    Copenhagen’s techno matriarch steps up for Cashmere Radio's Texture Mix. Copenhagen’s techno scene is flourishing, and Mama Snake is at its beating heart. The DJ has been a central figure in some of the most vital collectives coming out of the Danish capital—both as a member of the Apeiron Crew and label head of the imprint Ectotherm. Her tireless work pushing the city’s cutting-edge techno sound continues with her new label, Amniote Editions. It’s also coded into the DNA of her DJ sets, which operate at the intersection of techno, electro and trance. Mama Snake’s recent mix for Cashmere Radio’s Texture Mix showcases all the qualities that have made her one of the most formidable DJs in the game right now. Incredibly tight and controlled, she glides effortlessly between rubbery electro, slipstream trance melodies and angular techno. It’s the perfect place to get acquainted with some of forthcoming gems to be released on Amniote in the future.

      Mama Snake first garnered attention as a DJ as part of Copenhagen's now-disbanded Apeiron Crew. She entered the techno scene with a fully formed sound: rattlesnake beats and emotional synths tied together by imperceptible mixing. Her watertight online mixes quickly earned her a following, and she's now busy balancing her life as a touring techno DJ with her job as a recently qualified surgeon.

This is safe space where you will not be harassed, discriminated, criticised or harmed emotionally or physically. This is a place where all Races, Genders and Sexual identities are welcome.
