Berlin born DJ, producer and label owner Ben Klock is without a doubt one of the most significant characters in techno’s recent history. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, he has been able to leave his mark on the club’s unique sound, in turn the special space influenced Klock’s approach as a DJ and producer as well. Playing techno sets full of hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves, releasing records on Ostgut Ton and last but not least the aesthetics of his own label Klockworks (founded in 2006), have earned him an excellent international reputation over the last few years. FJAAK, the Berlin-based duo of hardware heads, have been constantly making a name for themselves over the last half a decade. Having grown up together in Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig began quite early to create all different kinds of music before ending up taking on the city’s heritage – techno – to make it their own.

Spain-based producer Eric Estornel initially reserved the name Maceo Plex for his festival-friendly house productions before gradually taking the project into a darker, more introspective direction. After establishing himself in the techno world for his work as Maetrik beginning in the early 2000s, and exploring more abstract electro and IDM as Mariel Ito around the middle of the decade, he began releasing some of his most accessible tracks under the Maceo Plex handle starting in 2009. Over the course of the following decade, the project evolved from deep, sexy house with prominent Chicago and Detroit influences (such as on debut full-length Life Index) to a significantly more dramatic sound (particularly the ambitious Solar). Stephan Bodzin has been a hugely influential figure within the global techno scene for years. The reason the German has endured where many had fallen by the wayside is because of his devotion to authenticity. “Without it, everything would appear to be nothing more than a hollow shell,” says the son of an experimental musician who is now a revered talent in his own right. After starting out by composing music for several prestigious European theatres, Stephan Bodzin soon fell in love with nocturnal club sounds and began producing his own brand of techno. He impressed right from the off and has gone on to work with Oliver Huntemann under myriad aliases including Rekorder or with Marc Romboy including on albums like “Luna” and more recently “Kerberos & Styx” in 2014. Adam Beyer is a Swedish techno producer and DJ. He is the founder of Drumcode Records, and is one of several Swedish techno artists to emerge in the mid-1990s, along with Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlbäck. Adam Beyer’s music is synonymous with all that is exciting about techno. Having emerged as the figurehead of the hugely prolific Swedish techno scene, Beyer’s focused and considered approach to his craft has worked to confirm his position as a globally recognized DJ and producer headlining cutting edge clubs and festivals week-in-week-out. Adam is also one of the most acclaimed production talents on the scene and has consistently delivered cutting edge music across his 3 labels – Drumcode, Truesoul and Madeye. Amelie Lens has risen rapidly through the European techno ranks over the past couple of years. The Belgian’s Lenske label has simultaneously gone from strength to strength, building its name around the five-person crew of AIROD, Farrago, Milo Spkyers, Ahl Iver and Lens herself. 27-year-old Ida Engberg started DJing hip hop and soul aged 14 after a boyfriend showed her how to mix, but she says “I had absolutely no plans on becoming a DJ, I just saw it as a new way to listen to and interact with music and I loved it!” But fate had other plans – while at a friend’s bar aged 18 his regular DJ called in sick. Ida talked her way onto the decks on the proviso that if it wasn’t working after half an hour she’d get off again – by the time she’d finished playing she’d secured her first weekly residence. “I was probably a terrible DJ” she says modestly, “but he loved the music so he booked me every Friday. At this time I was playing lounge music, ambient and soulful house.”,Ida honed her mixing skills and bagged her second residency through more fortuitous timing – working as a host at a big nightclub, Spy Bar, she stepped in for the errant resident DJ who’d had a skinful and promptly disappeared, leaving the dancefloor in silence. The owner immediately changed her job description to DJ, and put her in the main room, kicking