In 2000, he was heavily influenced by the global movement of dance music and turned DJ with inspiration from the music scene around the world. Soon after,he was named a resident DJ at the infamous party EDEN @ Club AIR in Shibuya. He has successfully collaborated with international parties such as Globa Underground and Serious,and in 2004 he made his first overseas appearance in Australia. From the beginning, Ryo has set his sights on crossovers with street culture such as fixie bikes,and has emerged as a brand that cannot be ignored with its highly acclaimed sound. he has been actively expanding into Cities such as Ibiza,Berlin,NY, Melbourne, HongKong, Bali, Bangkok, Macau and Seoul. In Bangkok,he started his own program "Tokyo Sessions"on UB Radio,a dance-based internet radio based in Bangkok. Inspired to begin producing music,he released his first original track in 2006 entitled,"smashing pumpkin", on the compilation CD of "EDEN". Together with some of the most talented DJs in the Tokyo scene, he then launched a new party called WEEKEND WARRIORZ in 2008. In 2009 he won the club party competition "RED BULL NIGHTMASTER" as EDEN. Subsequently,in November of the same year,he also participated in the DJ Contest organized by Parties4Peace called "PATAGONICA" as an individual, winning the championship and a trip to play music in Patagonia, Chile. This led him to experience a two-week South American tour in Chile from February to March 2010. Since then, he continues to collaborate with Parties4Peace between Tokyo and NY.

He gradually developed his own unique style of music, mastering and perfecting his turntables skills and cultivates his know-how and connections to host and promote underground music events. In 1999, he returned to his birth country, Taiwan. With the master plan to bring the best of electronic dance music to his homeland, he created Noise Records, one of the most respected record stores in Taiwan, selling vinyl records he handpicked from European and North American record labels. He also the leader of the Noiz party crew and promote underground rave and clubbing culture. In 2010, DJ Twisted Jack moved to Shanghai, China and held a position as the resident DJ and events coordinator at Lost Haven. He was also invited to join the Five Spices International DJ Team from Holland. Currently, he's the resident DJ and music director at Taiwan’s premier dance Club Myst, and regularly spin along side world class talents that come to Club Myst on a monthly basis. “Energetic and good vibe dance music" is often being described about DJ Twisted Jack's live sets. His sound is a mixture of funky tech-house, breaks, electro, and tribal, with the smooth ability to play different kind of sets for different hours that spread out the night, and not just typical peak time set to just bang your head out.
