  • Nanogram

Nanogram is the Hong Kong-based DJ project of Jason Ng. Since 2017, Nanogram has evolved through different genres ultimately finding his unique style of blending techno, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Heavily inspired by post-punk and industrial music culture, Nanogram has since determined to bring the dystopian sound to Hong Kong. Realizing the lack of well-tuned sound systems and a music-focused venue in Hong Kong, which limits the possibility of enjoying the far left segment of electronic music, Nanogram found a team of like-minded and driven individuals to build 宀 Club together and started his event series at the club – Entropy 熵, which emphasizes on experimentation on the art of selection, mixing and live performances. Nanogram is a resident DJ of 宀 Club and has performed alongside Phase Fatale, Mr. Ho, Sinus O, and more. He has also performed at a renowned experimental venue in Tokyo, KGR Tokyo, and has contributed a podcast mix to C-Kay’s Coma Hole series.

  • Orphx

Orphx has been creating their unique fusion of rhythm and noise since the 1990s, combining elements of techno with the experimental techniques and critical spirit of industrial music. One of the most highly respected acts in both techno and industrial circles, Orphx (Rich Oddie and Christina Sealey) has been refining their signature fusion of hypnotic rhythms and experimental noise for many years. They began in the early 90s with a raw sound inspired by old-school industrial but soon began incorporating elements of dub, techno, and electro into their work. Orphx built up an international following as one of the pioneering acts within the European "rhythmic noise" scene. More recently their work has come to the attention of techno fans through a series of acclaimed releases on the Sonic Groove label, collaborative work with the likes of Ancient Methods and Justin Broadrick, and remixes for many artists including Conrad Schnitzler, Front Line Assembly, Oscar Mulero, Perc, and Svreca. Oddie and Sealey have performed around the world at celebrated venues such as Berghain and Tresor, and festivals such as Berlin Atonal, Movement, Mutek, and Unsound. They are renowned for their improvised performances, combining software with modular synthesizers and other hardware. Building on a sprawling back catalog that stretches across industrial, ambient, and techno, their recent output has demonstrated that Orphx are both pioneers and innovators in the fusion of rhythm and noise.
