Desa Potato Head Beach Club in Bali, Indonesia has made an addition to its facilities with the opening of Headstream, a new studio and record store.

Headstream will serve host to future events and livestreams at the studio and record store, apart from selling vinyl releases and zines. In addition to hosting events and selling vinyls, Headstream is set to organize daily livestreams from 7am to 7pm (UTC+8.00) local time, with each stream to be hosted by different local artists such as Farhan Ali and Nindy Noto.

The livestream will make its official launch this weekend as part of Headstream’s official grand opening. The event will feature local talents such as KiTA, Gabber Modus Operandi, and Dea Baradana, to name a few. Visitors can view the livestream, as well as its schedule, on their official website here

Headstream is currently located at the entrance of Desa Potato Head within ‘The Womb’, an 80-metre bamboo archway built by Indonesian artist Nano Uhero. Its space was designed in collaboration with Bali-based architect, Zhi Xiong Chan, of ZXC studio. The space including its panels, display windows, interior surfaces, and floorings to name a few, is entirely made out of repurposed materials consisting of motor bottles, mineral water caps, and industrial rubber rejects. A total of 564 kilograms of recycled plastic was used in its construction.

Other than the Beach Club in Bali, the Indonesian hospitality and lifestyle brand has resorts and clubs in Singapore and Hong Kong
