Oscillating between disco, house, acid, techno, pop and hip hop, Casino Mum is a true Gemini who likes to keep you on your toes at all times. From running a series of successful queer club nights, Passiona, at The Brightside in Brisbane in 2017, to activating the Coolangatta Bowls Club for So Siq Sundays in 2020, Casino Mum has had many years’ experience in both playing and managing music events. Casino Mum has played a stream of music festivals and regular club nights, as well private and corporate functions to suit almost any taste – as long as you’re down to have a good time.

Conceptually, they take inspiration from the sensibilities of punk, post-modernist dance and the destruction of the gender binary. Sonically, you can expect to hear elements of noise, industrial, IDM, and leftfield techno. These influences are whipped together through a mixing style that is all their own, crafted across years of experimentation, to tell a story like no other. Having built their DJ career from the ground up, Female Wizard has fought for visibility and representation of trans artists across the Melbourne music scene. They co-runs club project Powertrip - a club night and mix series with a focus on diversity, magick and experimentation - has held a residency at cult queer club night Le Fag since its inception, and presents a monthly show of experimental music on Hope St Radio.