off her DJ career proper. “I guess it was there it really started” says Ida. “I was playing house, tribal and electro and I really loved every second of it! I kept my residency there for two and a half years until I decided I wanted to spread my wings a bit.”,A move to Marbella brought 8 months of club gigs, followed by a season in Ibiza which inspired Ida musically like no other place. “I had fallen deeply in love with the minimal techno sound so it was perfect at the time. Everywhere I went it was people with the same passion for music as I had.” At the end of the season, Ida returned to Stockholm landing a top residency at Cocktail Club, the best underground club in Stockholm. “My first gig was a warm up for Eric Prydz and after that I did warm ups for everyone from Damian Lazarus, Mandy, Anja Schneider and Jennifer Cardini to Roger Sanchez and Steve Angello. “Stockholm is a great platform for electronic music. There are so many great producers and DJs living here and people really support each other.”,Although DJing is her first love, it was only a matter of time before Ida tried her hand at production. Her first effort was the massive Disco Volante – signed by John Dahlbäck to his Pickadoll label and released in 2007 with a Sebastien Leger remix it became a huge hit all over the world, featuring on compilations from Ministry of Sound, Defected in the House and Pacha Ibiza. It charted across the whole of Europe, doing especially well in Holland, Belgium and Germany. Two more tracks have followed on Get Physical and Pickadoll plus a remix for Dada Life, and Ida signed with the Plantage13 agency for international gigs. She can be found playing her brand of minimal, techno and tech house in clubs all over the world every weekend, and her love of what she does is obvious to all. His influence runs deep, through both adopted hometown of Detroit, and music culture as a whole: as one of the Belleville Three, the high school trio which also includes Juan Atkins and Derrick May, he irreparably changed the face of electronic music; with Inner City, he gave it some of its most memorable tunes. Saunderson’s comparatively late start as a producer – kicking off in ’87 under the moniker of Kreem, with E-Dancer and Reese two of the more well-known names to follow – inadvertently gifted him a headstart. With the eruption of house music a few hours down the I-94 in Chicago, Saunderson married Detroit’s raw sound to more tactile, pop-leaning sensibilities. As far back as the early '90s, Ricardo Villalobos began building an impressive discography of 12" releases on respected dance labels like Playhouse and Perlon, and around the turn of the decade he was one of the most revered producers and DJs in dance music. In his youth, the Chilean-born Villalobos moved with his family to Germany in order to avoid the military dictatorship of Pinochet, and he eventually fell in with the country's fertile house community. A minimalist at heart, he trotted the globe to study percussion in order to apply his knowledge to his productions, which almost always sound remarkably expansive despite their simplicity. If you had to melt down the appeal of Anastasia Kristensen to just two words, it could well be ‘energy flash’. There are a few reasons it’s a snug fit: for a start, the immediate associations are smoke and strobes, lasers and lights, big-league rave bliss and barely-marshalled sonic chaos; that is to say, maximum fun from a dancefloor perspective, something Kristensen keenly channels as a DJ. The character she exudes as a person, and not just a playlist-for-hire, mirrors it too: a whirlwind in the booth, it’s rare not to see her wide grin glinting through a motion blur of fader tricks, sashaying and vigorous air drumming. There’s also the perfection of imperfection in a flash of energy, a sense of freedom in the face of stultifying codes and norms. Kristensen embodies this, giving the best show of herself in any given point of time without being performative or buttoned-up. Known to her parents as Ana Miranda, she went from playing to a 1,500-strong crowd at the age of 14 in her home country of Brazil to fronting DJ Mag North America in 2019. New music from ANNA has been huge in festival sets for many world-leading techno DJs all summer. Avalon Emerson is from the desert. While she currently lives in Berlin, the music she produces comes from the dreamlike expanse and abstract textures of the Sonoran landscapes of Arizona. Her journey has taken her from that sunbaked state to the contemporary dance music