Marco Yu
Marco Yu 的Techno演出富力度，也擅長放演從Minimal到Electro等不同類 型;他著重各類音樂的本質特性, 同時具備風格的靈活性。此外, 他亦致力具沉 思性和儀式性的Ambient編曲和創作 。
作為資深派對組織Utopia Hong Kong的創始團員, Marco和他的隊友通過在香港 和東亞地區舉辦的一系列派對活動, 助長了這座城市的電子音樂發展。同時, Marco透過派對組織 “TRI” ，著力推動更重力度的Techno。推廣具有原始粗糙、 深沉、催眠性、實驗性的電子音樂, 舉辦地下派對並探索Techno的邊緣性和可 能性。
Marco曾參與Sonar HK、Wonderfruit、Shi Fu Miz – Boiler Room 等音樂節和 大型活動的演出。亦經常於不同的舞場、商業非商業活動和各種場合演出。
Dan Neo
Mill H.
前職為紋身師的Mill H，自小受到音樂和藝術啟發，在2009年正式開始他的DJ生涯。 Mill的音樂取材多樣，種類亦闊，他獨愛質感豐富兼氣氛化的音樂，均配合場地及聽眾所求。音樂與身心合而為一，帶領眾人以支體去表達自己。 在本地地下派對相當活躍的Mill，曾以Utopia名義參與香港Boiler Room派對。
Konnection
TRI is a rave cooperative based in Hong Kong.
Featuring raw, deep, experimental, hypnotic and heavy sounds, TRI assembles series of underground rave that explore the marginality and possibility of contemporary techno. As a “rave cooperative”, we provide a platform for local and international producers and DJs to express their creativity freely. We prioritise quality sound art and unpretentiousness from the start, which has led to us being blessed with a pretty special crowd.
Marco Yu
Known for his vigorous techno sets which offer emotive and cerebral listening experience, Marco is also adept at playing a range of genres, from minimal to electro; persisting the characteristics of different genres while maintaining a flexibility in style. In addition, he works on meditative and ritualistic tunes of ambient.
As a co-founder of the established collective, Utopia Hong Kong, Marco and his teammates have successfully nurtured the city’s ever evolving electronic music scene through an array of parties in Hong Kong and across East Asia. In the meantime, Marco has been promoting heavier techno sounds on the side through his event series concept TRI. Featuring very raw, deep, experimental, hypnotic and drone sounds, TRI assembles series of underground rave verging on the edge, exploring the marginality and possibility of techno.
Marco has recently played at festivals like Sonar HK, Wonderfruit, Shi Fu Miz – Boiler Room and among others. Besides, he plays regularly at various clubs, in commercial and non-commercial occasions.
Konnection
Born and bred in Hong Kong, Konnection initially got into music through band sound and switched his enthusiasm to electronic music in recent years. However, music has always been a consistent undercurrent throughout his life.
As a raver himself, Konnection took the experiences in parties as his influences which led him down the path of becoming a DJ and started spinning at parties all around town. Leveraging a diverse range of tastes, Konnection embraces the sounds of techno, house, electro, tribal and minimal by crossing over the genres which leads one to a fresh atmospheric journey.
Dan Neo
As a film critic and scholar, Dan-Neo is a firm believer in storytelling. His DJ sets often bring you ups-and-downs by merging different genres across countries and eras, drawing elements from disco, house, techno, dub-step and more. He can demonstrate an effortlessness of going from hard bangers to soft chill-out tunes, and vice versa. The unique texture of his sound is a result of adopting both minimal and maximal approaches to musical selection and mixing skill. Nonetheless, his musical taste is deeply rooted in those beats and tunes that embrace a cinematic and cosmic tone.
Dan-Neo has been honing his skills as a DJ after he joined Acadana - the best kept secret in Hong Kong - back in 2016. Apart from managing parties and events at Acadana, he regularly plays at different bars and clubs across Hong Kong, such as, 宀 Club, Ruby, Oma and Social Room. Dan-Neo's carefully curated selection also brings him to other respected underground venues across the globe, such as, Oil Club in Shenzhen, Pistil in Seoul, 23 Music Room in Taipei, Noor | Electro in Moscow, Ved Siden Af in Copenheagen.
