2023 marks the 10th anniversary of Organik Festival, and it’s back with a brand new site! Organik, run by Taiwanese promoter Smoke Machine, was previously held in Hualien on the coast side, and last year in Yilan in the mountains. This year, Organik will bring the crowd back to the beach – and this time close to Taiwan’s capital Taipei - to camp and to enjoy the 51-hour nonstop music just beside the deep blue ocean.
The new site, “Secret Island”, lies on a peninsula next to The Baisha Bay (Baisha refers to “white sand” in Mandarin). Covered with kilometer-long white sands, The Baisha Bay is a beach along the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area in Shimen District, New Taipei, Taiwan, and has long been an attraction for local and global visitors. “Secret Island” bridges the ocean, the beach and the natural ecosystems on the peninsula. One could camp on the greenest lawn, surrounded by forest, wind corrosion and wild lilies, and reach the sea just within a few minutes.
Three stages will be installed for this year’s Organik inside Secret Island. More than 30 local and international artists will take turn to make the crowd dance around the Outdoor Main Stage and Indoor Stage, with their DJ-sets or Live-sets. An extra stage – Ambient Stage – will present an immersion of the ambient music that connects to the nature.