mecca via a long stint in San Francisco, where she cut her teeth as a DJ in the city's storied warehouse party scene. Simon Green aka Bonobo is back with his sixth album – the masterful, magisterial “Migration” – is a record which cements his place in the very highest echelons of electronic music and beyond. By turns lush, manic, beautiful, melancholy, joyful, packed.. Bonobo’s last album, “The North Borders”, went Top 30 in the UK and was number 1 in the electronic charts in both the US and UK. In support, his 12-piece collective (over an 18 month period) played 175 shows across four continents and 30 countries, wowing a total audience of around 2 million people. In fact, Songkick reckoned him to be amongst the most travelled artists on the planet that year. The tour included two sell outs at the Sydney Opera House, an all-day festival at the Roundhouse culminating in a sold out show at Alexandra Palace (10k cap) plus a number of high profile festival slots. Over the course of five albums for the legendary label Ninja Tune, a myriad of tours, singles, remixes and production work for other artists, Bonobo has built a large, loyal and engaged global fanbase: over half a million album sales and over one hundred and fifty million streams on Spotify point to the levels of success achieved by this quiet, self-effacing man. Curtis Alan Jones has a laundry list of monikers he has gone by since his first appearance in the dance music scene in 1991. However, he is best known as Green Velvet and Cajmere. Inspired by the house music craze in the 80s, Jones picked himself up a keyboard, 4-track, and drum machine to try his hand at making music. It turned out he had a knack for it and in 1991, under Cajmere, he began releasing music. In 1992, he started his own label, Cajual Records, and released “Brighter Days”, a collaboration with superstar dance music singer, Dajae. The song hit number 2 on  the Billboard Dance Music Charts. Modern-day publications like Rolling Stone and MixMag have included the single on their lists detailing the best house tracks to date. In ‘95, under the name Green Velvet and on his new label Relief Records, Jones released another single “Flash” that too, skyrocketed to the top of the charts. He continued to produce bangers, putting out albums under the name Green Velvet.

Hamburg native Helena Hauff is an in-demand DJ as well as an acclaimed producer of gritty, hard-edged electro-techno. Her music draws from influences such as acid house, EBM, and industrial, and she records her tracks strictly using analog equipment, usually in one take. Her full-length debut, 2015's Discreet Desires, contains some of her most melodic material, while 2018's Qualm is more stripped-down but no less energetic. Italian native Joseph Capriati is praised for his marathon DJ sets, as well as his sharply produced techno and house tracks. Since launching his career in 2007, he has performed at countless festivals and clubs throughout the world, and released dozens of records for labels like Drumcode and CLR. Born to two Irish-American Detroit autoworkers/civil rights activists, Kevin Reynolds' musical ear was trained by the soundtrack to the late night drives decidedly put on the car stereo by his parents: none other than the urbane and otherworldly voice of celebrated Detroit radio dj, Electrifyin' Mojo... While his mother attended medical school at Michigan State University, Kevin and his family lived in student housing that housed families from around the globe, with neighbors blaring insistent sounds of such diverse backgrounds as Afropop, music from China's urban centers, Tejano music, and spaced melodic sounds from the Middle East. Kevin was self taught when it came to making music with machines; obsessed with being able to create the music he was being exposed to on a daily basis, he approached and helped design the first Music Technology class in his high school... Reynolds' first foray into a professional music career was a call to work at Derrick May's seminal classic label Transmat Records. Initially signed on as an audio engineer fresh out of college in the dry deserts of Arizona, Derrick saw other plans for Reynolds and pushed him to develop knowledge in all aspects of music. While at Transmat, Reynolds was given the opportunity to manage all the audio production functions of the pioneering label. Working as an engineer and tour manager of Derrick May's Hi Tech Soul band Time: Space including Aril Brikha, John Beltran, Neil Olliverra, Tony Drake, Jeremy Ellis he travelled throughout