Ignited by an internal combustion engine fuelled by raw emotion, Nicole Moudaber is at the forefront of her own movement.

The sought-after techno DJ and producer presides over an empire that includes her influential record label and global party brand MOOD, an award-winning radio show, a back catalogue of incendiary techno releases on labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Carl Cox’s Intec, and a range of philanthropic endeavours.

Born in Nigeria to Lebanese parents, she moved to London after falling foul of Lebanon’s ultra-conservative policies. In London, Nicole began to build the foundations of a career that has since touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the planet.

The global reach of her MOOD empire has led to Nicole curating MoodZONE festival stages at the world’s biggest events: Electric Daisy Carnival, California's Escape, and BPM Festival joined by friends such as Carl Cox, Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Chris Liebing, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot and Dubfire. Aside from her own events, Nicole has delivered her dark, emotive and lascivious blend of techno to clubbing institutions worldwide including DC-10 in Ibiza, London superclub Fabric, New York's Output, and a long list of clubs across the globe.

Her philanthropic endeavours include setting up ELEVEN, an enterprise which aims to end the barbaric practice of FGM (female genital mutilation).

Nicole is now finally making her debut appearance in Hong Kong - catch her at the former Carbon venue on September 9.

Darka

Darka kicked off his DJ career in late 90s and was the champion of "Hong Kong Pioneer DJ Competition" in 2003. It was a milestone of his spinning career and made himself a well-known figure amongst dance floor. Since then, he has devoted all his vigour to the development of electronic dance music in Hong Kong. His name has come across with many notably DJs and producers, such as Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren,Timo Maas, Santos , Jimmy Van M, James Zabiela, Tall Paul, Evil Nine, Radio Slave, Tiefschwarz, Butch, Meat Katie, Peace Division, Elite Force, Stelios Vassiloudis, Takkyu Ishino石野卓球, JDS, John Graham (Quivver), Phil K, Adam Freeland, James What, Noah Pred, Luke Fair and Andy Moor. The co-operations with those big guns strongly influenced his music styles and techniques. Deep House is his signature, loops and effects are his trumps. Nicole Moudaber

Nicole Moudaber is an event promoter, record label founder, radio host, and one of the most passionately followed DJ/producers in the world. In-demand all over the world, Moudaber has played everything from intimate after-hours clubs; to revered nightclub institutions like Space, DC10, Fabric, Output and Stereo; to massive festival stages, including Glastonbury, Electric Daisy Carnival (hosting her own MoodRAW stage), and two appearances at Coachella. She’s been featured by the New York Times and CNN, named “one to watch” by Billboard and Paper magazine, and has graced the cover of electronic music magazines in several countries. Her weekly award-winning radio show In The MOOD is syndicated to over 80 FM stations in over 50 countries, commanding over 20 million listeners worldwide.
