to dance in the beginning, Davide got in touch with electronic music in 1995, discovering his passion for the innovative sonorities which began to be peculiar to the techno scene of those years. At that time, Davide already had a definite musical taste, ranging from the German and American electro-scene to the experimental music and house music, as well as from the soul music to jazz and hip hop. After a short experience as a promoter, his creative capabilities imposed him a precise path to follow: it is then that Davide decided to broaden the set of knowledge he had acquired in Naples’ underground scene and to move into the socio-cultural capital city of the electro-music world. Only after having finished school, aged 18, he went to London U.K., where he lived for three years and where his creative genius came into contact with the electro-sound generation for the first time. He managed to buy the first music machines: a sampler and an electric drum kit which he produced techno sonorities with. His first works were studies on instrument’s functionalities and their range of use. This research aim in sounds was the distinctive feature of Davide’s style in his London period. With only few music machines and a little knowledge in electronics, he succeeded in producing good quality tracks, so to have his first record published by PRIMATE. Soon after, his talent was noticed by AUDIO and CONTRAST, that soon published some of his EPs. In 1999 he went back to Naples, Italy, where he started DJing now and then. Neapolitan clubs, famous for the top quality DJs that made them vibrate, enthusiastically reacted to his firs sets, so that Davide was immediately launched within the circuit of the Neapolitan techno DJs. Still in 1999, Davide attended the school of Sound Engineering, graduating in two years. In this lapse of time, Davide remarkably limited the number of his productions, keeping himself focused exclusively on technical matters concerning contemporary music art. In 2001 and Davide started to produce tracks again. His high-quality technical knowledge allowed his talent to fully express itself and to bring out unquestionable quality works. DESIGN MUSIC first, then CONFORM, produced some of them, earning excellent judgments in international reviews. Davide was not able to put up with the filters that the labels placed on his sonorities, though. He therefore decided to set up in the SKETCH project, to be finally free to re-create his tastes. This project has now arrived to its number 03 release, that is giving groove and freshness back to the old techno music. Davide’s records, played by DJs worldwide, have been his key to enter the main European techno temples. His dynamic sets are, for everybody, synonym of SKETCH products: light and fast, impregnated with the strength and the quality of this new DJ-style, which Davide is nowadays one the young representative of.

Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Loco Dice is a house DJ/producer with minimal leanings who is affiliated with labels including Four:Twenty Recordings, Ovum Recordings, Cocoon Recordings, M_nus, and Cadenza, as well as the label he founded with production partner Martin Buttrich, Desolat. Born Yassine Ben Achour in Tunisia, he began his career in the early '90s as a rap MC/DJ named Dice'C. As such, he experienced some modest success in his German homeland, for instance releasing the 12" EP Coming from D-Town (1996) on Flavour Records and opening for big-name rap/R&B performers such as Snoop Dogg and Usher. In time he switched from rap to house music and changed his name to Loco Dice in the process. He in turn secured a residency at the Düsseldorf club Tribehouse, where he met superstar producer/DJ Timo Maas, who signed him to his Four:Twenty Recordings label. ~ AllMusic

As far back as the early '90s, Ricardo Villalobos began building an impressive discography of 12" releases on respected dance labels like Playhouse and Perlon, and around the turn of the decade he was one of the most revered producers and DJs in dance music. In his youth, the Chilean-born Villalobos moved with his family to Germany in order to avoid the military dictatorship of Pinochet, and he eventually fell in with the country's fertile house community. A minimalist at heart, he trotted the globe to study percussion in order to apply his knowledge to his productions, which almost always sound remarkably expansive despite their simplicity. After studying classical music in her youth, Sonja Moonear set aside the piano in favour of the turntables and bought a Roland R8. Surrounded by the Swiss mountains, Sonja immersed herself in the Geneva underground before finally infiltrating the ranks of the Weetamix residents in 2002. From that point on, participating in ever more ambitious projects, she was tapped by an international agency and started the road trip. Moonear slowly began collaborating with artists and friends like Luciano or Cosmic Chile Zürich, along with Dandy Jack as Junction SM. She has acquired an impressive international reputation, playing in clubs and festivals worldwide. In the last couple of years she has been releasing her own tracks and remixes on renowned international labels such as Karat and Perlon. She runs the label Ruta5 and organises various events in Switzerland as well as the growing Kiss Me festival.

Snake charmer born and located in Thailand with Indian and Japanese roots. Co-founder of Siamese Twins record label focusing on psychedelic sounds rooted in Asia. Co-runs the Karma Klique collective known for raves at obscure locations. As a producer, he released on imprints such as 禁 JIN, Ute and Siamese Twins under his own name, Mogambo and Khun Fluff aliases. As well as periodic ambient albums on his own Extans Mantra imprint. Which led to sought-after collaborations with Full Circle, Yu Su, S.O.N.S, Marc Pinol, and Benedikt Frey. A household name across the region for over a decade playing spaced-out music in forests, warehouses, and castles.

At the age of 9, she began to learn the traditional Chinese Erhu, a genuinely mysterious folk instrument, two-stringed, played with a bow and made from carved wood and snakeskin, sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or the Chinese two-stringed fiddle. Inspired by her passion for the electronic music scene of Chengdu’s hyped underground, Mei started to fuse traditional Chinese folk music with minimalistic techno tunes.

From his roots in the underground, wAFF has now become globally renowned. His schedule is relentless & the only UK artist to record for three techno hubs, Cocoon, Drumcode & Desolat. He approaches music with unstoppable enthusiasm & attention to detail.

Yaya grows up in Torino, in the resonant Babylon of his home, where the rhythms of his father’s, singer and leading voice of the ensemble M’bamina, drums prophesied a multi-ethnic Italy. During the 70’s the sound of M’bamina spread an exotic afro-beat sound in the smoky clubs of the cold Torino of those days. As a boy Yaya grew up surrounded by the sound of the albums released by one of the pioneer band of afro sound in Italy. Since his teen age, Yaya approaches with the rhythm performing as a drummer around the city. It is when at the age of 17 he purchases a pair of decks, that his blood’s rhythm takes an electronic turmoil driving him to house music: Yaya begins then playing at clubs and parties of the flourished techno-house scene of Turin. At 18, he lands for the first time in the island of music hedonism, Ibiza; his vivacity lead him to play at several afterhours and his musical assertiveness allowed him to be noticed by the entrepreneurs of the white island’s big electronic circus..