North America, Europe and Japan. Among the many projects executed during his tenure at Transmat, he also curated the official music compilation for "Movement," Detroit's 2004 electronic music festival. In his music you can hear the steely mechanics of Kraftwerk, the powerful blasts of John Coltrane, the emotive synths of Carl Craig, the social commentary of A Tribe Called Quest, the rawness of Jeff Mills, and lush waves of Sergio Mendes. On record, balance is key to his music: “You must have the light with the dark, day with night, and it’s a natural balance of opposites. " Since his initial steps at Transmat, Kevin also had the opportunity to be the US tour manager for Neo Soul artist Amp Fiddler. Founding his own label, Todhchai (which translates to "future, or things to come" in Gaelic), he has composed music for Lexus of America , Blue Cross Blue Shield, Red Bull and the Mayor of Detroit. This lead to the privilege of remixing The Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Stravinsky's riotous "Rite of Spring". In 2006, Reynolds released his first record "Afrik" to critical acclaim and championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, Osunlade, Jazzanova, DJ Karizma and Masters At Work. Generally billed just by her first name, Rebekah Teasdale is a DJ and producer from Birmingham, England who has been active since the mid-'90s. Like most figures of the Birmingham techno scene, her tracks are often hard, dark, and minimalist, with heavy pounding beats and gradual suspenseful development. An avid clubgoer since her youth, she began spinning records in 1996, at the age of 16. She spent several years as a model in order to provide financial support for her DJ career. She released an edit of the Mighty Dub Katz's house anthem "It's Just Another Groove" in 2004, but her first original productions, starting with 2007's "Toad in a Hole," were minimal tech-house. By the early 2010s, her sound had gotten darker and heavier, and she eventually caught the attention of Chris Liebing, who released Rebekah's Cycles EP on his CLR label in 2013. ~ AllMusic

Richie Hawtin played an essential role in developing the sound of minimal techno, as well as spreading its popularity throughout the global club scene. Most famous for his experimental acid techno productions as Plastikman, including the classic albums Musik (1994) and Consumed (1998), he is equally well-regarded for his groundbreaking live sets and mix CDs (especially 1999's Decks, EFX & 909) which utilize cutting-edge DJ technology, fusing loops of techno records with additional synthesizers and drum machines. Initially based in Windsor, Ontario and connected with the techno scene in nearby Detroit, he co-founded the highly influential Plus 8 (and its harder sublabel Probe Records) along with John Acquaviva, later establishing Minus and relocating to Berlin during the early 2000s, just as minimal techno began receiving mainstream exposure. Growing up heavily influenced by Black gospel music, her mother a classically trained pianist and music minister in a Pentecostal church, Rimarkable’s childhood summers in Chicago also gave her an introduction to house music, during the genre’s explosive infancy. An Afro-Latina from Detroit, she’s first generation Puerto Rican, and the Afro-Caribbean sound continues to have a huge impact on her sonic leanings, alongside the unmistakable ear training of the city’s techno legacy. Rimarkable started professionally DJing in 1997, first doing private events and then clubs in the early 2000s. She’s since played around the world alongside the likes of George Clinton, Francois K, Bonobo and Gene Farris. She started producing in 2006, after she grew tired of male producers either not understanding how she wanted to sound, or luring her into the studio to hang out, then asking her to freestyle on the mic, while hitting ‘record’ and releasing music without her consent. Her first release as a producer was in 2011 on E-man's Liberate Recordings label, a track called "Peace Lives Here" ft. Valerie Troutt. A multi-hyphenate musician who has found various creative outlets over the years, Rimarkable believes in DJing and producing as a spiritual practice, exploring alchemy through the DJ art form as well as African spiritualism, healing, mental health and self-care. It’s a philosophy that eventually manifested as a lecture and classroom series called ‘The Alchemy of DJing’, a means for her to creatively engage in social justice, and empower women and youth. It’s taken her to various cities such