about
Originating from Macau, Portuguese artist Miguel Santos is an integral part of Beijing’s underground electronic music scene. Known for his stage name Nigls, as his alter interpretation of the electronic music spectrum.
Growing up in Portugal, Miguel first got in touch with electronic music through his Lisbon's vibrant nightlife.
In 2012, Miguel moved to China’s capital for studies. From then he quickly started to get involved in Beijing’s flourishing clubbing scene, by organising events and preforming regularly in various venues around the city. Including the most influential Techno club in the country - Lantern - where he performs regularly today and also other neighbouring cities across China in many exciting venues throughout.
In 2018 Miguel founded FORMA party series. Focusing on a more minimalist edge of electronic music, FORMA is pushing this underground movement to strive in Beijing; furthermore, it’s exploring the subconscious links of music and other forms of art.
