    Weekend kickoff! In 2006, ALAN RITCHIE moved to Vietnam and Cambodia to host parties and drop beats in Nha Trang, Phnom Penh & Saigon. Strong influences from Detroit Techno define his sound and a DJ who likes to warm up the floor or let the groove flow with all the important soul & funk elements. He will play together with DESNUAGES & DAVID DE BARCE on our club floor. MYHERO always focused on choosing the right music for the moment, relying on very diverse influences across the musical spectrum and across all eras. LA RIFF will support him with his fresh and excellent selection of tracks on our rooftop.

      Alan Ritchie, otherwise known as DJ. Head Honcho at Soul Jazz Funksters HQ Vietnam, is a resident DJ with Electronic Imports, The Lighthouse, Soul Jazz Funksters. He's also the founder of Frequency Radio and Rhythm Control, where he is also a DJ at the latter. Influences : FSOL, The Orb, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Bandulu, Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Oldskool UK Hardcore, Acid House, Detroit Techno, Electro, Anthony Rother, Drexciya, CO-OP, 4 Hero, Bugz in the Attic & The Broken Beat crews, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, Record Shops in London and Rotterdam (Clone), London Pirate Radio Stations, 90's London party scene & his mates and musical friends around the globe...

    • David de Barce

      David de Barce started DJing in Spain in 1994, at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona. He was Resident DJ at Hotel Costes Paris from 2001 to 2010. During this time, he created the Barcelona-Paris compilations and participated in the world-renowned compilations of Hotel Costes. He has DJ’d for many international Luxury Brands, the Fashion Week in Paris, the WMC in Miami and Cannes film festival, amongst others. David has been playing worldwide with well-known DJ’s such as: 2 many Dj s, Wax Taylor, Quantic, Stephane Pompougnac, Jojo Flores and Nicolas Jaar amongst others. He decided to move far away from civilisation and live on an island in the Philippines named Palawan for almost a decade. During this period, he played at great events in South East Asia such as the Malasimbo & Lio festival in the Philippines. Based in Saigon now, inspired by the effervescence of the city and the underground nightlife scene, he is writing, composing and producing his first album named Bokeh Love which will be released at the end

    • Desnuages

      Born in Paris in the ’80s, Desnuages was immersed in music growing up with his mother dancer. Percussionist autodidact, he learns to play Darbouka and Djembe. Attracted by the Parisian night, he was quickly interested by the electronic scene and used to go to Concrete, Rex club with DJ friends where he discovers micro house, deep and minimal. He moved to Saigon in Vietnam in 2018 where he started to learn Djing with Dj friends and was resident at Arcan Club.

      La Riff is Axel Riffaud nickname gave from his childhood friends. It lasted over the years as the strong friendship. Axel grow up with all kind of music in his ears. As many others he first been a dancefloor lover, always looking for the eclectic music. Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Palma de Mallorca, Hong Kong & Ho Chi Minh City been his playground. By the beginning of 2019 La Riff touched for his first time a CDJ, one month later he was starting performing in reputed venues for underground music of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Summer 2019, he started to produce his own tracks with the idea of feed his DJ Set. He immediately got the virus of that and quickly been recognize by professional of the industry for his work.

      Music has the power to alter emotions. MyHero a.k.a. Jordan Bates believes this power of music is best served hot, without limitation or rules. Growing up in 80’s suburbia, MyHero’s taste for electronic music was fueled by Düsseldorf, Chicago, Essex, New York City and Detroit mixed with queer club culture. Kraftwerk, Salsoul Orchestra, Talking Heads, Mr. Fingers, Klein & MBO, The ORB and Adonis are all the roots of MyHero’s house. As an active member of the Mugic collective of deejays and party promoters based in Singapore, MyHero continues his more than 15 years of playing lounges, clubs and parties in the US and across Asia. Can he do it for 15 more? Music also has the power to propel.