as Nairobi and Berlin, and US institutions such as Yale and Queens Museum. Quite literally a party starter she also has produced dozens of successful events in New York, Detroit and the Bay Area over the past 20 years. In early 2021 Rimarkable signed to UK house music institution Defected including the Defected Music publishing arm, and stepped up as a presenter for the weekly Defected Radio show, which is syndicated globally to 170+ FM stations and available as a podcast with a reach of 20m+. Scan 7 is a mysterious techno collective in Detroit consisting of Trackmasta Lou and Mr. Hooper. The duo always wears masks when performing. Of undeniable motor city vintage Scan 7 have long been a rotating cast of veiled producers deeply rooted in the underground culture of America’s midwest and the rich musical heritage of Detroit. With close ties to, and allies with Underground Resistance, Scan 7 have canvassed the word of techno worldwide, and the collective are to be counted as a force within the transgressional wave of Detroit artists that navigated the US-European divide to create a historical axis with Berlin. Delivering Tresor two influential albums in Dark Territory (1996) and Resurfaced (1999) Scan 7 concurrently remain a vital proponent in maintaining techno music’s core values, representing the genre’s formation, foundation and Afro-American origins. Wright spent most of his teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. His love for dance music expanded throughout his high school years as he partook in the underground dance scene now globally known as Juke. While in undergrad at Morehouse College in Atlanta, he developed his skills as a dancer/voguer in professional dance companies and the ballroom scene. After acquiring an MA Fashion Curation, from the London College of Fashion, Wright enjoyed an active career in fashion in New York City. That is where he met Andrew Butler, founder of Hercules and Love Affair, and began a whirlwind collaboration with the ensemble as a vocalist. Currently, Wright is exhilarating dance floors worldwide as a dj and is featured on several acclaimed releases with Stereogamous, Bell Boys, Bobmo, Kiki, Alinka, and System of Survival with more stellar collaborations on the horizon for 2016. Skee Mask is a versatile producer from Munich, who doesn’t want to be identified. He got influenced by a lot of different types of music over the last years, which made his productions pretty various. Skee Mask’s direction is mostly rolling rhythms, combined with electronic soundscapes, always forcing to create a deep vibe. His influences mainly are from “old” techno labels like Chain Reaction, Warp Records or Counterbalance. He’s still developing his procedure in making tracks, but always staying himself. In his DJ sets he tries to create a deep trip, constituted of organic grooves and diverse clang accompaniments. In the future he plans to continue doing what he has does best, creating and playing timeless records, and asserting his position within the rich history of Detroit Techno. "A lot of DJs are switching over digital technology as a medium for their performances. I've been very reluctant to take that step. I am a vinyl DJ first and foremost, so I'll probably play records until my favorite labels stop pressing them. Mainly because I find them more reliable. I've never had a record crate crash in the middle of one of my shows and kill all of the music. Additionally, I think there's something to be said for the tradition of DJs playing old fashioned wax with analog turntables. Music from the future, made and performed with equipment from the past!"

In 1996 he got together with Markus Nikolai and Chris Rehberger to form the audio-visual project Pile. In 1997 he and Nikolai founded the Perlon label, on which he has released under the pseudonyms Dimbiman, Pantytec (with Sammy Dee) and Narcotic Syntax (with James Dean Brown). In 1999 the SuPERLONgevity compilation was released, featuring 'Bushes', a track that has since garnered chart-topping remixes from the likes of Derrick Carter and Fatboy Slim. Franzmann also recorded with Peter "Baby" Ford and has appeared on Ford's label PAL SL. He is a regular guest DJ in clubs around the world and holds residencies at Robert Johnson (Offenbach) and the Panorama Bar (Berlin). He participates in the Narod Niki project, occasional collective laptop live jams initiated by Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. He has released tracks and remixes on Perlon, Playhouse, Force Inc, Novamute and others.

