Born in Australia and always obsessed with music, he trained as a classical pianist, before moving on to study sound engineering and completing a Bachelor of Music as a vocalist. By the age of 18 he had a record deal as a solo artist and had performed all over Australia, supporting artists such as Bjork and The Prodigy on their tours of the Southern Hemisphere. Moving to London at the age of 20 he went on to record under various artist names including Antarctica, Altitude, Sound of Soho and Tremor.
