Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, with limited access to the internet but a huge thirst for new music, Akanbi moved to NY in 2010 and immersed himself head on into every corner of dance music, as a serious dancer and eventually a DJ and rave activator. He’s cultivated his unique style of DJing that delivers an intentional blend of freak-out boogie music, sensual rollers, whipcrack bangers, insistent percussion, afrobeat goodness, deep thumping low frequencies & slow-burning experimental descents. In 2016 he started New York’s GROOVY GROOVY parties, a judgment-free atmosphere for wild dance floors, spiritual, mental & physical rejuvenation, radical politics, and a dose of undeniably rocking talent. Akanbi has made an impression with incendiary sets at Sustain Release, New York’s Nowadays & Public Records, and internationally at the legendary soundsystem function -- Wax Treatment, Griessmuehle, Tresor, Sameheads in Berlin and Drugstore, Belgrade.

ka-Sol is one of the multiple monikers of Ecuadorian Multidisciplinary artist Sol León. Acacia Baila label boss focusing on global dance music informed by psychedelic encounters and the sensual nature of sound. Their DJ sets are known to be spacey and dynamic always defying linearity, while maintaining the trance induced essence of the clubbing experience.

Amelia Holt is best known for her shapeshifting sets, weaving through genres and tempos creating a narrative flow uniquely her own. She currently holds down a residency at Public Records and runs an eponymous monthly music newsletter, In Your Dirty Ears, highlighting her favorite new electronic releases and more, with Yumi and S. Casella. Incubating since 2020, Uwu dust bath is her newly launched label co-birthed with Athen’s based DJ, Noff. A bubble of sensory bliss, the label acts as a virtual hub, connecting and documenting blissfully leftfield artists who share mutual affiliation for sonic release and elevated states.

Sandpaper for the soul. Relaxer is the project of Daniel Martin-McCormick, fka Ital, member of Halal & Relaxer/Ital & Halal, Mi Ami, Black Eyes, Sleeper Cell, Interplanetary Prophets, and more. Rooted in the US punk/noise underground of the late '90s and early 2000s, Martin-McCormick's music embodies a sensual, visceral edge that reflects and extends that legacy. His hardware live sets, honed over a decade of tours, are exhilarating, white knuckle rides, while his DJ sets fluidly cross genres and eras with a cathartic sense of play. He's been a repeat performer at Berghain (where the Relaxer project made its live debut), De School, Unsound, Nowadays and many others. On albums "Concealer" (Planet Mu), "Coconut Grove" (Avenue 66) and "Hedonic Fatigue" (Climate of Fear), his productions stretch out, weaving strands of wormhole techno, minimal, noise, UK hardcore continuum and fractured ambient into a rippling, mesmeric tapestry. Following his recent composition studies with Morton Subotnick, Relaxer's music has evolved a new modality: alongside his club works there have been concerts of long form durational works featuring spoken word and richly spatialized sound design. His debut performance in this new style was a standout at Sustain-Release Year Seven. These works were released in the Summer of 2022 as "Force Field: A Guide for the Perplexed" on Club Night Club. Behind the scenes, Martin-McCormick has been a consistent force shaping the US underground. He was a key member of Sustain-Release from its inception and co-director from 2017-2021, founded the labels Lovers Rock Recordings & Climate of Fear, was one of the first residents at Bossa Nova Civic Club. He currently runs Lovers Rock Records, the Dripping event series (with Baby Leo and aka-Sol) and holds a residency at The Lot Radio.

Resident at The Lot Radio / Cofounder Human Pitch, SLINK, Big Room Boogie Simisea (Brandon Sánchez) is a Miami-born and NYC-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of record label Human Pitch, label and night SLINK, and rave series Big Room Boogie. Simisea has held a 6 year long radio residency at The Lot Radio alongside his Human Pitch partner Tristan Arp in which he collages dance and experimental electronic music with global innovators in bass, dub, dembow, club, psych, techno and beyond. His work with his SLINK collective (Enayet, K Wata, rrao) shines a light on slinked-out dance music and slippery club rhythms.

Colin Self is an artist currently based in New York. Colin composes and choreographs music, performance, and environments for expanding consciousness, troubling binaries and boundaries of perception and communication. Working with communities across disciplines and practices, Colin utilizes voice, bodies, and computers to interface with biological and technological software.
