about
oisy Pots share a classical and jazz background, and started out by making electro music out of kitchen utensils – hence their name. Yes, their live set-up still features pots and pans.
Formed by Michal Supak and Jakub Tengler, Noisy Pots are at the forefront of the many diverse independent acts currently bubbling out of the Czech Republic.
The duo toured India twice in 2022-2023 performing at All About Music Mumbai and clubs in Pune, Kolkata and Ahmadabad. They conducted a masterclass at the True School of Music in Mumbai and recorded a single with indian singer Goldie Sohel.
They also performed at Waves Vienna 2020 (online), Reeperbahn 2019 (DE), Seoul Music Week 2019 (KOR), Trans Musicales de Rennes 2018 (FR), TEDx Basel 2018 (CH), The Alternative Great Escape 2017 (UK), and at major Czech festivals and venues including Colours of Ostrava, Rock For People. They supported Meute (DE) and Tatabojs (CZ).
In their most recent singles, „The Internet“ and „Children“, they placed a strong emphasis on collaborating with other artists, taking a slight departure from their usual genre. The singel Children features german producer The Micronaut. Earlier music video “Rebeko“ represents band‘s unique approach to music making at its best. Rough beats and melodies made exclusively from sampled household appliances deliver an unusual sonic experience.
In their live shows, Noisy Pots feature guest vocalists and rappers, Tanita and Ešli, while the light show is created by Jan Poš.
