Dj / Producer from Mexico City. Co-Founder of Lichi Mx and Dj Resident at Pervert Mx
Trained in classical music from a very young age, studying traverse flute and drums throughout his teens to finally discover Electronic Music, Crate Diggin, and Mixing records as a way of self-expression.
Lupone is now a known name around Mexico's City rave circuit after more than 7 years of playing in this fascinating Megapolis.
In 2019 he became the first House DJ to have a Residency at Pervert: One of the most successful parties in the city that up until that moment focused mainly on Techno and its darker variants. A residency that he still holds to this day where crowds of +2k people come to rave and join with their most sexual selves.
2020 saw the birth of Lichi; a Label run in collaboration with Cris Capetillo, better known as Crjs. One of the finest, most prolific, and most important graphic designers in Mexico City electronic music circles.
Focusing on their shared love for UKGarage and Bass Music, it started as mix series to inject these sounds into Mexico´s Club Music Scene and became a Netlabel short after that. Releasing Hit Edits of classic Reggeaton tracks for a more club-focused intention.
2021 was the first "Garage Soul Oddysey" party. A nomadic all-night B2B with Nick Cobby where their love for Garage history was told through curated selections of vinyl records from the NY Garage House scene to its development into UKGarage in the 90´s all the way to present house movements and sounds.
With guest appearances on Rinse France, Radio8000, Aire Libre, Internet Public Radio, Radio 28, Ibero 90.9, and performances at Funk, YuYu, Departamento, Pordetroit, Discos Movimiento, Discos Sentimiento and a long list of promoters and clubs in México as well as in Madrid, Los Angeles, and Skopje have allowed Lupone to showcase his various and different sides as a Dj. Jumping between a wide array of genres throughout his long love affair with Electronic Music.
Lupone also works as a Photographer documenting for Magazines, Promoters, and Festivals in Mexico and Europe.
