Having cemented themselves firmly as two of the hottest prospects in the UK Drum and Bass scene, Konichi and Decimal Bass combined forces to create Annix and formed an affiliation with DJ Hype's Playaz in 2012 when 'Late Manouvre' found its way on to the 'The Flavours Vol. 4' EP. This lead to Hype signing the duo exclusively to the label and it was no surprise that their debut album 'Inception' was one of the most anticipated underground releases of the 2013, propelling Annix forward and leading to DJ bookings across the UK, Europe and Australia. In 2014 they released the 'Past and Future' EP, remixed 'Must Die!' for Skrillex's OWSLA, and 'State of Mind' and 'Nymfo' for Black Sun Empire's Blackout Music, before closing the year with another acclaimed 4-track 'Digital' EP on Playaz. DJ support for their output has come from the likes of Skrillex, Noisia, TC, Hazard, Friction, Calyx & Teebee and The Upbeats. In Playaz, Annix have stated they now have a label that they "are 100% happy with", and despite a quiet few months of writing and perfecting their material, Annix insist their new batch of songs will "cause some damage"! and are certainly ones to watch moving into 2015.

  • Detroit Bureau of Sound

Detroit Bureau of Sound aka DBS aka ZacDBS in chatrooms aka GothChick4Him92 on Christian Mingle Live electronics, amplified cactus, and a ton of drums comprise the auditory arsenal of Detroit Bureau of Sound aka ZacDBS. A fondness of everything loud developed at a young age and led DBS through boom/crash classical percussion study into the realm of big PA systems blaring analog synthesizers in dark rooms. DBS's musical persuasion comes from unorthodox techniques of experimental composers from the past hundred years - Iannis Xenakis, Wendy Carlos, John Cage, and ultimately the futuristic dance music from Detroit known as techno. It could be said that DBS is fundamentally inspired by our relationship with sound as a species; that since the dawn of humankind, rhythm and pitch have been tools of communication, morphing into language over time, then into "ear art" beyond the bounds of spoken expression. With a mess of modular synthesizers and some fun sonic party tricks, DBS's music enables deep listening environments for controlling mind, body, and energy.

  • Scan 7

Scan 7 is a mysterious techno collective in Detroit consisting of Trackmasta Lou and Mr. Hooper. The duo always wears masks when performing. Of undeniable motor city vintage Scan 7 have long been a rotating cast of veiled producers deeply rooted in the underground culture of America’s midwest and the rich musical heritage of Detroit. With close ties to, and allies with Underground Resistance, Scan 7 have canvassed the word of techno worldwide, and the collective are to be counted as a force within the transgressional wave of Detroit artists that navigated the US-European divide to create a historical axis with Berlin. Delivering Tresor two influential albums in Dark Territory (1996) and Resurfaced (1999) Scan 7 concurrently remain a vital proponent in maintaining techno music’s core values, representing the genre’s formation, foundation and Afro-American origins. Balaclava-clad and armed with Yamaha rhythm machines, MPCs and mounted mixing desk, Trackmaster Lou and Mr. Hooper helm the project in 2018 with a live show of original, improvised and alternate variations of their music, sequential to unreleased wares and newer cuts most recently given rites of passage through German label Solar One Music, Brussels-based Elypsia and Derrick May’s impenetrable Transmat. With the likes of Laurent Garnier’s F Communications supporting the collective in the past alongside a slew of territorial releases for Detroit Underground, the late Aaron Carl’s Wallshaker label and Cratesavers Muzik, Scan 7’s militaristic and political philosophies will forever remain definitively techno and wholeheartedly Detroit.

  • Underground Resistance

Underground Resistance manifesto Underground Resistance is a label for a movement. A movement that wants change by sonic revolution. We urge you to join the resistance and help us combat the mediocre audio and visual programming that is being fed to the inhabitants of Earth, this programming is stagnating the minds of the people; building a wall between races and preventing world peace. It is this wall we are going to smash. By using the untapped energy potential of sound we are going to destroy this wall much the same as certain frequencies shatter glass. Techno is a music based in experimentation; it is music for the future of the human race. Without this music there will be no peace, no love, no vision. By simply communicating through sound, techno has brought people of all different nationalities together under one roof to enjoy themselves. Isn't it obvious that music and dance are the keys to the universe? So called primitive animals and tribal humans have known this for thousands of years! We urge all brothers and sisters of the underground to create and transmit their tones and frequencies no matter how so called primitive their equipment may be. Transmit these tones and wreak havoc on the programmers!