One of the most important dance music acts of all time, 808 State played a major role in popularizing acid house in the U.K. at the end of the 1980s, and have remained a primary influence on several generations of techno, IDM, and alternative dance artists. Initially associated with the Madchester scene, which otherwise consisted of dance-friendly rock bands descended from post-punk and psychedelia, they were among the first groups to put a British spin on Detroit techno and Chicago house, producing electronic tracks that were complex and experimental yet melodic and accessible. Debuting with the free-flowing acid tracks of 1988's Newbuild, the group scored a major hit with the lush, summery 1989 single "Pacific," which hit the U.K. Top Ten and remains one of the most beloved tunes of the rave era.

After getting to know each other in Zürich in 2008, Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer became inseparable, not just as friends, but also as artists. The two men carved out a career as one of the most consistently delivering DJ/producer duos in the house and techno scene: Adriatique. The key to an enduring partnership is, of course, to complement each other, and the two Adrians do so admirably. Music-wise, their various tastes combine into one unique sound, and their respective preference for studio work and performance means that both aspects are equally well covered. Adriatique’s DJ performances as well as their productions are long, meditative, relentlessly building affairs, ever challenging the listener with subtle twists interrupting their hypnotic groove. The continued rise of Alan Fitzpatrick is the biggest story in UK techno right now. Having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2009, Fitzpatrick now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer.

Altın Gün offer an exciting mix of Turkish folk, psychedelia, funk and rock. After performing in Istanbul , bassist Jasper Verhulst became fascinated by the Turkish sound of the 70s. At that time, artists like Selda, Barış Manço and Erkin Koray combined traditional music with western rock influences. Along with bandmates Ben Rider and the bands' first drummer, Nic Mauskovic, Verhulst searched for Turkish musicians to revive this sound. They found Merve Dasdemir and Erdinc Yildiz Ecevit through Facebook. Jungle by Night’s energetic percussionist Gino Groeneveld joined the group and the band was complete. Altın Gün play songs from the aforementioned artists from the 70’s and their lesser-known contemporaries and also make their own arrangements of Turkish traditionals. This way different worlds meet and form a refreshing danceable sound. In 2018 drummer Daniel Smienk joined the band. The new album, Gece, will be released in April 2019 on Glitterbeat Records.

To this day, they continue to push the boundaries by not just perfecting the mix, but also by innovating on what has previously been done. Boris also created his second alias called “ANNA” in 2007 and had some groundbreaking releases on Autist Records. Before his music career he was a professional surfer. Fisher started out as one half of the DJ duo Cut Snake with surfer Leigh "Sedz" Sedley. The duo formed in 2012 and released the EP's Life's a Beach in 2015, Magic in 2016, and Action Burger in 2016. Paul Fisher released the single "Losing It" in 2018 which reached #26 in Belgium, #35 in Australia, and #60 in Ireland and in the UK. The song also reached #1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart. His single "You Little Beauty" was released in 2019 and reached #41 in Australia. Upon graduating he began performing with the Detroit Symphony Civic Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Detroit's own Godfather of jazz, the late Marcus Belgrave. While performing locally with this ensemble, he also attended Wayne State University where he studied jazz piano under Matt Michaels. As time went on, word of mouth began to spread about Dixon and his talents. While in college he accompanied The Mosaic Youth Theater of Detroit as an accompanist/bandleader for their productions and concerts as well as performed all over the city and state. Jon currently teaches multiple group piano classes at the Michigan State University Community Music School in Midtown Detroit. He has had the chance to also play for/with Chick Corea, Jeff Hamilton, Robert Hurst, Delfayo Marsalis, John Clayton, The Count Basie Orchestra, Marcus Belgrave, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Leon Ware, Eric Roberson, Dwele, Amp Fiddler and more over the past decade. Recently Dixon has been taking another approach towards music and production while currently working on various Hi-Tech Jazz projects. In 2015 Jon started an independent label, 4EVR 4WRD (Forever Forward) to focus on making electronic music fused with elements of Jazz, Hip Hop and other styles of music. "I feel that it is important for me as a musician to not only continue the rich culture and history of both jazz and electronic music but to also use my knowledge, theory and experience to combine the two and take both genres to the next level!" Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Loco Dice is a house DJ/producer with minimal leanings who is affiliated with labels including Four:Twenty Recordings, Ovum Recordings, Cocoon Recordings, M_nus, and Cadenza, as well as the label he founded with production partner Martin Buttrich, Desolat. Born Yassine Ben Achour in Tunisia, he began his career in the early '90s as a rap MC/DJ named Dice'C. As such, he experienced some modest success in his German homeland, for instance releasing the 12" EP Coming from D-Town (1996) on Flavour Records and opening for big-name rap/R&B performers such as Snoop Dogg and Usher. In time he switched from rap to house music and changed his name to Loco Dice in the process. Over the last ten years, Mark Farina has built himself up to become one of the most sought-after DJs in dance music today. Though he is mostly recognized for his deep-house DJ prowess, it is Farina’ wide-ranging musical knowledge that helped shape the Mushroom Jazz series, a continuously mixed collection of down-tempo, dance-floor jazz for the turntablist generation. ̸BIOGRAPHY Midland is a DJ, Producer and Record label owner from London. Through his productions, DJ sets and record labels, Midland's output comes across as unassuming and surprising in equal measure, at once subtle, refined and totally raucous. As a Producer Midland’s style has nimbly evolved from one record to the next. From his debut release with Pearson Sound (aka Ramadanman) “Your Words Matter” via “Trace” to his most recent EP “The Alchemy of Circumstance” he has explored a vast range of styles whilst managing to keep a core sound that is truly his own. In 2013 he started his label “Graded" to focus on releasing his own music, “Archive 01”, “Drumtrak” and “Blush” all followed. This was followed by the arrival of another label, ReGraded, in which he explored the art of sampling with “Double Feature” and culminating with the release of “Final Credits” a sleeper hit that went on to be voted Mixmags song of the year in 2016. His label InterGraded was launched in 2018 focussed on releasing music by new or emerging artists. He has remixed, amongst others, Dua Lipa, The Chemical Brothers, St Vincent and Darkstar. He helped with production on Jessie Wares “Save A Kiss” alongside James Ford. It is arguable however that he has made his biggest impact with the other side of his craft: DJing. Delivering his kaleidoscopic taste with a mixing technique that nods as much to his British lineage as it does to a smoother European style, he has distinguished himself with an ability to switch styles in a way that always feels totally natural. Born in the French mountains, Grenoble, 1973, Kittin expressed an interest in the visual arts – she studied both contemporary and graphic arts. As time progressed, however, Kittin found herself emulating her parents’ musical tastes by developing an interest in musical genres ranging from classic, jazz, funk & disco to English Pop. Finding her niche in Electronic Music in 1991, Kittin raved all around the country before doing her first mix in April of 1993. Her first set came one year later in 1994, at which time she started her career with Tekmics Booking Agency, playing in the famous Dragon Ball wild parties of Southern France.,<br/ >In pursuit of other opportunities, Kittin left France in 1996 and relocated to Geneva, Switzerland, where she would join the Mental Groove Record Posse one year later. Moonear slowly began collaborating with artists and friends like Luciano or Cosmic Chile Zürich, along with Dandy Jack as Junction SM. In the last couple of years she has been releasing her own tracks and remixes on renowned international labels such as Karat and Perlon. Rising in Turin and currently based in Munich, Stenny debuts with his first 12″ Solstice Deity on the Zenker Brothers label Ilian Tape in 2013. Mainly inspired by the spirit of 90’s Techno and IDM, his contribution as a producer could be described as club focused but not merely functional. The dusty and stepping drum programming, often contrasting with the dense, atmospheric surrounding, is one of the peculiarities of his style, which in fact, references often to the Jungle or Hardcore era, but basically aims to evolve with no genre boundaries. As a Dj he maintains a similar, versatile and open minded approach, ranging between contemporary and classic but forward thinking club music.
