With her DJing platform, Aldonna aims to spread unity through dance. Carina Lawrence is a Melbourne born and based DJ whose love for music began when she was 9 years old. Her musical education as a child eventually led to her swapping the guitar and clarinet for a set of CDJ200’s at the age of 19. There were forays into commercial djaying at corporate events and functions but the underground kept calling. The lure of darkly lit club-rooms and late nights belting out the best of beats ultimately proving too alluring for her time and time again. Carina’s sound can be described as dance-floor-ready cuts with groovy rhythmic basslines, melodic elements, tribal & soulful. One look at her in the booth reveals the concentration and attention to detail that she has become famous for. No ego just good tunes, on-point mixing and a mood and energy in the room second to none.

Amongst the Melbourne electronic dance music community, Gavin Keitel is the quiet achiever to have made the biggest impact. With 18 years of professional DJing behind him, starting out at age 16 in Darwin, and culminating in his outstanding performances at his residencies at Melbourne's Sunny, 161 and other important underground clubs, Gavin continues to hold some of Melbourne's longest standing and influential residencies. He has kept his eye not on the prize, but on the movement. Keitel is more interested in blowing someone's mind with an intelligent selection of records rather than trying to be a superstar. As such, he has avoided becoming a product of any big promotion machine and has aligned himself with good music, rather than brands, labels and crews.

In the decade that British-born producer, promoter and DJ Gav Whitehouse has called Melbourne home, he has become a driving force in shaping the city’s infamous electronic music scene, with his adopted home as is his inspiration and muse. Getting his hands on his first pair of turntables in the late 90s in the north of England, like most fledgling DJs, Gav first cut his teeth on harder styles. Always ready to go one better, DJing alone was not enough. His first ever event, Rotation which he ran for 4 years would eventually become the official afterparty for hard house juggernaut Goodgreef in Preston. He later packed up and imported the event, along with himself, to Melbourne.

Darkness, power, drive, thrust and the taste of energy… Chains and harnesses make up the hard armoured exterior that MARSH LONG equips shortly before making her way onto stage. It is her way of tapping into confidence and defiance that she otherwise feels distant from. MARSH LONG is a Melbourne based DJ that has found her love in music since a very young age. Growing up learning music from a young age has set MARSH LONG on a musical journey that has found her in a place that is anything but the familiar setting of classical piano and violin. In her DJ performances, she incorporates concepts into the majority of her sets, this being one of the defining reasons she sticks out from most of the artists you hear at the club. There is a constant thrive of driving beats that keeps your feet moving and your heart-beat flowing, her sets always aim to take you through a musical journey creating a unique arc that leaves you feeling a different way to what you came with.

Mike Callander started DJing in 2001, and since then has been recognised as one of Australia’s most diverse and yet consistent selectors. He has helmed critical residencies at home in Melbourne clubbing institutions such as Honkytonks, for which he also compiled and recorded The Last Dance mix CD released globally in 2007, and more recently at Revolver, where his weekly Friday night offering continues beyond its tenth year.

Miss Gabrielle is a multi genre underground DJ, passionately playing eclectic Afro-Latin rhythms and electronic sounds; House, Tribal, Techno, Balearic, Samba, Calypso.. the list goes on.

Hailing from Tokyo, Naoto brings his unique selection of Jazz, Afrobeats, Brasilian music, Hiphop and some Japanese stuff through his magnificent mixing and scratching skills. Over a decade of experience as a Hiphop DJ and organizing events in Japan, he was still wondering what his actual music style was. Then he decided to move to Melbourne Australia, where he could feel the musical diversity. Melbourne gave him lots of opportunities to let him open his ears to different kinds of music from Brasil, Africa, Latin America and Asia through parties and events he had played. He also got a west African percussion called Djembe to play on top of his set to get the vibe together. After a long long winter of the pandemic, he got back to the decks and also started organizing a weekly Monday “Playaz Club” at one of the most iconic venues in Melbourne, Section 8. Come check his energy, you won’t regret.
